Third person's POV

"It's fine. I'll order it next time." Felix said

Chaerin recognized his voice which really shocked her. She wasn't expecting to meet Felix that hour and in that place. Maybe because Felix is the busy type of person who would stay at home when he had the chance to rest.

"Okay." the owner smiled at Felix and went back to her place

Felix continued eating and still doesn't have an idea that Chaerin is sitting at the table behind him. It was his routine to exercise at 3 am just to avoid people and go to that small restaurant and eat alone. The owner opens the restaurant at that hour only for Felix who has been eating at that restaurant for years of serving as a King.

The two haven't seen each other after that night during Chaerin and Hyunjin's wedding. That was the last time they saw each other and the last time they talked to each other, because Hyunjin and Chaerin went to states to finish their degree which took a lot of years. They went back to Korea a year ago because Chaerin wanted to work there, Hyunjin was also assigned to take over his Dad's company as well as building his own law firm.

Chaerin continuously seen Felix's work through the television and have heard about him through her patients which really amused her.

Her phone started ringing which snapped her out of her dramatic time. She checked and saw Hyunjin calling her. She doesn't want Felix to know she is there, so she paid her food and got out of the restaurant and answered the call.

Hyunjin calling...

[Where are you?]

"I'm eating"

[At this hour?]

"Yes. Can't I?"

[That's not what I mean. Go home. Do you want me to pick you up? Let's talk.]

"I'll go home when I am calm. I don't want to start another argument with you."

[I understand. But can you at least update me so I don't have to worry?]

"I will. Don't worry."

[Thank you.]

Chaerin ended the call and was about to leave when she noticed Felix was looking at her through the glass window. She panicked and turned around to avoid making eye contact.

"Shit." she cursed as she is panicking

Meanwhile, Felix hurriedly finished his food and got out of the restaurant. She looked at Chaerin for a few seconds to confirm that he is not dreaming at all.

"Chaerin, right?" Felix said

Chaerin's eyes widened and then she took a deep breath. She turned around and pretended that she is shock to see him. "Felix? Oh my gosh. Long time no see. How are you?!"

"I'm doing good. How are you? I haven't seen you for a long time after the wedding night. How is Hyunjin? Where are you guys staying?" Felix asked continuously

"I'm great. I'm fine. Yes. It's been a long time since we have seen each other. Hyunjin is doing good with his Dad's company and his own law firm. We went to states to finish our course then we went back here a year ago." Chaerin answered naturally

"Really? I guess we have to catch up with each other's life some other time. Are you heading to the hospital?" Felix asked

"No, I'm on my way home and just got hungry so I ate here." Chaerin smiled

She doesn't want Felix to know about the relationship status of her with Hyunjin, since she doesn't like the fact that Felix and their friends might pity them.

"Do you mind if I..." Felix

"What?" Chaerin asked because she is confused

Felix took out his handkerchief and wiped the sauce on Chaerin's lower lip "You probably didn't notice it. You have a sauce on your lip."

"Oh! I'm just tired and sleepy, that's why I didn't notice. Anyway, thanks." Chaerin awkwardly smiled

"You should take care of yourself, Chaerin. I understand you are busy with your work as a doctor, but don't forget to take care of yourself. You also needed care." Felix said and sighed as a sign of disappointment

"I'm taking care of myself. Hyunjin is also taking care of me. He would always cook food for us and even remind me of things." Chaerin lied as she doesn't want Felix to think bad of Hyunjin

"Really? I thought he is not doing such thing. I'll literally beat him if I found out that he is not taking care of you." Felix jokingly said

"Don't worry. He is a nice guy. He never laid hands on me or even shouted at me. We would always fix things between us whenever we have a misunderstanding." Chaerin smiled

"That's good to know." Felix said

An awkward silence appeared as they both got out of words to say. Or maybe because it was their feelings for each other that is bothering them both.

"Do you want me to walk you home?" Felix

"No. I can walk home alone. You should also get going. I'm sure you will have to wake up early and do your work as a King." Chaerin

Felix nodded and smiled "As always, but I'm already done with work. I am just taking care of other things. Do you want to go on a dinner or lunch?"

"Uh..." Chaerin's heart is beating so fast

"If you don't mind. I just missed you." Felix

"What?" Chaerin

"I mean I missed our bonding as a prince and personal secretary." Felix chuckled

"Right." Chaerin smiled awkwardly
