Third person's POV

"Felix let her rest" King told Felix as he tried to talk to Chaerin

He let out a deep sighed and leaned on the door hoping that she will open it for him. He closed his eyes and started walking away from his Father.

"Lee Felix, I have to talk to you-" King

Felix bowed to his Father "I am sorry, your highness. I want to rest for now. I was so tired" he bowed again and went upstairs, to his room.

He locked the door and lied down on his bed. It feels like he lost everything when Chaerin avoided to look straight to his eyes. That's what he wants. He wants Chaerin to look at him the way she looked at him the first time they met. He is hoping that Chaerin will still act like she didn't find out something. But she didn't. She straightly ignored him and walked away from him.

That was he is scared of, that Chaerin will ignore him. Everyday that he will wake up with a smile on his face knowing that he is some ordinary guy away from the real life of a Prince. He will wake up everyday knowing that he has Chaerin who kept making him feel that everything is fine. But it just happened. She really did ignored him.

The next he knew. His tears started falling from his eyes. He knows it was all his fault and he is not worried about himself. He is worried about the people who are involved from what he did, especially Chaerin.

Before, he doesn't really care when the maids are receiving punishments. He will ignore them but now... He became close to them during the days he spent as a maid. He enjoyed everyday with them. How can he just ignore them receiving punishment because of what he did?

"Prince Felix" King's assistant called outside his room "Your Father wants to talk to you, your highness"

He lazily stood up and left his room. He followed the King's assistant to his Father's office. He is mad and disappointed but he can't disrespect the King which is his Father he looks up to. He knows his limit and he knows he is wrong and should take all the blame.

"The Prince is here" King's assistant announced

"Let him enter" King said

The King's assistant opened the door for Felix and closed it once Felix entered the office.

Felix bowed "You wanted to talk to me, your highness?"

"Yes" King said

Felix stayed quiet.

"We just lost the trust of important people because of your selfishness. You missed the schedules I gave you. You know why I passed them all to you. You are getting ready to be a King, Felix. You are supposed to be responsible-" King

"I never asked nor dreamed to be a King. I didn't even wanted to be a Prince. I just wanted to live a normal life like my friends. There's no limit and I can have fun as much as I want. I am not some robot to be controlled by the media, Father. From the day I was born, everyone knows every single detail of me. The media showed everything about me. Everywhere I go, everyone kept bowing to me. Everyone kept taking pictures of me when I am in public. As much as I want to run away, I never did. I don't want to disappoint you and I wanted to make you proud. That's what I wanted in my whole life, to make you proud of me. I gave up the dream of having a normal life one day. I controlled every emotions that I am feeling everyday, the pressure and criticisim from the people" Felix smiled and bowed deep to the King "I apologize for disappointing you, Father"

The King suddenly felt pain for his son. He never expected any of this, since Felix is good at controlling his feelings. Now, Felix lost it. He finally felt free. He didn't have to control his feelings or emotions.

The door opened and the assistant entered.

"The Love Orphanage received the message, your highness" King's assistant said

Felix was confusingly looked at his Father "W-Why?"

"Thank you, make sure to get ready for tomorrow" the King said

King's assistant left the office.

"Why? Father, please" Felix begged as he desperately want to know why

"Chaerin voluntarily resigned from her position in exchange of not punishing the maids, even you" King answered

Felix started breathing fast as he heard it. He clearly knows why Chaerin is working. He knows her reason and he can't just ruin Chaerin's future because of him.

He kneeled down in front of his Father "I-I will do everything. I will work harder-"

"What are you doing? A Prince is not kneeling in front of anyone. Get up, Felix" his Father said in a scary tone

"Don't remove Chaerin from her position. I will do everything and will train hard to be a King. I promise you that I will attend every schedule I have and will apologize for the people who lost their trust" Felix begged and still kneeling down

The King is worried about Felix. Why is he suddenly begging for someone. He never did nor cared about anyone around him. Chaerin did changed him a lot.

"Felix" he called

He started crying "P-Please, don't let Chaerin leave. I will work hard as a Prince"
