~PHILLIPS POV~

I ran into the park gates panting and at loss of words. I cant believe Y/n actually beat me! She runs so fast!

Phillips: "How did you run so.. fast?"Y/n: "Baseball practice."Phillips: "But I played baseball before you and Im that one who-"Y/n: "Jordan, I play ball all day, every day. You only play ball for like 2 hours!"Phillips: "But-"Y/n: "Can we eat our snacks now! Our slurpees are melting!"Phillips: "Yeah lets go to the swings!"

~Y/N POV~

We run to the swings and I notice Benny walking to Vincents drug store.

Y/n: "Uh oh.." I mumbled quietly.Phillips: "What?"Y/n: "FOLLOW ME!"

I pulled Phillips to the play ground and made him walk up to the slide fast. I hid near the slide and Phillips spilled some of his candy on the way.

Phillips: "Why did you pull me all the way to the slide?"Y/n: "Because Benny is down there and he cant know I'm hanging out with you or he will tell my brother!"Phillips: "Oh right. But you spilled some of my candies!"Y/n: "I could give you some of mine!"

I gave him some of my candies and we talked about how we first met.

~BENNYS POV~

As I was walking back to the sandlot I seen Y/n on the slide alone. As I walked closer I seen PHILLIPS!?

~Y/N POV~

Benny: "Y/N! WHY ARE YOU HANGING OUT WITH HIM!?"Y/n: "Shit."Phillips: "Y/n is her own person and she could hang out with whoever she wants to!"Benny: "I wasn't asking you Phillips!"Y/n: "Phillips has a point, Benny.."Benny: "Y/n.. I- I- I'm telling Bertram!"Y/n: "NO PLEASE BENNY!" Benny: "Y/n as much as this hurts to say but since your hanging out with Phillips, you can be on his team instead.."Y/n: "W-what?"

My voice was starting to crack and i could feel my heart beating in my ears. This was the worst feeling ever. I was so close to crying. And then it happened. A tear fell from my face and Phillips wiped my cheek with his sleeve. I ran off the play ground, grabbed my skateboard and ran home.  It felt like someone was following me. I looked behind me and Phillips and Benny were following me. I quickened my walking pace and walked inside my house and locked the door.

-Time skip!-

I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door. I looked at the time and it said 12:52 am.I got off my bed and opened my door. Bertram and Benny.

Y/n: "Ugh why is he here?"Bertram: "To say sorry. I heard you have been hanging out with Phillips. Is that true?"Y/n: "Yeah? What are you gonna do abou-"

I stopped to the sound of knocking on my bedroom window. Bertram and Benny followed me in my room. I opened the window and Jordan climbed inside.

Benny: "GET OUT PHILLIPS!" Y/n: "Shut your big fat mouth or I will sew it shut I swear to god Benny!"Benny: "Sorry..."Bertram: "Y/n say sorry to him!"

I actually felt really bad and had no idea why I said that. I walked up to Benny and wrapped my arms around his neck.

Y/n: "I'm actually really sorry that I said that. I was just mad that you kicked me off the team."Benny: "Its okay Y/n, I forgive yo-"

~PHILLIPS POV~

Why is Y/n hugging the guy that hurt her mentally!? I couldn't just stand there and let Y/n hug him!

~Y/N POV~

Phillips: "Wheres my hug!?"Y/n: "Oh I forgot sorry!"

I walked over to Jordan and wrapped my arms around his neck as he held my waist.

Bertram: "Okay, okay whats with all the hugging!?"Y/n: "Sorry Bertram."Bertram: "Y/n why is Phillips here?"Y/n: "I don't know I think I locked him out by accident."Phillips: "Yeah you did." Y/n: "Sorry!" I said while laughing.Phillips: "I told my parents that I was sleeping at one of my teammates house."Y/n: "Are you?"Phillips: "No, can I sleep here?"Bertram: "N-"Y/n: "Yes!"
