Some Fun

"Well just wait and see," said Lei and sat down on the table next to theirs. Marshall came and served the food. On his way back to the kitchen, he tripped on Lei's foot and landed on his hands and jumped back up. They fought each other while Lei was laughing and doing funny tricks while Marshall was making funny noises. It was a funny sight and they almost choked while laughing. The fight ended with both of them kicking each other on the face. Paul Phoenix entered just as they fell. Lei and Law fist bumped each other and fell back down. "What are you guys doing?" said Paul. "Don't you have a dojo or something, Law?""Yeah I do," said Marshall. "But this guy here picked a fight."They enjoyed the food prepared in Marshall China. Marshall was a very good cook. The food was at low price because of Steve. Steve refused the discount but Marshall insisted upon it."You didn't put any Laxatives in the food, did you?" asked Steve. "Like the last time you made us pizza, you put in some of that strong traditional Chinese laxative.""I don't know maybe I did," said Marshall, slyly. "I might have confused it with some spice.""Nah dad didn't," said Forest. "He almost did but I took it away from the spice rack.""Aww come on," said his father. "I was just joking around. I never confused laxatives with spice.""You did once," said Forest. "Me and mom were the victims, but mostly me. I couldn't even leave the toilet.""Oopsy, my bad," said Law. "I guess I wasn't paying attention.""You bet you weren't paying attention," said Paul. "You thought it was maple syrup once and put it all over your pancakes. Luckily I didn't want maple syrup and ate them with chocolate sauce instead, but you went crazy on it and it ended very badly for you.""Yeah he couldn't even leave the toilet for the whole day," said Forest. "Mom had to give him the diarrhoea medicine while he was on the toilet."They chatted and at the end, they left Steve in the restaurant and went to a nearby shoe store and shopped for shoes. They went back to the restaurant to see if Steve was still there and indeed he was. He was jumping around with Marshall, Forest, Paul and Lei while singing. "You've got to be kidding me," said Nina. "What are they doing now? Scratching each other's backs?"So they went to a nearby smoothie bar to cool down after the tiring walk under the hot summer sun. They finished their smoothies and Steve finally showed up."Where have you three been?" said Steve. "I've been looking for you all over the place.""Yeah but we waited an eternity for you to leave the restaurant," said Nina. "You were taking forever with the guys.""Yeah I didn't notice the time flying by," said Steve. "How long have I been in there anyway?""I don't know," said Anna. "Forever maybe?""Heh heh sorry about that," said Steve. "Let's go back now."They went back to Nina's mansion and decided to train. They trained intensely and were exhausted in the end. They decided to eat a light dinner after the big lunch they had at Marshall China. They fell asleep after taking turns playing video games with Nina's console. The next day was a very lazy day. They didn't wake up until Anna, wearing an apron, went from room to room banging a frying pan with a spatula."Wakey wakey, breakfast is ready," said Anna. "Come on you, sleepyhead! Wake up!""Uhh five more minutes," said Shasha. "Go la, I wanna sleep."But Anna wasn't going to let her off that easily. She left the door open with light from the hallway blaring into the room."Aww come on," said Shasha. "Please close the door."But Anna didn't come and close the door so Shasha was forced to wake up. Anna was busy banging the frying pan in the other rooms and was welcomed with groans. Nina threw her alarm clock at Anna but missed. Shasha brushed her teeth and freshened up before going downstairs to eat what Anna prepared for breakfast. She saw that the dining table had a big plate with a cover on it. She opened to see what's in the cover and it was blueberry pancakes with maple syrup. Nina and Steve came down groggily with an excited Anna banging her frying pan behind them. Nina looked so annoyed at the moment."How come you woke up so early today?" asked Nina. "Usually you're the last one to wake up.""Well I was bored so here I am," said Anna. "I can't get back to sleep once I wake up.""So you're here now torturing us on a Sunday morning," said Nina. "So what did you make for breakfast?""Your favourite blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and milk tea," said Anna. "Actually, my favourite too."They ate the breakfast while talking."So glad that Jin will be back tomorrow," said Nina. "Things are so outta control without him.""Are you sure about that?" asked Anna. "That guy created a world war and killed many innocent people.""Well that's true too," said Nina. "But it was for a reason, so who am I to judge?"They spent the day either by playing video games or by playing card games. They had lunch in the diner near to the house since they were not in the mood for cooking anything. They just had a simple dinner of toast at the end. "Guys I'm scared," said Shasha. "The tournament is so close! I hope I can do well.""Not against me," said Steve. "I'm gonna win for sure!""Yeah right," said Shasha. "I can beat you in a minute."They trained a little while before showering. After that, they went straight under the warm covers. Jin was returning the next day with Kazuya, Jun and Leonard Kliesen. The Kliesens were looking forward to reuniting with each other. Leo had very little sleep while Emma just stared at the ceiling, unable to sleep. The next day finally came and they woke up bright and early.
