sometimes you meet someone, and you just click.

it was the last day of school, and they were heading to the train.

regulus and elizabeth had a plan, they were going to destroy voldemort's horcruxes. they had more time now - they had just graduated from hogwarts. they both had discovered his secret together.

they sat in the compartment, with loren sitting with them.

"so you're actually going to be doing this?" loren says. "it could be dangerous."

"we'll be okay," elizabeth said, trying to convince herself that was true.

she looked over at regulus - the only boy she had fallen head over heels for, since remus lupin. he smiled at her, and she remembered the year before in summer.

regulus began to laugh, after elizabeth attempting to get as many cauldron cakes in her mouth as possible. she was up to her fifth one, when she cracks up, and some of it falls out.

"ewww," regulus smiles. "we may be drunk but at least we put a towel on the bed."

"we were still pretty stupid to be doing this on a bed in the first place - well it's your turn!"

he takes a cauldron cake, and before he puts it in his mouth, he begins leaning back, and. laughing. he falls off the bed, leaving him and elizabeth both not being able to breathe, because they were laughing so much.

"i can't believe you just did that," she was cackling in laughter. "that was the best thing i have ever seen."

"you think? ooo, what's this?" he finds a muggle boom box, but neither of them know what it is. he presses a button, and it begins to play music. "AH!" he screams.

"you know remus lupin, my brother's friend, he told me it's a book bomb or something," she tells him.

"a book bomb, that's a very odd name because it doesn't look like a book or a bomb, my mum told me muggles are scum, but merlins beard, this is cool," he said examining it.

"yeah remus gave it to me."

"wowwww," regulus kept staring at it.

"shall we dance?" she asks him, putting out a hand helping him after he fell off the bed.

"that would be nice."

everything went back to reality as her friend begins talking.

"but are you sure?" loren asks them once more.

elizabeth could tell loren was scared of losing her friend. and she couldn't blame her. she knew deep down it was impossible to make it out unharmed - maybe even impossible to come out alive. obviously she didn't want to believe that, but it was true.

"yes, loren," regulus tells her. "we'll be fine."
