{ what's wrong with him?} arcade

Narrator

The room was full of lights and bright coloured lasers that made the room more so have a neon glow to it, if you wore white you glowed a blue, if you wore a neon green you glowed.

The group was surprisingly all getting along, even Mira was putting  up with them.

But Abby?

He didn't feel like he could be there, every conversation felt like a thudding in his head, the colours all surrounding him made his eyes ache, he was too busy in his own head, thinking, overthinking in fact, but of course he'd never say anything.

Baby was in the corner challenging romance to the shooting game where you had to shoot the water into the little whole in the fastest time

Mystery was at the claw  game where you could try to get stuffed animals but he kept failing every time

And jinu was flirting back and forth with Rumi BIG TIME

Until Zoey came and yanked Rumi away with Mira "sorry jinu need her" Zoey said with a smile before pulling Rumi away

Jinu chuckled and then glanced at Abby who would usually laugh at those kind of things or be off challenging romance or baby to a game but he was just sitting there silent -he was never just silent-

"Can you believe it totally stole my thunder" jinu broke the silence trying to make Abby laugh but nothing

Nothing but a small smile and then it faded quick -to quick-

Jinu watched Abby for a second longer before speaking again "okay don't lie" he spoke in a 'I know your lying voice'

"Hm?" Abby asked his head going upwards to look at jinu

"What's wrong man.." jinu asked his eyes soft and his expression genuinely wanting to know

Abby shook his head fast -too fast- as if he didn't even have to think about his reaction "nothing I'm good.. you know having fun" he said his voice forcefully happy

Jinu raised an eye brow "come on I know you" he said gently "what's going on?" He asked searching Abby's eyes

Abby looked at jinu and was about to speak but changed his mind and stood up fast "I'm gonna head back to the room" he said avoiding the question.

Jinu blinked rapidly confused and then called out "what?"

Abby just threw a smile over his shoulder still walking away until pushing the doors open to get back to the hall way that would lead to the room.

Jinu sat there thinking about what just happened this wasn't like him, at all Abby was the life of the party everyone knew that, something was wrong

His thoughts were interrupted when romance sat down fast "what's his problem" romance spoke clearly meaning for Abby

Jinu shook his head and looked at romance "I don't know" he muttered

Romance looked at jinu and a flash of concern on his face as he looked at the door he exited out of then back at jinu "well maybe he's just tired" he said trying to think of a answer

Jinu nodded and bite the inside of his cheek "yeah maybe"

Just then they stood up and went over to the games and they played all sorts of the games challenging each other as the night went on.

Mira was at a game trying to win and then she felt a presence over her shoulder and she closed her eyes annoyed as she could already sense who it was

Romance

"You seem to really wanna win" romance spoke stating the fact not questioning it with a low chuckle

"Yep" Mira answered her words short before putting the water gun down and trying to walk away

Romance then blinked confused and followed after her "when are you gonna stop avoiding  me" he asked with a smug grin

"When you stop being annoying" Mira answered back with a cocky smile "oh which is never" she added then looked away again walking

Romance gasped dramatically and put a hand to his heart "breaking my heart you know?" He stated with a smirk

"Hm well maybe it deserves to be broken more often" Mira answered still walking away

Romance chuckled and then stood in front of her so she couldn't keep walking

Mira sighed annoyed and then moved to the side but so did he and then the other side and he followed and she made a very annoyed face "move" she said coldly

Romance smirked and shook his head clearly pleased he's getting under her skin "no thanks" he answers smugly

"Well here's your answer" Mira said "this is exactly why I avoid you" she said coldly before turning her back and walking the opposite direction

Romance stood still for a moment his eyes lowered and then he watched her walk away and he then was confused 'why is she so intense?'
