{don't leave me again} Rumi x Jinu

Narrator

As dinner carried on and the food was starting to get smaller and smaller the clock hit 11:35 pm and the table was starting to get tired.

They all parted ways going into their own separate hotel rooms and with the Saja boys barely speaking to the girls it was awkward.

Jinu and rumi stole a glance before separating into their separate groups and the girls had to walk down a hall to get to their room

Zoey groaned "I'm so full I could pass out" she said her voice stiff

Mira nodded a hand on her stomach "never... eating.... again" she groaned out

Zoey raised an eye brow, "liar you'll be eating tomorrow"

Mira rolled her eyes then shrugged "true"

Rumi just laughed but it didn't sound genuine like as if there was something on her mind... or someone.

Zoey and Mira were still bickering back and forth and Rumi then stopped.

"You guys go ahead..." Rumi then looked behind her. "I'm gonna go check out the arcade" she said pointing down the hall at the door that said 'arcade'

Zoeys eyes lit up, "fun! Can I co-" she then stopped herself from talking as her stomach felt upset again. "Yeah never mind"

Mira just raised an eye brow "at this time?"

Rumi nodded and swallowed hard "not tired"

Zoey nodded not thinking anything of it and practically skipping the opposite way to the room.

Mira however

Mira just looked at Rumi studying her knowing that it wasn't just a 'not tired' reason there was something more, "alright" she said letting it go before flashing a smile and following Zoey

Rumi then sighed of relief and then turned away and walked down the hall and just as she was about to open the door to the arcade room she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Rumi" a voice spoke soft and gentle almost as if a whisper but firm enough to be heard.

Rumi turned around and there he was.

Jinu.

Rumi blinked rapidly trying to make sure she wasn't dreaming and then she swallowed and nodded, "hey.." she said soft.

Jinu then looked at his hand on her shoulder and pulled it away fast and his face went a shade of pink and he stammered, "h-h- hi - uh" he rambled.

Rumi just chuckled and watched him try to get his words together.

"What are you uh doing?" Jinu finally stammered out.

Rumi looked at him then at the door she was still holding and pointed up to the word that said 'arcade' at the top, "just checking out the arcade"

Jinu blinked and then looked at her finger pointing to the words and then he looked back at her and muttered to himself  "stupid"

Rumi raised an eye brow, "pardon?"

Jinu put his hand up and shook his head, "no no not you"

Rumi looked even more confused and chuckled awkwardly "t-the door?" She questioned

"No no god no!" Jinu said quick

Rumi then chuckled and nodded and the room went silent an awkward silence that wasn't awkward at all, sort of peaceful, like their presence was just enough.

Finally Rumi broke the silence "uh okay well I'm gonna go check it out" she said

Jinu nodded and then shook his head "do you wanna go for a walk instead?" He asked his expression uncertain.

"A- a walk?" Rumi asked her voice shaky slightly

Jinu nodded and looked around "yeah just around the halls, I feel there's some things I should explain to ... you" he said his voice soft at the 'you'

Rumi looked around and then at the door she was holding and then nodded and let go, "yeah sure.."

Jinu nodded and they then began to walk and it was silent the only sound was their footsteps clinking onto the shiny glass floor, and the occasional clank of the wind against the windows rattling them slightly.

They walked until they were down a hall where there was no rooms, no doors, no seats, just them.

"Rumi" jinu broke the silence and turned and looked at her as he locked eyes with her

Rumi blinked and nodded her expression calm but nervous until she couldn't handle it anymore, "why are you acting like this is normal!" She blurted out loud

Jinu looked at her stunned at first and then he swallowed hard, "Rumi.." he said in a soft whisper.

Rumi shook her head and looked at him, "no you died!" She said then blinked rapidly, "and now your back acting like this is normal.." she lowered her voice and made a hand movement that pointed between the two of them, "that this is normal" she said softly

Jinu looked at her and then her hand and then back up at her again, "this isn't normal..." he said quiet, "but I can't help but feel it's for a reason"

Rumi looked at him confused, "a reason?"

Jinu nodded and stepped closer their bodies almost touching, "think about it, what are the chances im saved, we become humans, get invited here, and your here" he said the last part quiet

Rumi breath caught in her throat as she saw the closeness, "I missed you" she said softly and gently, "I needed you..." she continued

Jinus eyes softened and he hesitated for a moment before placing his hand on her cheek firmly, "I know..." he said gently, "I missed you too Rumi..."

Rumi blinked rapidly as his hand touched her skin and she then placed her hand over his that was on her cheek, "don't leave me again" she said quiet barley audible

Jinu shook his head immediately and his eyes went down to her lips then her eyes again, "I won't" he said firmly like it was more a promise then a swear.

Rumi let out a small smile and she nodded, "good..."

The silence then fell between them with jinus hand still on Rumis cheek  and rubbing soft little circles with his thumb..

"I should get back..." Rumi said softly looking at him and gently moving his hand from her face.

Jinu nodded and lowered his hand, "yeah yeah I should too..." he said in a way like he didn't wanna go

Rumi smiled and nodded and then began to walk away.

"Goodnight Rumi!" Jinu called out softly

Rumi turned around and looked at him when she heard his voice, "goodnight jinu.." she smiled and continued to walk.
