"Dad, is it for the company?" her father lowered his head and nodded sadly "it's okay, I know the situation right now, and...I am ready" his father looked up at her and cupped her face "You've really grown up my child," he said smiling as y/n hugged him. she knew taehyung was a mafia but always thought of him as a good person but nobody knew the real-life he was living.

him skipping meals for work, killing tens of people a day, never taking care of himself, bringing sluts home for one-night stands, and killing them the next morning. his whole life was a mess, his only family, his mother always tried to change him but he always acted all fine in front of her which she knew he was acting.

his father's death was such a big shock for him that he even started doing drugs at a time but his mom saved him from being addicted to them. his mother was in search of a grown-up mature woman to take care of him and change him, but couldn't find anyone until she heard about y/n.

nobody could resist her beauty, her mindset, her intelligence, such maturity at this age was what made taehyung's mom think that she was the one for him. she already convinced taehyung and he can do anything for his mom so he said yes and y/n could do anything for her dad so she came to the conclusion of agreeing to the marriage.

"let's just choose something simple 'cause we'll be divorced in a year or something," Y/n said to yeji who was one of her college friends as her eyes widened

"waee!?" yeji almost yelled at her "we're just getting married for my dad's company's sake yeji," Y/n told her but she just couldn't accept the freaking fact "I know it's an arranged marriage but don't you think you'll fall for taehyung in a year? and even he can't resist your beauty right?"

"he's a mafia yeji, and I'm not even interested in boys, they're all jerks," Y/n told yeji and got inside the mall leaving yeji behind "Yah! wait for me Y/n!" yeji yelled as she ran to y/n "then let's make a bet!" yeji said, "what kind of bet?"

"if you both don't fall for each other and get divorced easily in a year, I'll treat you at your favorite cafe for 2- no, 3 weeks!" yeji said smirking but she saw a wider smirk grew on y/n's face "bet, and if I lose, I'll talk to yeonjun for you and tell him to date you"

the moment y/n said this, yeji smiled unconsciously and blushed slightly after hearing his name. "I love you" yeji hugged Y/n "only if I lose girl~"

"Y/n look at this!!" Yeji yelled as Y/n went to her "What do you think about this dress??"

"Oh god." y/n said "why? isn't it beautiful??" yeji asked pouting "c'mon it's not my real wedding! take it simple. hold up....'look-at-that-thing-," y/n said as they both went to where y/n was pointing.

"but-" y/n cut her off "it is the best! we're buying this, let's go" y/n held the dress and went to the counter "aish" yeji sighed and went to the counter too. 'nevermind, she looks like a goddess in every dress, to be honest,' yeji thought smiling fondly at her best friend.
