HYDRA ( part 2)

( Ava's pov)

"This is it?" Steve asks "the file came from these coordinates." Natasha answers. "So did I." Steve replies as he looks beyond the gate. As we walk through the camp looking for the exact coordinates Steve says "this camp is where I was trained." "Change much?" Natasha asks "a little." he replies as he stops in front of a flag pole.

I notice him have a flashback and watch him drift off into thought until we're both snapped out of it by Natasha. "This is a dead end. Zero heat signatures, zero waves. not even radio." "Whoever wrote the file might have used a router to throw percent off." I add. We both notice Steve starring at something behind us. "What is it?" We ask. We follow him over to this triangle like building.

"Army regulation forbids storing ammunition within five hundred yards of the barracks... This building's in the wrong place." Steve tells us. When we approach the door he be rakes the lock with his shield and we go in. Steve hits the lights and we discover that this building used to be a shield base. "This is shield." Natasha states. "No shit sherlock." I say with fascination as I look around the room.

Steve looks at me "what?" I say and brush it off. "It may be where it started." Steve says avoiding the subject. We walks around inspecting the place until we enter a room with a series of pictures hanging on the wall. "There's Starks father." Natasha says. I examine the pictures as well and say " and Peggy Carter!" I say in awe. They both give me curiosity looks however Steve has a hint of sadness in his eyes that he's trying to hide. "What? I've looked up to her for as long as I can remember." I explain.

"Really?" Natasha asks. "yeah. Not only was she a founder of shield, she was in the army in the nineteen forties. she showed people that not only can women do anything a man can do, but showed we could kick some ass while doing it." I continue.

It's silent for a second. Did I say something wrong? "Ok, let's find the source of that file." I say breaking the awkward silence.
