Chapter III: International Shopping Saturday

Pillow's P.O.V:

"Yawn~"

Oh right. She's still sleeping. I told her to sleep in my room, but oh well. I let her sleep in while I went to do my morning duties such as brushing my teeth, washing my face, combing my hair, taking a shower, and putting on some sensible clothing for the day. I've decided on a white turtleneck with a denim skirt and black leggings.

(A.N: I tried my best with a quick sketch :'D. I sware I don't draw like this!)

After picking an outfit, I walked to the kitchen and very quickly (And quietly) made some breakfast. Every now and then, I check to see if Book was awake, and every time I do, she's fast asleep.

"Did she not sleep well last night?" I asked myself. Well, I mean she did come here around 2AM I think. But I checked on her last night, so what woke her up?

A dream? Nightmare? I wish I could help her, something's not right...

5 minutes later, the eggs and pancakes were ready! I turned my head to see if Book was awake, and-

"Good morning, sleepy head!"

Book's P.O.V:

"Good morning, sleepy head!" I woke up feeling groggy. "M-Morning," I greeted. "O-Oh, Book? What happened to your voice? It sounds...different-ish?" "Nothing to worry about, it's just a morning voice, I think,"

"You think?" "Yeah, I don't talk a lot in the mornings, so how should I know what my voice sounds like?" "Hmm, true."

I noticed Pillow made some eggs and pancakes. I'm surprised she didn't burn them.

"Where are you going?" She asked. "Oh, I need to freshen up for a bit."

"Hurry then, breakfast will be cold."

"Okay!"

I plopped in a checkered themed vest with ripped jeans and red sneakers. I kept my white T-Shirt underneath, and combed my hair a bit.

I properly greeted my girlfriend after freshening up a bit, and devoured the tasty breakfast she made. She's a great cook! Better than I can that's for sure!

"So, any plans for today?" I asked mouth full, feeling interested.

"Hmm, yeah. First, there's a community party coming up at 7pm, so we have to get ready. Second, we need to go grocery shopping. Third and finally, we have to visit Death Pact Again for a surprise party."

"Wait- for who?"

"Fanny. Her birthday is next week, so DPA and Bubble need all the help they can get."

"Doesn't she hate everything?"

"She won't if Bubble is there~"

"Oh...OH! I GET IT 🤣!! I'm so excited!" I finished my breakfast! I snatched my keys out of my bag and made it to shotgun before Pillow could catch up!

"Aww man!" Pillow bummed "Sorry 'Lowy! Maybe next time!" I advocated as she sat next to me. "Book?" "Yeah?" "Really? 'Lowy?" "What~? It's a cute nickname, 'Lowy!" "W-Whatever" Pillow scoffed. I giggled at her reaction, she's a cute little 'Lowy.

I drove to our local grocery store, parked my car, grabbed a shopping cart, and followed Pillow around. She had the list on her phone and directed me on where to go and what items she needed. And we spotted-

"Hey Fanny and Bubble!" I greeted the blue-colored couple. "Hoi, Book! Hoi Pillow! How are yoiu?" "We're good thanks! How about you, Fanny?" "I-I'm fine." "You sure, you seem a little...down." "Trust me, Pillow. I'm okay, really!" Fanny walked to the fruits section, out of hearing range.

"Don't worrioy about her, she joist having a bad doiy."

Bubble reassured us and catched up to Fanny.

50 minutes of shopping later, and we're finally done! I didn't know ONE person needs over 80+ items. "Ready to check out?" "Yep!"

Huh. Who would have thought?

"Find everything ok- Oh! Hello Book and Pillow! Nice to see you guys again!" "Hey Bomby! You work here?" "Part-time. I actually work at Ruby's Jewelry Parlor downtown!" "Cool!" "Okie-dokie! That'll be $2,763.00!" "Can I use my membership?"

"Of course Pillow! Now your new price is $2,542.00!" Pillow pays using her debit card, and I put our groceries. "Thanks for shopping, and I'll see you at the community party later tonight!"

"Bye Bomby!"

We placed all the groceries in the back truck and dropped them off at Pillow's home. (Don't worry, we put the majority of the food in the fridge) Next up! Death Pact Again secret meeting! Turns out we're going to meet them in Bottle's place, since her house is the only one Fanny doesn't know for some reason.
