chapter 17

Tris' POV

I stayed in the hospital to say one goodbye to Tobias before they took him off of life support, but I woke up late, after the time they were taking him off. I didn't get to say goodbye. I get my self up and go to his room, even if I couldn't see him alive one last time I can still see him. I walk in to his room and he's not there. I run over to his bed and cry, and cry until I hear a voice behind me. "What did that bed do to upset you, cause I will kill it" I must be going mental because it sounded like Tobias. I turn around and see the one person I thought I would never see again. "TOBIAS!" He smiles and I go and give him the biggest hug in the world. We're both crying with joy and I continue to hug him, and hug him. "Oh my God, i thought you were dead, don't ever leave me!! please!"  I cry. "I'm sorry Tris, I woke up last night at around midnight, and about an hour ago they said I could get up and walk around, I didn't realise you were here, I will never leave you ever! I love you too much, against all odds my heart just wouldn't let go of you. I love you so much Tris." we just sit and hug, and kiss, and cry for about half an hour. "I should cal the others, they think you're dead too." he nods. I take out my phone and decide to text hem because I don't want to have to ring all of them.

yeah, can everyone come to the hospital?-T

i put my phone down. "did you tell them?" asks Tobias. "no, I want it to be a surprise, I know its mean to keep them unhapy but its not something to text" he laughs. "I'm ona be crushed by hugs aren't I?" we both start laughing. I go into the waiting room and wait for the others, I'm smiling. they arrive and come and hug me. "Tris, why are you smiling?" asks Zeke. I laugh. "Tris...?" says Chris. "HE ONLY WENT AND WOKE UP!!" I shout. They all look at me, and when what I said sinks in they burst out into smiles. "Oh my god!" they all shout, we start sprinting down the hall way and burst in to Tobias holding a pillow out in front of him. "please don't kill me!" "are you sure you're not a ghost?" asks uriah, trust Uriah. "come and see" he replies holding out his arms, still with the pillow. everyone runs up and hugs him, and we're all crying. "this calls for a party! can you come home mate?" asks Zeke. "yep!" we all cheer. "truth or dare at my place tonight!" calls Zeke. there's a chorus of I'll be theres and greats. I call my mum and ask her to bring some of Caleb's clothes for Tobias. She almost screamed when she found out he was awake. Although she barely knew him, she had tken a great liking to Tobias. She arrived in fifteen minutes and hugged Tobias. "oh, I'm sorry I 've known yo for four months longer than you have known me, Tris has been telling me all about you." she says. He takes the clothes and thanks her, and heads into the bathroom. He comes out five minutes later and we all head home.

HAHAHAHAHA IM NOT THAT EVIL, I WOULDN'T KILL A MAIN CHARACTER THIS EARLY IN THE STORY!
