Chapter 27

07:40, 8 April 2018

As time goes on, I can feel the baby getting bigger. I've been having nightmares about Allan.

I can see him running as arrows fly past him. But he's not fast enough. An arrow hit him and Allan falls. He tries to crawl, but he can't.

Allan would shake me awake because I would cry and scream in my sleep.

At some point I will have to stop running around and fighting with the boys.

Guy became one of us and John didn't fight it.   I waited at the camp while the boys went out and stopped one of Isabella's guards. I decided to cook breakfast for when they return. But they didn't return. Instead, Allan came, alone.

"Sirena, we have to get to Locksley. The Sheriff is taking men for an army." Allan said, grabbing some weapons.

I jumped up and grabbed my daggers. Then we fast walked to Locksley.

There were guards chasing the men. So we ran in to save them. No one was taken. We took the men to Sherwood.

Walking behind Allan I started giggle. I'm not sure why I started to giggle. I think it has to do with the way Allan walked and the way his butt looked.

Allan fell back, next to me. "What are you laughing at?" He questioned with a confused look on his handsome face.

"Nothing." I said with a smirk.

"Shall I give you a reason to laugh?" Allan smoothly said, pulling me to him. His fingers danced over my body.

"No." I whined, pushing him away. "You cannot tickle me..."

Allan came closer. "I can and I think I will."

"No." I started to jog away until I bumped into someone. I almost fell down, but Allan caught me. Looking up, I saw Guy. He was standing there with a cold look on his face. "I'm so sorry, Guy."

"No, my apologies. I could have moved when I saw you coming." His voice still hard sounding, but hi face seemed softer then before.

If Allan wasn't in my life or the father of the baby inside me, I'd fall for Guy. I'd follow him to the end of the earth.

"Let's go, dear." Allan said, holding my hand.

●●●●

It started to faintly rain, which sometimes makes the walking difficult.

I grabbed Allan's hand and started to swing my arm. "We should travel to Bradford or maybe Bakewell." I suggested.

"Hmm. Bakewell sounds nice." Allan replied.

Did that cute thing, where we both lean in and make cute faces at each other. Then he kissed my nose.

At the camp, I hid under the bunk beds to stay dry. Allan came over and wrapped a blanket around me.

"We take the castle." Robin said with a glum look on his face. "We claim it under King Richard. We put Isabella under house arrest. We release the supplies. We release the men. And we hold that castle till King Richard returns." Robin explained.

"We can't take a castle." Much said, bursting Robin's bubble.

"We can if we go down the tunnel." Guy imformed.

Everyone looked over at him.

"When the old Sheriff returned from his failed mission in the Holy Land, he became paranoid about repercussions, so be built an escape route. A tunnel." Guy explained, coming over to the circle of men. He pulled out his sword and started to draw a diagram. "The diggers were silenced. I made sure of that. So no one else knows about the tunnel, especially not Isabella." Guy points at an spot of his drawing. "It starts here, in a derelict churchyard outside the west gate, and it leads directly into the heart of the castle." Guy drags his sword and then stabs it into the ground. "I say we go down the tunnel, we seize Isabella, and we force her to dismiss her guards. If we take Isabella, we take the castle."

I stood up and looked at Guy. "That's a good plan."

"It is. If we time the break-in to coincide with the supply train leaving, most of the guards will be busy with the convoy anyway.

"I'm totally in." I said, patting Gisborne's shoulder. "I wouldn't mind going to my room that lies in the castle."

Robin gave orders to make weapons. Allan and I were told to gather money and melt it down to make arrowheads.

"Can I keep this?" I asked, flipping a coin in my hand.

"Sirena, we have to melt it all down."

I stuck my tongue out as Allan took the coin.

Then Guy came over to help with the melting.

It was funny to watch Allan throw a coin in the pot. When he missed, Guy and I would laugh at him.

"All of this needs to be made into arrowheads." Robin ordered, walking into the camp in a rough manner.

Suddenly John came rushing in and pinned Allan to the wall.

"Traitor!" He yelled. "What did you tell them? Judas!"

"John! Stop!" I shouted, trying to pull him off of Allan.

Then Tuck walked in. "It's all over Nottingham. Allan's been pardoned by the Sheriff for services rendered." Tuck announced.

"Robin!" I whined, when I couldn't pull John off myself.

"John, let him go." Robin ordered.

"Let me speak!" Allan shouted.

John wouldn't let go, instead he started to call Allan names. Tuck and Robin came over and helped me remove John from Allan. He finally let Allan go. I helped Allan stand up as I fixed his hair and stuff.

"I haven't done anything." Allan said, trying to defend himself, but they didn't seem to belive him. "I swear! I haven't betrayed you! Sirena?"

"I know, baby. He's done nothing. Despite what you guys think, Allan is a good man." I told them.

"Yes! Do you guys really not believe it?" His voice was filled with sadness. "So you think I'm a coward? Is that it, yeah? What, that I've..." I could his eyes tear up. "Sold you out to myself somehow, yeah?"

"You've done that before." Much implied.

"I know. And everyday I wish I could take that back. You know that! But I got a family..."

Allan's words make me wanna cry. I want to hold him. I want to love him.

"None of you believe me. I'll be off, then." Allan said, grabbing his bag.

"No. Allan." I softly said.

"You'll tell her about the tunnel." Much shouted.

Allan would never do that. Not without including me.

"Tie him up!" Robin yelled.

John and Tuck grabbed Allan and started to tie him up.

"Robin! No!" I screamed, hitting Robin in the chest.

Robin fought to keep my arms still.

"Don't touch her!" Allan shouted at Robin.

He grabbed my wrists and held them tight. "We can not take the risk. Once we've secured the castle, we will come back and we will sort this out."

"I'm staying here!" I gritted my teeth and pulled myself free from Robin.

"Do NOT untie him." Robin harshly ordered me.

When they left, I ran Allan. I move his hair out of his face.

"You'll be alright. I promise." I started to cry.

"You know I wouldn't betray, right?" Allan questioned, his voice sounding broken.

I looked at him with tears in my eyes. "Of course I do. They just don't know you the way I know you." I started to untie Allan. "You don't deserve this."

"I love you, Sirena."

"I love you too." I put my hands on the sides of Allan's face and looked into his eyes. I stood up on my tippy toes and kissed him.

"We are going to leave and start that family you've always wanted."

We packed our stuff and headed out. I walked behind Allan, listening to him complain about life.

"You guve them the best years of yout life, and for what?!" Allan shouted, pushing branches aside.

Suddenly, there was a high ing of a horse. I grabbed Allan's arm and pulled him down.

"Allan, be quiet." I whispered, putting my finger to his lips.

"We got to get to Robin." Allan said, picking me up, and running.

"I didn't get to see who it was!" I whined. "Set me down! I can run!" I jumped out of his arms.

Allan grabbed my hand and began to run.

Suddenly a sharp pain hit my arm. I screamed in agony. Allan pulled me into the trees.

"Hold still." Allan said before he pulled out the arrow that buried itself in my arm.

I could hear a faint shouting in the distance as I covered my mouth, trying not to scream in pain. "That voice. It sounds like... my father."

"It can't be..."

I looked at Allan. "Unless he survived... Stay here."

I ran out into the open. Guards, dressed in black, surrounding me. A man on a horse approached. I got down on one knee and bowed my head.

"Get up!" The man ordered.

His voice sounded exactly like father.

I stood and looked at him. I could feel my eyes widen. "Father." I breathed.

"Sirena."

It was father. He got down and I ran to him.

"I thought you were dead." I cried.

Father held me tight. "I thought the same of you."

"The arrow was meant to hit Guy. Instead it hit my arm. Robin took me in. They took care of me. Allan took care of me." My words were faint, but they were clear.

Father looked at me confused. "Allan? The boy that worked for Gisborne."

I nodded as two guards threw Allan at own feet.

"Allan." I cried, helping him up.

The guards had pointed their weapons at us.

"Stand down!" Father shouted. "Enlighten me."

I looked at father and held Allan's hand. "Allan was the first man I met when I came to Nottingham. Father, I love him." I put my hand on my stomach. "We married awhile back and I'm pregnant, father. Allan and I plan on leaving this place. To start to a family."

Father gave us a smile. "And I'm happy. You can be happy, once I'm Sheriff again. I'll give you two a safe passage to the place you're going to."

"Thank you, father." I looked at Allan and smiled. "I love this man."

"Ah, yes. Well, here are two horses and enough money to get you started."

Father kicked his horse and trotted off.

"Sirena, what are you doing?" Allan asked in a whisper.

"I am making sure our family is safe! Do you not want that?"

"Of course I do, but that's the old sheriff."

"That's my father. He's letting us have a life of happiness. Allan, we have to take it. For the child. Go to Nottingham and die with the people betrayed you." I scoffed at Allan. "I'm going to save our child." I got onto a horse and rode off.

It wasn't long till Allan was riding next to me.

"I'd never leave my family." Allan shouted over the clapped of the horse hooves.

●●●●●●●●

We didn't look nor turn back to help the people that hated Allan for something he did not do.

We decided to live in Bakewell. A few months after we moved there, the baby came. It was a healthy baby boy. We named Lewis Dale.

A few weeks later, there was word that Nottingham fell, but we didn't pay much attention to that, for we were focused on our family. Allan got a good job, while I stayed home with the baby. We made an honest living. Allan promised me that he wouldn't steal. I also promised.

Allan and I had two move children as the years went by. A boy and a girl, Tommy and Belle. Our three children grew to be beautiful. Allan and I lived a happy life. It was a life that we both wanted. We both thought about Nottingham, but we couldn't speak of it. The whole thing hurt Allan and me. But it was for the best to leave. We lived until our last breathes were taken, ending in happiness.

Just a reminder:

I wrote a book called 'Broken Heart's'. The book is about Guy meeting a girl when he was young.

I hope the people reading this book enjoyed it. This is a book that I enjoyed writing/typing.

I give a big thanks to those who read and liked my book.

And for the record... I cried ALOT the last few episodes of Robin Hood.
