Bad blood- Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar ————————————————————————Lilith had spent days at ash's after they made it official.

The days she spent there were filled with sweet nothings, spending time together, kisses, movies, cuddles and lots of blunt smoking.

Lilith yawned and stretched, waking up to a text on her phone. She picked her phone up and looked at the time. 9:39am.

She sighed and opened her messages, face dropping as soon as she realised it was her mother who'd texted her.

Her and her mum didn't have the most incredible relationship. Growing up, Lilith's mum Ella had forced her to grow up way too fast, constantly reminding Lilith of the fact that nothing in life was forever and that one day Lilith would have the burdens of her families businesses to deal with, and that growing up at a young age would force her to understand the full consequences of being born into this dangerous, unfair world.

She clicked the message, her eyes instantly widening.

Ella.Lilith, me and yo dad have been talkin and we've decided that it's definitely gonna be you inheriting our businesses when we die. We thought about it all early as it's a decision needed to be made now so that we know it's all in good hands when the day comes. Kisses, mom.

Lilith sat, staring at her phone in shock for a solid few minutes before she sat up, throwing the covers off of her and running to the bathroom, lifting the toilet seat up as she threw up.

Fear and stress wracked her body as she heaved, eyes filling with tears but she couldn't figure out whether they were because she was throwing up or because of what she'd just been told.

She always knew this day would come, the day that her parents write her name into the will and decide that she's worthy enough for looking after all their hard work.

But they ran a drugs industry, and her mother had a huge clothing line on the side of that. That was way too much for Lilith to even comprehend, let alone take on. Sure, it was going to be in a few years, not now, but it was still a scary thought for a 15 year old.

Lilith stopped throwing up and flushed the toilet, leaning back against the wall as her head span slightly with the stress her body was experiencing. She pulled her legs up to her chest and buried her face in her knees, feeling a few stray tears roll down her cheeks as she took a few deep breaths to calm herself down.

Brilliant way to start off my day.

She brushed her teeth and left the bathroom after 10 minutes, bumping into fez in the hallway as he looked at her worriedly.

"I heard you throwin up in there kid, all good?" He asked, speaking in a tired morning voice quietly as to not wake ash up in the other room.

"Uh, yeah. I think I just ate something bad last yesterday or something." She chuckled, making him nod a bit.

He could see right through her, he knew she was lying but he didn't want to press her on, especially so early in the morning.

"Alright, well if you need me to like talk to me n shi you know where to find me." He mumbled, before walking past her into the bathroom.

She just nodded and smiled before walking back to ashtrays room, changing into her jeans and one of his sweatshirts before sitting on the edge of his bed, responding to her mums message.

LilithAlright.

————————————The day had gone by really fast, with the same sweet nothings and cuddles as usual, but ash knew something was wrong, lilith holding back from telling him.

They laid on the slanted roof of the shed in the back garden, smoking a blunt together while watching the sunset in front of them while neither of them spoke.

The silence was calm, it was comfortable, but Lilith couldn't help but fidget uncomfortably as her brain ran at 100mph.

Ash was getting tired of her keeping something from her, she knew she could tell him absolutely anything and he hated the fact that she probably didn't feel comfortable enough to tell him whatever she was keeping just yet.

He knew not to press her. Not to push her to tell him, he knew she'd tell him in her own time, but he was a curious kid.

"Shawty, you know I can tell there's something wrong, right?" He said quietly, taking a drag of the raspberry wrapped blunt before handing it back to her.

She shrugged a bit, staring at the blunt for a second before taking a deep drag off of it, and staring in front of her at the sunset.

"If I ask you to do this, you won't question me or get mad or anything right?" She said, looking at him as he furrowed his brows and nodded slightly.

"No promises, but I'll try my best princess. What's up?" He asked, taking the blunt as she passed it back to him.

"I want you to teach me how to be you. You know, with like all the guns and knives and drug deals and shit. I want you to teach me exactly how you do it." She mumbled, making him raise his eyebrows and go speechless for a few minutes.

She didn't press him for an answer, instead just staring in front of her at the sunset as she waited patiently.

"Why do you want to learn all of that all of a sudden?" he asked her, making her sigh before looking at him.

"My mom- she's like. Putting my dads entire drugs business on my shoulders when they both die, so she wants me to know early on. She told me this morning, and it made me realise that I know absolutely nothing about that sort of thing other than how to take the drugs. So, I might as well learn from the best, right?" She said, smiling a bit at him before finishing the blunt off and throwing the roach off somewhere.

"Lils, you realise this is a BIG thing to ask right? It's a huge burden, and once you start learning, there's a lot to take in." He said quietly, moving closer to her and wrapping an arm around her shoulder as she nodded a bit.

"Yeah, I know. I watched my mom and dad deal with it all when I was a kid, I just never got taught firsthand. But now I want to know." She said, looking up at him as he thought for a few seconds.

"Alright, I'll do it. I'll teach you. But you only do shit when I'm with you, and you take it slow at first alright? And you'll be carrying a gun witchu at all times now that you're gonna be coming with me learning this shit firsthand. Ion want you gettin hurt or some shit." He mumbled, pressing a soft kiss to her lips before turning and looking back over the sunset.

He wasn't going to lie, he was nervous about this, and also hesitant and skeptical. But Lilith was her own person, and he knew she'd go to someone else to teach her if he didn't, so he might as well protect her as best he could while he was being given the chance.
