Habits- trove lo————————————————————————Ash and Lilith were sat on FaceTime, talking about anything and everything before ash mentioned seeing her at the store the day beforehand, instantly making her go quiet.

"What's wrong shawty?" He mumbled, making her clear her throat slightly before shrugging.

"Who was- uh- who was that girl, that you left with? She your girlfriend or sum?" She asked quietly, looking down and playing with her nails as ash chuckled slightly at the sight.

"No. Why, you jealous ma?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked back up at him through the screen.

"No, you jus seemed hella comfy wit her is all man." She shrugged, making him scoff a bit.

"Fuck no, she pisses me the fuck off. Plus, why yu care so much if u ain't jealous? We're jus friends, right?" He said, unknown to the fact that those words made her heart drop out her asshole.

"Nah," she said quietly, before grinning at him. "We're best friends." She giggled, making him shake his head and roll his eyes.

"Yeah i 'spose I better be since I spend so much time wit yo annoyin ass." He said quietly, watching closely for her reaction.

She scoffed, shaking her head and flipping him off. "You love me really man." She said before blowing him a kiss through the screen, waving him goodbye and hanging up.

It took a few minutes before a message pinged on her screen, and she grinned reading the text as a blush crossed her face.

Ash❤️Knew yo ass was jealous, blowin me kisses an shi. See u tomorrow at that party ma?

She sighed and giggled, holding her phone to her chest for a second before typing up a quick response and sending it.

—————————————Lilith had spent the past hour or so getting ready for the party, making sure her sparkly makeup looked cute and her dress hugged her body perfectly.

She didn't ever want to admit it, but she knew deep down she liked ash, and she also knew deep down that he was the only reason she was dressing up fully tonight.

She pulled on a cute pair of heels to match her dress, applying a new layer of her coconut lip gloss and smiling in the mirror.

"Bitch what's taking you so long! Our Ubers about to get here!" Maddy yelled up the stairs at Lilith, making the younger girl sigh and grab her phone and pocket knife, shoving them both into her clutch back as she walked downstairs.

Ash, fezco, maddy, Cassie, lexi, rue and kat were all sat in the living room waiting for her, all eyes on her as she walked in.

"Holy shit girl you look hot as fuck! Learning from the best, I see." Maddy giggled, hugging the girl as they heard the beep of a car horn outside.

"Ubers here!" Cassie squealed, hopping up from her seat and rushing outside, everyone following in hot pursuit.

Ash walked over to Lilith, smirking as he leaned over to whisper in her ear while they trailed behind everyone else.

"You look hot ma, a little too hot." He winked before walking away.

Lilith could've sworn she almost fell over as her knees went weak, a deep blush covering her cheeks as she smiled over at rue who was watching the two suspiciously.

Oh, this is gonna be some night. She thought to herself, sitting between Cassie and Lexi in the Uber as it started to drive them to the party.

————————————Lilith was already slightly tipsy as she danced with Cassie and Maddy in the middle of the dance floor, moving her body to the rhythm and smiling as she took a gulp full of her drink.

Unknown to her, ash had been watching her from the other side of the room, not knowing or understanding why he felt like he had to make sure he was okay but doing so anyways.

Ash was never one to drink, always just having small amounts as he hated the sensation of his head spinning and throwing up afterwards. The hangover was definitely the worst part, though.

He watched carefully as some random guy walked over to Lilith and she started to dance with him, her back pushed against the front of him as he held her waist, guiding her every movement to the song.

Maddy and Cassie were watching from the side, laughing and clapping as Lilith moved her body in ways even she wasn't aware she could, enjoying the whole experience as this was all new to her completely.

Ashtray rolled his eyes and walked off, going to get another drink before walking away from the main room towards the bathroom.

Lilith kept dancing with this guy, before the song ended and she turned to him, smiling a bit.

"Thanks for that, it was fun." She panted, nodding her head once to him before turning and starting to walk away.

He suddenly grabbed her hand and spun her around, instantly flashing a red light in her head as she pulled her hand from his hard grip.

"Dude, the fuck u doin?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she backed away a little bit.

"Yo girl, you don't think you owe me some good shit after I let you dance with me like that?" The guy slurred, eyes looking her up and down hungrily as he licked his lips slightly.

Her face contorted with disgust as she shook her head, scoffing. "The fuck man? You think just because I fuckin danced wit you I wanna fuck you? God no, I'm fuckin 16 weirdo." She spat, before going to leave again but he yet again stopped her, this time grabbing her by her waist and pulling her almost fully against him.

"Pretty girls don't get to dance and then walk away like shit isn't owed." He whispered in front of her face. His breath reeked of alcohol and cigarettes, his grip harsh on her waist as she struggled to get out of his grip.

She suddenly remembered the knife in her clutch bag and strategically got it out without him noticing, before holding it up to his throat and smirking.

"I suggest you get yo nasty ass hands off me before I cut your fuckin throat bitch." She said through gritted teeth, grinning evilly at him.

He gulped and loosened his grip, backing away before walking off, leaving her to her own devices again.

She sighed in relief before putting the knife back in her back and walking off to navigate the bathroom.

Fuck I need to pee, she thought while walking down a random hallway. She opened a door, hoping and praying it was the bathroom as she did so.

Her face lit up in excitement to see she had infact found the bathroom, only for her whole heart to drop through the floor at the sight in front of her.

It was ashtray, making out with the same blonde girl from the other day.

Authors note: On a real one ye I acc kinda hate this book and the way it's turning out. I feel like the storyline isn't going anywhere and ofc I'm tryna push it further into the storyline n that but it's so difficult because I've read so many ashtray fanfics and they all seem so amazing compared to this one.
