Ch38
15:37, 19 April 2014**Matthew's Pov**
I reluctantly got off the plane, got my luggage, and drove home.
I missed Delaney so much, already.
I decided to text her.
M- Hey. Miss you already<3
She replied within a couple of minutes.
D- Miss you, too, Matty:*
M- Only two days, counting down the hours, babe.
D- Aww. I love you.
M- I love you.
With that, I turned on the radio to hear a song about missing someone.
I finally pulled up to my house.
"Matthew!" My mom smiled, and hugged me.
"Hey mom!" I said.
"Come on, sit and chat with me! I made some tea!" She sat down in the living room, and poured me a mug of tea.
In an odd way, Delaney reminded me of my mother.
"What was it like? Tell me all about it." She said.
"Well, Magcon was great, so were the fans." I started.
I want to tell her that I'm in love.
"That's great, sweetie." She sipped her tea.
"Mom, I have to tell you something important.." I said.
"Anything." She warmly grinned.
"I'm in love." I blurted.
"What? With who, Matthew?" My mom looked shocked.
"Well, Cameron had a friend, Delaney, and she and her friend Katy stayed with us in the condo, and they went to Magcon, and they are actually part of Magcon now, and we just clicked!" I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
"Matthew, you're 18, plus, I thought you liked Rachel?" She asked.
That wasn't the reaction I wanted.
"Rachel? No!" I laughed.
Rachel was a girl that went to my school. Probably the most stuck up- snobby-white girl you would ever meet.
I had a crush on her last year, and my mom really liked her, and her mom is friends with mine.
Rachel and Delaney are polar opposites.
"Why, you know I like Rachel!" My mom said.
"Well, it's not your choice, and I know that I am in love with Delaney!" My voice raised a bit.
"Matthew, I won't allow it!" She said.
"You haven't even met her!" I yelled.
"Well, I don't like her!" She screamed back.
"Bye!" I said, getting up and walking out of my house, slamming the door behind me.
I got into my car, and drove to the nearest hotel.
As I walked in, I realized how stupid I was being.
Once my mom met Delaney, she would like her.
I got back into my car, and headed home.
When I got back home, I heard chuckles...from my mom, and someone else...
