**Lane's Pov**

"MATTHEW!!" I screamed, as tears ran down my face.

Hayes carried me over to where everyone was sitting, and told me that Taylor had saved Matthew from drowning.

I looked down at Matt, who was laying uncontious on the shore.

He looked lifeless.

"Shhhhh. Laney, It's ok." Taylor held me in his lap with a towel wrapped around me.

"Thank you for saving him, Taylor. He could've died." I cried.

"It's ok. Jack J is doing CPR on him right now. He's a surfer. He knows how to save him, I only got him out of the water in time." Taylor said, and he rubbed my back.

I hugged him tight.

**Matthew's Pov**

I opened my eyes, and started coughing up water.

I wheezed, and rolled over.

"What happened?" I asked, even though I already knew.

"You almost drowned, Buddy." Said Nash, who was next to me.

"Where's Delaney?" I asked, as I sat up.

"I'm right here, baby." She said, as she cried, and kissed my lips softly.

Many tears ran down her face.

"Shhh, it's ok. I'm here." I held her.

"Matty, I could've lost you!" She looked up at me.

I kissed her forehead, and wiped her tears with my thumb.

I held her tight in my arms.

The rest of the group went to go play football or something, but we just stayed here.

I eventually heard her breathing grow steadier and she was asleep. In my arms.

I smiled, and thanked God for her.
