Flashback: Year: 2008~ (5 months before breakup)

"Ya regrese!" My boyfriend yells from downstairs. I run down the stairs and jump into my boyfriends arms. "Te extrañe bien mucho" I say because even if he was only gone for 6 hours I still missed him. I give him a kiss and climb down from him.

"Let's go eat im starving" I say dragging him into the kitchen. "What you want for dinner tonight?" He asks putting the apron on. Memo is the cook in the house. "Give me your best meal made of what we have" i say knowing he can make just about anything. "Coming right up miss" He says as he bows, I couldn't help but laugh at my dumb boyfriend.

"Mańana tengo una audition para "Las Mentiras del Amor" (not real) y estoy bien nerviosa" I say as im sitting down. "Don't be nervous you're gonna do amazing like always" He says rubbing my back. "You always do amazing and as long as you give your best you will get the role" His words do help me relax a bit. We start eating and I ask "Come with me tomorrow, I'm too scared". "If you want me to I will" He says giving me a soft smile.

I always felt more secure and comfortable when memo was around. He was like my security blanket. It felt nice to have someone who takes care of me and loves me like I love them.

End of flashback: ~Present time:Year: 2010

Today I have a movie premiere for "Las Mentiras del Amor". I remember memo being so exited when I got the part. He was so happy for me because he knew how much I wanted it. I do not know who is attending but it's usually the same celebrities. Im not sure if he is going but I don't except him to be there. It's sad that it didn't turn out how we wanted.

I'm trying not to think about it because it's just going to ruin my night. I was getting my makeup done when my friend Bruna walks in. I'm bringing Bruna as my plus one (Bruna is older in this book). "Ayyy qué onda? You almost ready?" She says with a bunch of energy which is just what I need. "Almost just need lashes" i say looking up at her. "Damm who let you look this fine" I say looking her up and down cuz damm she's fine as fuck. She gives me model poses then laughs. "I love you" she says while sitting in the chair next to mine.

"I'm so excited for the premiere. Cant wait to see you fucking it up on the red carpet" She says and I laugh. She always knows what to say. "You better walk with me" I say giving her a pleaseee look. "Noooo, this is all about you mama" she says with a sorry not sorry look. "Ugh, fine but you better be right behind me" "yes mam" she says giving me a 🫡. We just talked and laughed until it was time to go.

We got dressed into our outfits for the night. I was wearing a 90s chanel dress and bruna was wearing a black square front dress with the back cut out.

"Damm we look fine asf" Bruna says while we're taking mirror pics. "We're too fine" i respond admiring us.

"Let's go the car is ready!" My mangers says as he open the door to our room. We walk downstairs and are met by paparazzi. We drove to the premiere and i got out of the car first because the red carpet started outside of the door. "VALENTINA PARA AQA" a photographer yells at me. I look at him and then was blinded. I look back for bruna as she's walking out of the car. "BRUNA QUE HERMOSA" Another photographer yells. They didn't lie.

We walked into the center of the red carpet and bruna walked it and waited for me at the end. I stopped to be photographed and then Interviewed. "Quien es tu favorito de tus co-stars?" Asked one reporter. "Todos son los mejores, pero William Levy. Nomas porque siempre es bien lindo y on que pase algo malo siempre hace lo mejor de la situación ." I respond.

I got the next interviewer. "Por quien vas para la Copa Mundial?" "Mexico obviamente" i say proud about being Mexican. "Cual es tu favorito jugador?" He says like he's waiting for a certain answer. Once I realized where this was going I , con tinplated giving him the answer he wanted. "Hmmm, Medina" I say knowing I didn't give him what he wanted. "Y Ochoa?" I froze. "Ah si......el también." I answer obviously uncomfortable. "Y todavía son amigos después de su cebra?" I look over at my manager and he quickly comes over. "Oh perdón pero es tiempo para otros reporteros." He says and pulls me always with him. "Perdón" I say and I smile to the interviewer as I walk away. Why would they ask that? Fuck that gotta do with my movie?

I walk over to bruna and tell her what just happened. "Pinche puto" she says annoyed. "No saben respetar" i agree with her.

I am forced to go talk to more interviewers which I love doing but that ruined it. I tried to Roger about and went back.

I finished another interview and was walking towards another one when the cameras started flashing like crazy and not towards me. I look to me right to see no other then the Guillermo Ochoa. I look over at my manager who tells me to stay where I am, so I do. I'm talking with another interviewer as he's walking down the carpet, getting closer and CLOSER to me. I start panicking and try not to show it.

As if this couldn't get even worse the interviewer calls out for him. "Ochoa para aqa" memo is very respectful and he stops for everyone who calls his name. OF COURSE HE DOES. He kinda hesitated at first but he walks over. I start panicking and I'm pretty sure it's obvious.

"Hola, Valentina" He says. HE IS GOING IN FOR A HUG OMGFH WTF DO I DO. I hug him back and when he's squeezes me I almost melted. Dammn this is all I'm gonna think about for the next year. I almost cried when he said my name. "Hola" i respond with a smile trying to hide my actual emotions. "Como te gustó la película memo?" Ask the interviewer. "Ah no lo a visto pero la escritura me dice que va estar buena" he says and smiles. UGH he's so cute I'm gonna cry. Worst part is 1000 camera we're filming and flashing at us while this was happening.

"Te veo al rato, tengo que ir me." He says with his soft smile. Why did this have to happen. He walks away and bruna is giving me THAT look. I give her a LOOK too. "Como fue viendo a memo?" The interviewer says snapping me out of my thoughts. "Ah si, muy bien" I say softly.

Once the Interviewer was over I do a couple more interviews and then walk over to bruna. "Wtf vale, did that really just happen?" She asked kinda surprised. "I honestly don't know, he was talking like we speak everyday" i say kinda mad he just acts like nothing happened but I guess the cameras were watching.

We just walk into the movie theater because that was trippy. The movie begins and once it's finished we have an after party. It's better because it's private and it means no cameras. We changed into some black dresses that were more comfortable for the party.

We walked into the after party and immediately were dancing to the msuic having fun. We were up at the dj booth with evryone having fun. I see memo in the corner of my eye. God he looks fine. The party lights flashing on him. AHHHH. I honestly don't want to think about him because it will ruin my night. Me and bruna take 2 shots each.

"Para Arriba, para abajo, pa dentrooo" We say really hyped up. We got so in the mood and we're fucking it up on the dance floor. I could see memo starring at me so hard core but I ignored it. I took another shot and it took me out. "Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay" bruna hyped me up and we're dancing on each other. I spin her around and we start dancing even more. "Dale WOOO" I hype her up as she's flowing down.

We go back to the bar and are standing around when i see memo come up and he's standing across from me. He gives me a look and then looks to a corner. I wasn't 100% sure if he was signaling me or not. He waves his hand for me to go to him. I give in and tell bruna imma go talk to memo. "Ten cuidado" she says and kisses me on the cheek for good luck. She winks at me as she walks away.

I walk over to memo and follow him into a more private corner. "How have you been?" He says into my ear as the music is really loud. "As good as i can be" I say "Why do you need to talk to me?" I ask wanting one answer only but it's lost hope at this point. "Just want to say hi" he says and i get bummed but why did I expect. "Te ves bien guapa en ese vestido." He says and even tho it's dark I can see him grin. His words make me melttttt. "I would hope so" I say acting like he had no effect on me at all.

"Congratulations on the part, I know how much you wanted this" he says and it made me feel safe. "Thank you, and thank you for helping me out" I say thanking him for reviewing lines with me and playing the male lead when we practiced lines. "Was I better then William levy? I think I was" I laugh at his comment. "Hmmm, maybe"I reply knowing he won't like that answer "Of course I'm better then him" he says with a proud face.

"So, how have you been. Anything new?" I ask because it got silent. "Not much just same old same old." "What? You're playing in the World Cup again thats huge" I say getting exited at the end of my sentence. "Yeah, are you gonna go to our game when we win?" He says. "Maybe, if you invite me." I laugh. "You already know I got you front row for good luck." 🤭🤭🤭🤭 "then I'll be there" "yeah you better" "Don't ghost me and we'll see" I say lowkey throwing shade on him not speaking to me in almost a year. "Chale, no se que Desirtee. Pero, eso va a cambiar" He says in my ear while he grabs my waist. I died for a second but then came back to life. "Yeah okay" I say not believing him. "Just watch" he winks.

This conversation had sobered me up and I wanted to go home now. I walk over and sit in a corner by myself. Bruna was with Neymar dancing and i didn't wanna leave her so I was waiting around for her. "Necesitas un raite?" Memo says in my ear. I kinda jumped because he scared me. "I cant, have to wait" "I can bet money THEYRE going home togehter" he's probably right.

I walk up to a very drunk bruna. "Hey are you lesving with junior tonight" I say with a yk tone."Haha maybe" she says in my ear. "Okay imma go now, I'll see you later" I say "wait who are you going with?" She says making sure I don't go with a stranger. "Memo" I say kinda embarrassed "damm looks like we both getting some tonight" She says with a wink "Nah it's not like that" I say wishing I was lying. "Me when I lie" she says laughing. "I wish but im gonna go okay. I'll see you Later y tu you better keep her safe" I say turning my look at Neymar. "I got you" he says while dabbing me up. I know I can sleep peacefully because he's not lying. "Bye i lvoe you" I say and hug bruna.

I walk back to memo who was waiting for me. I look over at him and before going to him I take two shots real quick because it's the only way I'll survive this car ride. I look back at memo and he laughs. I walk up to him. "You ready?" "Always" I say and we walk out of the party.
