Mourning & Bad dreams

Jenny's POV

It couldn't of happened. This is all a dream. There's no way this is real. Sean and Allison aren't dead, they can't be. Maybe if I close my eyes I'll wake and I'll be in my bed and I'll smell the chocolate chip pancakes that Sean makes on the weekends and than we'll sit around the house and just relax and watch tv for the whole day. We'll watch horror movies and make fun of the main characters and point out what they're doing wrong.

        " Jenny?"

I look up and look at Agent McCall and Sheriff Stilinski who look worried.

" Yeah sorry, can you repeat the question?", I ask

" Do you know anything that could help us find out who killed your brother or Allison?"

I shake my head. " Can I please leave? I really just want to be left alone."

" Of course Jenny. Do you want me to call stiles to give you a ride home?", Sheriff Stilinski asks concernedly.

" No I'll just take the bus home but thank you", I say before walking out of the Sheriff station.

After the long bus ride I finally make it to my house. I open the door to the now lonely house.

        "Jenny!", I hear someone yell.

I look at who called my name. I see no one at first but then I see two figures start to walk to me.

" Sean! Allison! You're here.", I say running to them and giving them a hug.

They push me off them. I look at them confusingly.

" You killed us! We could've lived if it wasn't for you!", they yell in unison

" No I tried to save you, I told my dad to take my life instead of yours. I tried."

" Well you didn't try hard enough did you. I never liked you anyways. That's why I left so I could get away from you. I could've lived because I was on dad's good side but you had to fuck it up!", yells Sean.

" You know I tried to be nice to you, but god you are so annoying! You always needed some kind of attention. That's why Stiles cheated on you. He doesn't love you and he won't ever love you, so deal with it. You never cared about anyone but yourself, it always had to be about you.", said Allison

" I cared about all of you so much. Allison why do you think these things?", I ask wiping away some tears.

" Oh my god there she goes again with the crying. You say you're tough and all but all I see is you constantly crying all the fucking time", says Sean.

" It's your fault. You killed us", they say in unison.

        " No. No I didn't."

" It's all your fault.", they say again.

        " Stop!", I yell.

        " Jenny!"

I look at who called my name and it was Stiles.

        " Where am I?", I ask confusingly.

" You're at my house", says Stiles.

        " Why?", I ask.

" I went over to your house to check on you. The door was open, so I went inside and I saw you on the ground yelling and screaming in your sleep", Stiles explains.

        " Take me home."

        " What?"

"I said take me home", I demand.

" Okay I will.", mumbles Stiles.

We get into the jeep and take the quiet journey back to my house. I look at the window to pass the time. I never noticed until now how pretty Beacon hills was at night. I must have been always worried what would happen next or trying to figure out something that I never slowed down and noticed the scenery. Like how the trees were always full with leaves and that the tops of the branches could practically touch the moon or how the sky is usually filled with billions of stars now only has two twinkling stars to accompany the moon in the lonely night.

" It's beautiful out here.", I say breaking the silence.

" Yeah it is isn't it", says Stiles with a smile.

" Let's stop and enjoy the view than", I say.

Stiles pulls over and we get out of the jeep and start our journey into the unknown.

Stiles's POV

We walk through the woods just looking at the view. It was nice doing something calm especially what just happened. I feel bad for Jenny she has no family now. I look back at Jenny and she has stopped walking to look at something on the ground.

" What are you looking at?", I ask

" This", she says showing me a medium sized stone.

" Why are you looking at stones?", I ask.

" Before everything spun out of control with my family, we actually did do family stuff. We lived near this big pond and sometimes as a family we would all walk down to the pond and would have ten minutes to find the perfect stone. Once time was up we would see who's rock could skip the most and whoever won got to have two scoops of whatever type of ice cream we wanted. I was always the most picky about which stone I chose because I loved ice cream. Sean always chose a random rock, so he never really did good. My mom was similar to Sean, she never really cared because every time we went for ice cream she would go to this small family owned coffee shop and get her usual cinnamon latte while everyone got ice cream. My dad was like me kinda he would look for the perfect rock and when the ten minutes were up we would throw our rock and see how many times it skipped. Sean always lost, like I don't think he ever one once. I'm pretty sure my mom always lost on purpose also, so it was always me against my dad, my dad most of the time would win and we go to Lady Annabelle's creamery. I would almost always get there rainbow sherbet, Sean would get cookies and cream and my dad would get plain vanilla."

I smile at her story about her family. Jenny doesn't really talk about her family much so it's nice to know more about them and what she did growing up, it makes me feel closer to her.

" Come on there's a place I want to show you", I say grabbing Jenny's hand.

After the short walk we arrive at lookout point. We both stop and lay down on the ground and admire the emptiness of the night sky besides the moon and the two stars accompanying it.

" What made you and your family come to Beacon Hills?", I ask.

" I don't know we just felt drawn here, like we had to come here for some reason. I now know why we were so drawn here", Jenny says.

" Yeah, well we should get going it's late", I say.

" Okay that sounds like a good idea", says Jenny standing up and starting to walk back.

" Wait!, I say grabbing her hand. Let's take a different way back. I know something that you might like."

We walk down the long path to the small pond. I discovered this pond when Scott and I were looking for his inhaler. I thought of this place when Jenny was telling her story and I just knew that I had to take her here.

" Stiles! This place is great!", Jenny says excitedly.

" I'm glad you like it. I thought of this place when you told me the story. I found this when Scott and I were looking for his inhaler the day after he was bitten by Peter."

" Well I'll give you ten minutes to find a rock. Loser has to do whatever the Winner wants no questions asked", Jenny says before running to find the perfect rock.

I run the opposite way and look for at least a decent rock. I look through a small pile of rocks and notice an oval shaped stone and decide to use that one.

        " I'm ready!", I yell to Jenny.

" Same here. Good luck trying to beat me I found a winner", says Jenny showing me her rock.

" Well than I guess we'll just have to see. Ladies first"

Jenny throws her rock and it skips four times. Next was my turn. I threw my rock and it skipped six times.

"What? How the hell did you beat me!", says Jenny in shock.

" Four years of baseball babe", I say with a wink.

" Alright what am I doing", Jenny says rolling her eyes.

" We are going back to your place. Come on time to go to your house", I say grabbing Jenny's hand.

" Stiles, this was fun and all but I don't really want company right now", Jenny says.

" To bad you didn't win. You have no choice", I say with a smile.

        " Fine", Jenny mumbles.

We get into the jeep and drive to Jenny's house. I look over at Jenny and see that she has already fallen asleep. We get to Jenny's house. I grab Jenny's keys from her pocket and unlock her front door while carrying her. I place her onto the couch and I lay with her.

" Goodnight", I mumble before drifting to sleep.

Jenny's POV

        "Jenny."

" Mom? Is that you?", I question

        " Yes."

" Oh my god. Mom it's been practically the worst day. Sean and one of my best friends are dead and I don't know what to do", I ramble.

" I know Sean is dead and it's your fault", my mom says with a serious look.

" No, mom I tried to save them. Dad gave me a choice and I risked mine to save their lives but it didn't work", I attempt to explain.

" You were supposed to die. You were Jenny. Sean was going to live and defeat your dad, but now we're stuck with you to try and save the day", my mom says in an angered tone.

" No I can do it I promise. I'll make sure dad pays for what he's made us put through", I plead.

In the distance I see Allison and Sean appear. They look emotionless and in a way sad.

" You are to blame for everything. The death of Allison and I. Stiles is dying. Everyone is going to die, anyone who you care about", says Sean.

" It's all your fault Jenny. Everything is always your fault!", they all say.

        " Stop!", I yell.

        " Jenny! Jenny wake up!"

I woke up in a jolt. I looked around the room and saw stiles look at me concernedly.

" Stiles? What happened?", I ask

" You started saying things in your sleep. You were saying that it was your fault and that you kept screaming stop like you were talking to someone. You were yelling really loud which made me wake up, so I woke you up. What were you dreaming about?", Stiles asks.

" I saw Allison, Sean and my mom. They were telling me that it was my fault. That I killed them and I was to blame for everything that went wrong."

" It's not though. You could not have prevented what happened to them", Stiles reassures.

" It is though. I had the choice to save one of them and I told my dad to take mine instead of Sean or Allison. It didn't work and he killed both of them. It's all my fault", I say.

" Jenny, none of this is your fault. You tried to save them and it didn't work. Maybe we should just go to sleep and in the morning we go to someone for help. Jenny you're so pale and it worries me. So please go to sleep I'm here right here sleeping with you. Don't think about anything else, just think about me. I'm right here with you."

" Thank you Stiles.", I say cuddling into Stiles's arms and fall back asleep.
