Hogwarts Letters!
00:25, 2 April 2018Dumbledore, Minerva and Seamus are sitting at a table that Albus conjured into his office so they can sort out the invitation letters for hopeful new students. Minerva places down the parchments with lists of children who have just turned eleven and fit into the characters and house incomes they are looking for. Seamus glances at Dumbledore thinking back to the interview he had with the missing Harry Potter and wonders why he hasn't told any of the staff about the new addition yet.
"Shall we get started?" Albus asks, but is actually demanding the two of them to begin.
Minerva look to her boss trying to figure out where the man who used to care about these letter has gone. She sighs and nods her head answering him as she doesn't want to upset her boss and lose this job that she really needs. If she loses it she will lose everything that she has as she doesn't have another source of income.
Seamus glances inbetween the two older members of staff not understanding what has changed the relationship that they used to have when he was a student. But, then again he knows that a lot changed when Harry left. Only a select few were able to understand his decision and Minerva was one of them which put her against the headmaster for a while.
Seamus gets out the parchments that have the letters written on and hands them to the headmaster opting to do the envelope side. Dumbledore thanks his deputy internally for choosing to do the most annoying part, but he wishes that he gave that to Minerva. He still holds a slight grudge against her for not taking her side to drag Harry back to Britain.
"Okay first up is..." Minerva goes through them one at a time as Dumbledore writes down the names and then signs them before handing them to Seamus.
"Oh dear. Carin Dursley the daughter of Harry Potter's muggle cousin." Minerva tells them and Dumbledore gasps.
He never expected that the Dursley's might have a muggle born child. But, then again far back in their family tree is a powerful wizarding line. And can't help, but wonder what Harry will do with his abusive cousin's daughter in his classes.
Minerva stops all of a sudden at the midway point of the G's. Dumbledore scowls at the woman for setting them back like this. Both he and Seamus want to get this over with and she is not helping at all.
"What is it Minerva?" Dumbledore asks putting on his grandfather mask that seems to work so well for him.
"The twins Harper and Haidan Greyback." Minerva whispers out just loud for the other two to hear her.
Dumbledore sighs hating that he will have to deal with the children of the darkest werewolf around. But, he cannot turn them away for no reason especially as they have the money to pay the intuition. Seamus eyes land on the headmaster wanting to know what he going to do about it.
"We will keep a close eye on them." Dumbledore tells them and Minerva looks at him with total disbelief.
He hands their signed letter to Seamus who quickly slips them into their envelopes before adding them into the pile of others. Minerva glares at the list worried about what might happen and how the parents will react to have Fenrir Greyback's children anywhere near the school they trust to protect from death eaters that are still on the loose.
They continue down the list.
"Alexio Lucius Malfoy and Alejandro Aburax Malfoy." Minerva tells them wondering who Draco Malfoy ended up marrying in the end.
Dumbledore sighs the Malfoy's are a serious a thorn in his side at the moment when it comes to politics. But, he knows that he can use this to his advantage just like he does with everything else. It is highly surprising that more wizards and witches have not caught on just to how manipulative the supposed light lord is.
"Aleta Nott." Minerva says after finishing of the rest of the M's.
Minerva glances at the girls parents surprised to see that Ginny Weasley married Theodore Nott after everything her brother said against them being together. It makes her wish that Harry was still around to keep them all together. When he left people fell apart and friendship groups split up.
"So Ginny did go against her family and marry Nott." Seamus says out loud catching Dumbledore's attention, since he thought the Weasley chit would have chosen her family not her boyfriend turned husband.
Minerva continues down the list until she gets to the end of the P's and drops the list. She lets out a gasp and pales. Seamus wonders what might have done this to the woman who is never shocked by anything.
"It can't be...." Minerva says before stopping not able to say anymore.
Albus takes the parchment from the woman and looks to where she stopped. He stares at it hardly believing what is right infront of him. Seamus sees the confused look on the headmaster's face, which never happens either.
"Tom Scorpio, Damon Marvolo and Basilius James Potter." Dumbledore states and he doesn't see why Harry never told him about this during his job interview especially as he has the job now.
"How is this even possible?" Minerva asks doing her best not to cry, while thinking how on earth Harry might be able to deal with a full time job and three children possibly by himself.
"Harry is back Minerva dear. He is the one I gave the defence position to, but he never said anything about this." Dumbledore admits not able to think of a way to save his own skin without telling her at least this much.
Minerva stares at the headmaster thinking about the boy that she used to teach and pushed into dangerous situation. She can't help but blame herself for the way things turned out and gets that she should have spoken out about using a child to fight a war for them. She knows very very well that the adults should have done that and not pinned their hopes on a small child like Harry Potter even if he did survive a meeting with you-know-who when he was a child.
"I will talk to him about this when he arrives here in September." Albus tells them both signaling for them to carry on.
They carry on finishing the rest of the letters. Noticing that a lot of Weasley's are coming in this year and they can only hope that the school can survive them if they are anything like the Weasley's twins were during their time here.
Carin Dursley screams out from the excitement as she runs into the kitchen where her mother and father are making breakfast. Dudley watches his little baby girl wondering what has got her this worked up so early in the morning. Pansy smiles grateful to have such a loving family now that they have gotten away from Dudley's father once and for all.
Dudley eyes the letter in his daughter's hands and gasps. He realises straight away that is one from the magical to be exact a letter of invitation to Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry. He cannot believe what has been staring him in the face this whole time, but he understands that no matter what she is still his daughter.
"Sit down my little one we need to talk." Dudley tells Carin and Pansy can sense that this is not going to be something she will enjoy.
Dudley hates himself more now than ever before!
He made his sweet little girl cry as well as his wife tell him to get over his prejudices about magical beings or they are over. He sighs knowing that his wife is right and he needs to fix the harm that he has done. He will apologise to his wife, then his daughter. If he can find his cousin one day he will beg down on his hands and knees for forgiveness for what he did to him.... for what his family did to him.
"Mummy!!!!" Jacob screams as he runs into their living room.
Hermione looks up from the book that she was reading intently to glance at her first born son. She notices the Hogwarts letter he is waving around and she smiles down at him remembering the day she got hers. It changed her life forever and she prays silently that he will have a better time than she did when walking those halls.
"Well done Jacob. Have you written back to the headmaster yet?" Hermione congratulates her son before asking him about the letter that has to be sent back to the headmaster to tell them that the child has accepted the place at the school.
Jacob shakes his head trying to imagine what it will be like to attend such a supposedly amazing school. Hermione sighs wishing that her first son didn't take after her husband so much, but she gets up anyway and pulls him into a hug. She will always dote on her children no matter what others say about it.
"Let's go write your reply." Hermione tells her son as she gently pull him out of the room.
Draco glares at the parchments he is holding, while sitting down at his desk, in his home study. He hates that he has to work so much as well as being a lord. It takes up so much of his time when he rather be with his troublesome twins and his adoring husband.
Blaise silently walks into the room before kissing his husband's neck wanting some attention, since Draco didn't come to bed until really late the night before so he missed out on what he was promised. Draco grunts out a moan wanting to throw away his papers and let his significant other half take control of him. Blaise smirks loving the fact that he has so much control over his husband.
"Blaise... I... need to get this done." Draco warns Blaise, but they both know that he doesn't really mean a word of it.
"Dray, please." Blaise begs not wanting to give up on getting his husband into their bed.
"....."
Alexio and Alejandro strut into the room to see Blaise shoving his tongue down Draco's throat. They both fake gag, then turn around so that they are facing the door. Draco blushes bright red as it is not the first time their twins have caught them kissing in such a passionate way. Blaise chuckles behind his hand, but sits down on his significant other's lap.
"What is wrong my handsome twins?" Draco asks letting Alexio and Alejandro know that it is safe to turn around now.
Alexio sits down on the leather sofa near the fireplace, which is on, since he wants to warm up a bit from the cold ice cream that he had earlier. Alejandro sits down on the swivelly chair across from Draco's desk. Blaise smiles glad that his family spends as much time together as possible, even if that means they have to sit in his husband's office while he is working.
"We got our Hogwarts letters..." Alexios says the first part of the sentence and then Alejandro finishes it off with "..... we were wondering what is for the best."
Blaise glances at Draco as he gets that he doesn't want their children around the man that took away not only his Father and Mother, but their Lord as well. The last thing he wants is to put his children in the hands of that man, although neither of them want to send them to a magical school abroad as they are the only ones that are as good as or maybe even better than the one here.
"It's your choice, but you know that we will always want you two to do what you need to do even though we would both prefer you close to home." Blaise tells them kissing each of them on their heads before kissing his husband on the lips and then leaving for dinner with Theodore.
Draco stares after his husband wishing that they could have had their romantic and pleasurable tumble on his desk. He turns back to the twins when Alexio coughs wanting to regain their bearers attention. Alejandro smirks grateful that they have parents who adore each other as much as they adore them.
"What do you think Mum?" Alejandro asks with Alexio nodding agreement to his parent name choice.
Draco smiles liking the fact that they call him Mum, but also hating it at the same time. He loves them so much that he lets it lie and allows them to continue calling it them. Although, when they are in trouble they know better than to call him Mum as it makes it so much worse on them.
Draco is still the same old Draco when he gets angry.
"I think that you should follow your hearts as well as looking at the facts, then choose what is the best for the two of you. No matter what me and your Dad will still love you." Draco tell them, then he gets up and kisses each of them on the forehead before they both leave.
Draco sighs hoping that everything goes well for his little monsters. He cannot let them be hurt by the old bastard if they do choose to go to Hogwarts. It reminds him of the past when he had to protect himself from his own headmaster.
Harry is sitting at his desk grateful that his beloved son's are busy in the library with Pippy as he is working. Harry runs his eyes over each of the class plans he has for the year wishing that he could get this over with already. He never wanted this life, he wanted his husbands and their children, but that will never happen so he knows that this is for the best now.
Pipy all of a sudden pops into the room dragging Harry away from his thoughts. Harry raises an eyebrow at her wanting to know what is going on and if something is wrong with the only ones that he cares about now that his husbands are gone.
"Pippy, what is wrong?" Harry asks her not waiting even a second to find out if something is wrong with his babies.
"Master, Tom, Damon and Basilius got their letters of invitations from Hogywarts and Durmstrang." Pippy admits not lying to the only master she has ever had with a enthusiastic smile gracing her elf features.
Harry sighs thanking the gods in his mind for the fact that nothing is wrong with his sons. He doesn't believe that he will be able to survive without his children. They are the only ones that are keeping him going now that his husbands are gone.
"Bring them here. I need to talk to them." Harry commands the elf that is in his service.
"Yes Master. I will bring the young masters here master." Pippy says understanding her task before she pops away.
Harry puts down his parchments letting them be for the time being, since he knows that he has to concentrate on his beloved children now. Although his mind always makes it way back into thinking about them. It is the only reason that he is still sane after everything that has happened to him during his life.
Damon, Tom and Basilius sigh not wanting to leave their library full of books, games, etc. But, they know that if they ignore him their Daddy will worry about them. All three of them know it is not nice to sit through one of their bearers chats when he is worried and angry at them for ignoring them.
On the other hand they all know that it is because he has lost so much that they are the only things he has left in this world.
Tom, Damon and Basilius kiss their Daddy's cheek once each when they get to his private office. Harry smiles and kisses them on their foreheads happy that they are fine, even though they are going to have to make the biggest decision of their lives so far. The triplets sit down in their usual places in Harry's private study settling in for the talk that must be important.
"Son's, I know that you have gotten invitations to both Durmstrang and Hogwarts. I just want to talk about where you wish to go. I don't want to affect your decision, but I will be teaching at Hogwarts from now on." Harry explains the situation to them knowing that there is no point in lying to him.
Damon, Basilius and Tom glance at each other having another one of their silent mind conversations. Harry smiles grateful that they have such a connection as it will help them no matter which decision they choose. He can only hope that nothing ever happens to them and protect them the best that he can.
"Daddy, we want to go to Hogwarts." Basilius tells their Daddy with a small sad tight smile.
"We want to walk the halls that Papa and Dada did." Damon adds on wanting to get in his two cents.
Harry nods understanding the want and need to be closer to their sire's even if they cannot do it physically. It may help all of them in the long run to move on, but Harry isn't sure that he will ever be able to move on from the two of them. They had one of the strongest bonds to be formed in decades.
"Alright." Harry tells the three of them as they hop up and jump into his open arms.
He will never allow the old bastard of a headmaster to harm the only one's that he has left in this world!
