Sometimes the pain we experience becomes beyond our tolerance, And at times like that our heart would become numb.. You would barely feel your own heart beat, You would barely feel that warmth and life in your chest.. The world would become so cold to a point your skin would crack up.. Your eyes would open up to the ugliness of the world, You would see the truth behind the most magnificent sight you used to see everyday.. The sun light that beams against you won't even feel warm.. A world like that would make you feel like the dead who's alive..It makes you you feel lifeless even when you are breathing.

And Lee Felix, A boy of eighteen year old was experiencing that.. He was standing at that dark cold path as blood flooded underneath his bare feet.. He felt so cold, And it made the boy to hug himself in that lonesome world.. He looked around and all he could see was the dead ones.. No one around him was alive, He was the only one left behind in this pitch black world..

He walked further through that sticky ground, Red puffy eyes looked around scanning each of the dead stranger's face but as he walked further he started seeing familiar faces..

He saw chan and changbin.. They were hugging eachother but he wasn't able to walk closer to them as a invisible wall was created between them.. Soon his ears sharpen at the cry that left chan, Soon the male was crying hard while hugging on to changbin...Felix eyes widen as he realised the changbin which chan held was unconscious.. Felix had no more tears left to cry and and he wasn't able to stand still as a force pulled him forward..

Next sight he saw was of seungmin and jeongin.. The two male was on the ground, Drenched in blood.. They both were alive but they were beyond exhausted and sad.. Their eyes held so much pain as they stared at eachother.. Jeongin was caressing seungmin's wet hair as seungmin had his head placed over the blue head's lap..

Once again felix was pulled to move forward and the next sight he saw made his heart to drop down to his stomach.. He felt his throat dry up as he saw the figure of two male hugging eachother as they sat all alone at the road.. A crystal was connected to their chest but it was slowly melting away..It was Minho and Jisung.. They were hugging eachother's lifeless body as blood dripped down from their chest drop by drop..

Felix looked forward, Tears leaving his lifeless eyes as it catches the glimpse of a tall man at the other end of his path..He walked closer to that dark figure and soon there was light, It was getting brighter and brighter as he took his steps forward to that man..

Felix eyes slightly widen when the man looked at him, The light falling over his beautiful face.. Felix felt his feet stop on track but he kept trying to move forward but they weren't letting him..

"H-hyunjin..."

Felix called out as hyunjin smiled sadly at him.. The long haired boy walked closer to felix as felix looked up at him with tears leaving endlessly from his eyes. Hyunjin placed his hand over felix cheek, His hand was cold and it made felix to cry even more..

"Don't you dare blame yourself.."

The long haired male spoke, His voice filling felix ears as Felix leaned to hyunjin's touch..

"I p-promised to pr-protect you...And I f-Failed.."

Felix kneels down at that, Feeling his feet getting weaker and weaker.. Hyunjin crouched down at that, Lifting felix face up as his teeth peeked out to smile.. The man then spoke.

"Love.. Who said you didn't protect me?"

At that felix frowned in confusion as he muttered out.

"W-what..?"

Hyunjin pressed his forehead against felix as he spoke again.

"You didn't just protect me but you protected this whole world."

That was the last words he heard from hyunjin before the male disappeared out of his sight, Felix stood back on his feet, He twirled around, Searching desperately for his lover with a heavy heart but all the lights were suddenly turned off.. He was once again left in that pitch darkness..He was once again blind to this world.

He thought it all ended there..

But..

Felix felt the warmth once again..He suddenly heard the fainted voices.. It was loud but nothing was clear.. He felt like he was laying on top of something so soft.. He almost wondered if he was at his after life but then a name of someone caught his ear.

"Yah! Changbin keep it quite."

Changbin..? Changbin hyung? At that felix eyes fluttered open, His vision was blurry but he saw the outline of two males, Their background was white and the smell of that place was also soon after piercing in to his nostrils.. The smell of medicine.. He was at a hospital..? Felix started blinking as chan's voice became clear to the boy..

"Felix? Felix are you awake??"

The excitement in his voice was crystal clear as his vision started getting more clearer as well and soon enough his eyes met with chan and changbin standing up while looking down at him.. Felix eyes widen at that, He looked at changbin specifically as the male smiled brightly at him..

"Hyung.."

He called out for changbin as the male nodded his head with teary eyes.

"Hello felix.."

Felix eyes wandered to chan who was also tearing up. Felix quickly tried to get up but he wasn't able to, But chan was quick to react and made him stay there.

"Don't get up now.."

Chan instructed but felix didn't wanted to listen, Suddenly he heard changbin yell out.

"Jisung! He is awake!"

Felix was clueless at this point.. Jisung? He is alive? Felix eyes quickly turned to the direction where the other two was looking at and the familiar squirrel looking boy appeared infront of him, He looked surprised and happy, His doe eyes held wide. Suddenly jisung was engulfing felix in to a hug as the younger winced at the sudden tight grip.

"Jisung don't do that dumb bitch!"

Changbin scolded as he slapped the back of jisung's head.

"Ow!"

Jisung let out as he let go of his best friend. Jisung eyes met felix wide ones as he smiled brightly.

"I wanna sit up.."

Jisung looked at chan at that and the older sighed before nodding his head and then with the help of jisung and changbin felix sat up on the bed with a pillow placed behind him for him to lean his back against..

"What in the world happened?.."

That was felix's first question and everyone smiled at that.

"Well let's just say that you saved everyone who died that day for now.. Well expect those evil bitches."

Felix just got more confused at those words, He saved them? How? He was just standing there all helpless.. Then suddenly the door to felix room opened up and entered jeongin who let out an audible gasp at seeing felix awake, The boy held two bags of something and soon felix heard the sound of two boys fighting behind jeongin.

"Blah blah blah shut the fuck up bitch!"

Well that was most definitely Minho and following behind he heard Seungmin.

"You are so mean hyung!"

And soon enough the two male was also walking in, They also held their eyes wide while felix copied the same action. Minho was so alive maybe a little too alive and for seungmin he was standing straight on his legs.. And there we go a waterfall of tears was let go, He was crying almost like a child and everyone's heart melted at that as they quickly approached him, Engulfing the boy in to a group hug.

"I-i am so g-glad you all are back..."

Felix whispered out as they broke the hug, He sniffs as seungmin speaks up.

"Well you are the reason why we are back.."

Even though felix was confused at that his focus was turned towards something else.. There was only six of them.. Felix heart clenched at that, Among those familiar faces of his friends one was missing.. Hyunjin.. He was no where to be seen and that made felix to feel nervous.. Where was he? His heart was beating rapidly as everyone noticed the troubled face of felix.

"What's wrong?"

Jisung questioned as felix part his heart shaped lips.. he hesitated to ask where he was, Worried if he failed to bring him back..

"H-hyunjin...?"

Fear rushed up as felix shuttered out that name but his heart calmed down when jisung smiled at the mention of the older's name.

"He is out, The doctor said you would be up today so he went home to get himself ready for his so called 'first impression'."

Jisung explained while minho followed up.

"He was being painfully dramatic."

Changbin slapped minho's back at that before speaking up.

"He was worried sick lix, Bro haven't slept for a day, He stayed beside you for hours and hours and no matter how many times we told him to get a break he refused to move away from you.."

Felix heart fluttered at that, Hyunjin was alive, his hyunjin was alive and once again tears filled up his eyes as a bright smile appeared over his face.

"When would he be here?"

Felix questioned to which jeongin replied.

"Anytime soon."

At that felix whipped his head towards Chan as the freckled boy asked.

"Can i go out?"

Chan crossed his arms at that, Tilting his head up with a strict face.

"No i am not going to allow yo--"

But before he could even complete his words bro was out of the room, Chan's eyes widen as he tried to run behind him but jisung stopped him.

Felix ran through the corridor mindlessly, people gave him weird stares but he didnt care, His bare feet took steps forward, He ran and ran until he could get the glimpse of his lover, He was so desperate to have a glance of him.. He wanted him in his embrace as soon as possible and like that he reached the exit of the hospital, He stared outside watching carefully as his eyes stayed stuck on the number of people who entered the hospital through the gate.. Time ticked and ticked but yet no sign of hyunjin, The male fisted the side of his white pants as his face fell sad at no sign of the older.

His heart raced at the absence of the male as he sighed and decided to just go back and wait at the room, With his head down he turned around to walk away but only to stumble on to someone, resulting in both of them to fall on the ground..

Felix face was pressed against someone's chest. First thought was how hard the chest was second thought was what the fuck you have a man so with that he quickly rose himself up from the stranger and this moment felt like a deja vu or perhaps really close to what happened that day where he met hyunjin for the first time..But then he was more surprised as he laid eyes on the male beneath him..

Black long hair with red streaks, Long sharp eyes, Chocolate brown orbs and those red cherry lips.. Looking plumb as ever.. There laid Hwang Hyunjin, Looking up with a sweet smile.. Now this was the exact same as what happened that day.

Felix felt like his heart stopped beating for a second before beating rapidly..

"Hyunjin.."

Hyunjin's smile turned more wide and bright at that, His infamous eye smile melting felix heart off.

"Hello there love.."

Hyunjin respond and felix felt so happy to hear that voice again. Soon they both were standing up and felix wasted no time to throw himself to hyunjin, Hyunjin happily caught the male in his arms, making the smaller to wrap his legs around the older's waist.

Felix cupped hyunjin's face and they were warm..They were warm again.. Tears dripped down his cheeks at that as he slammed his lips against hyunjin's, Hyunjin kissed back twirling around with felix in his arms. After breaking the kiss hyunjin spoke up.

"You really kept your promise huh?"

Felix frowned in confusion at that as hyunjin continued speaking.

"You protected me.."

Felix smiles at that before kissing hyunjin's forehead afterwards speaking up.

"I am glad i did.."

He said lovingly as hyunjin put the younger down before handing him a bouquet of flowers. Felix eyes lit up at that as his eyes met hyunjin's again.

"I missed you."

Hyunjin spoke as felix received the flowers with bright pink cheeks.

"You have no idea how much I did.. You died infront of me.. And I feel beyond happy to see you standing right here again.."

Tears were released as hyunjin wiped them off, Hugging the smaller in to his chest as Felix relaxed in his embrace. They stood there enjoying eachother's warmth.

As I told you.. If the good has won let them have their world back.

Let them have that world which made them who they are.

Let them have that world full of love.

What happened here was.. The book made Felix's wish to become true, Felix wished to have this all back and there we go he have it all back.. His family and his world.

Several months later.

The prince was anxiously sitting near his mother, Watching her son anxiously fidgeting with his hands, she slowly made her way to get a hold of his hand. Hyunjin looked at his mother who smiled softly at him before leaning close to whisper.

"They will accept it, Jin.. They will respect your choice just as I did."

Hyunjin smiles softly at that before the announcement for hyunjin to get infront of his citizen was here. The male nervously stands up before making his way to stand infront of the throne, Everyone cheered for him, Camera flashing here and there as Hyunjin gulped softly.

He was dressed in a formal attire, His hair was now pure black, Cut short and neat.. After all that chaos, They finally announced about how the prince was alive and as the citizen expected for him to come back to his royal family everything turned the opposite, Hyunjin didn't wanted to be the prince of korea, He didn't wanted to take that responsibility which would take away alot of things from him.. First of all it's impossible for a prince to date or marry a commoner then that commoner being a male wasn't going to do anything better and second of all it will just part him away from all of his friends so he took the choice of giving up on his crown and giving that to someone who suits that position more.

He expected the queen to disagree but she accepted it but requested him to come visit her often which he agreed to and ofcourse that was exactly what he was going to do.

As hyunjin looked at the crowd anxiously his eyes stopped at the familiar boy, The familiar freckles and silver hair.. The boy smiled sweetly at the prince who eased at the sight of that boy.. So with that he faced the crowd again.

"First of all I would like to apologise for not taking care of my citizens as a prince and for taking off this crown."

With that he bowed at the crowd to which the crowd bowed even more down, Royal family was forbidden from bowing down at the commoners but at this point hyunjin himself was just a commoner.

Hyunjin looked back up with a smile before a man spoke up loud.

"You did took care of us though, You saved us your highness."

At that everyone agreed, clapping and cheering for hyunjin as the male looked around with wide eyes, Tears forming up as hyunjin smiled and bowed for the last time, Eyes travelling to his lover who clapped with the others with a sweet smile, eyes stuck at hyunjin.

And at that night he gave away that crown to his cousin, The next prince of South korea. Later felix and hyunjin was standing infront of the queen, Bidding their goodbye to go home.

"Then i'll be getting going eomma."

Hyunjin said as his mother smiled and nodded, her eyes turned to felix who bowed at her. She caressed felix head making the boy to look up at her, Eyes wide and open as the queen smiled lovingly.

"Thank you for taking care of my son, Please continue taking care of him for me.."

The women requested to which felix smiled sweetly at.

"I promise, my majesty."

And that night they left the palace hand in hand, Walking towards the car waiting to take them back home.. It was a night of full moon, The moonlight flashing against them.. Hyunjin and Felix looked at eachother, Something sparkling in that loving gaze they shared.

"I wonder why the book didn't grant junghoon the wish.."

Felix said out of blue as hyunjin sighed and looked up at the sky.

"Perhaps cause that battle was worth of nothing.."

Suddenly felix stopped walking making hyunjin to also halt stop, Hyunjin looked at him confusingly. Suddenly felix pouted his lips as he spoke up.

"I want a kiss."

Hyunjin laughed at that before leaning down and pressing his lips against felix's and that moment felt like it was straight out of some fairytail. Before breaking the kiss hyunjin bit on to felix lips making the silver head to let out a scream of pain.

"You fucking chicken head ass--"

Laughter filled their atmosphere that night.

7 years later.

Ian was standing infront of the grave of his mother, He just stared and stared without a word until a hand was placing a bouquet of flower over the grave. Ian's eyes turned towards the owner of that hand, To meet eyes with the familiar officer..Yuta.

"Who told you I was here?"

Ian asked surprised at the male's presence, Yuta just shrugged his shoulder before responding.

"I am a pro stalker."

Ian was taken aback by the older's response.

"Dude what?"

Yuta smiled softly before telling the truth.

"Hyunjin told me."

Ian rose his eyebrows at that.

"Why were you searching for me?"

The male asked as yuta responded with a little nervous voice.

"To take you out to on a date."

"Huh?"

Changbin was screaming harshly at the mic as chan and changbin was currently doing karaoke.

"Calm down changbin! You won't have any voice tomorrow!"

The older tried to yell out through that loud chaos.

"I don't give a fuck, This is a day of celebration you got a promotion!"

The man yelled before continuing to abuse people's ears. Chan chuckled finding it cute how changbin was more happier than he was at the news of his promotion.

"You suck at cooking"

Minho said emotionelessly as he watched his boyfriend struggling with cutting a carrot.

"Why the fuck are you being so rude, I will seriously cry."

Jisung commented as he continued his work, Holding the knife in a very questionable way. Minho chuckled at that before walking closer to jisung.

"Just let me do it."

Jisung shook his head at that as his eyes kept stuck on the cutting board.

"I wanna be wifey material."

Minho laughed loudly at that as he looked at jisung lovingly. He leaned down and kissed the boy's pouty lips before saying something random out of nowhere.

"Wanna suck at something else rather than cooking?"

"Huh?"

"Like my dick--"

"I will freeze you down."

Seungmin was getting literally punched.

"Why in the world are you throwing punches at me!?"

"You ate my fucking cupcake bitch!"

Jeongin responded, Strangling the male on to the bed and biting on to seungmin's arm.

"ARHHH I DIDN'T KNEW YOU WERE TREASURING THAT!"

And soon enough jeongin was calming down and he just laid on top of seungmin with his head probed up in to seungmin's neck. Seungmin chuckled softly before wrapping his arms around the younger before speaking up.

"Wanna go get some cupcakes now?"

At that jeongin jolt up, Looking down at seungmin with shining bright eyes.

Felix walked nervously through the street, Looking down at the same black box for the nth time as his heart was beating rapidly. His hair which was black now bounced up and down, As he started jogging through the street to meet up with his boyfriend.. Soon enough felix eyes met the sight of the older male..

Hyunjin grew his hair long again, This time dying it blond and felix absolutely loved it. With a bright smile he approached hyunjin who still didn't had noticed felix presence, He was busy scrolling through the phone with ear buds in.

Felix leaned in and left a peck on the male's cheek, With a flinch the male finally looked up at felix, Lips curling up in to a bright smile as he removed his ear buds to get up and hug the smaller.

And afterwards the both boys were walking through the side of the bridge, Watching the beach from up there.. Felix would look at hyunjin here and there as the male stayed busy staring down at the shimmering blue sea. With taking a sharp breath in felix pulls out the black box before speaking up.

"Will you marry me?"

Hyunjin's eyes widen as he looks at felix confusingly, Felix looked like he would almost faint as hyunjin's eyes met felix.

"You a-asked m-me to be your b--boyfriend...So I thought i- i should be the one to ask you to marry me."

Hyunjin was beyond surprised, He didnt even knew if felix was joking cause this was just out of blue and he was not at all expecting this.

"Wha--"

Hyunjin was cut off when felix showed the box of rings.

He. Was. Being. Serious.

Hyunjin almost screamed, Did a flip, Started rapping, booked a whole honeymoon to france but he somehow end up gathering his cool but his mouth was still hanging open.

"Are you really asking me to marry you?"

Felix nods as he looks at hyunjin with nervous eyes.

"FUCK YES-- I mean yes, Yes I would love to marry you."

At that felix heart calms down, The male laughed along with hyunjin before they paused. They stared at eachother, They really were looking at their whole world. Hyunjin suddenly cups felix face, Leaning down to attach their lips together..

Whenever their lips touched, they felt like the world stopped for them.. It always felt like a puzzle has finally found its other piece.. And they were beyond happy to make this a forever thing, Till their last breath they would want eachother's lips, Till the end they just want eachother.

Maybe it all started as pure hate but it ended as pure love.

Felix made hyunjin wear the ring while hyunjin did the same to felix. A ring that gave them a new title. Hyunjin kisses the knuckles of felix hands as his eyes rolls up to meet the honey pools.

"I love you, Mop head."

Felix smiles at that before responding.

"I love you too, Chicken head."

And that was end of their love story or perhaps the start of it.. But that sure was the end of the chosen one's story, The end of the story where the eight boys saved their world.

"Hey did they found the book though?"

Felix questions his fiance who shakes his head a no.

"What is that?"

A japanese boy asks.. As the group of boys turns their attention towards where the particular boy was looking at.. It was a book laying there on the ground, In the middle of the woods.

The boy picks up the book, As he reads the title written over the book..

"The book of quirks."

The End.
