Chapter nineteen

James

I was sitting in the living room waiting for the first victim of our prank when I heard Cassie shout "JAMES SIRIUS POTTER, FRED ARTHUR WEASLEY AND SCORPIOUS HYPERION DRACO MALFOY, I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU THREE" and I gulp. That girl loves her platinum blonde hair more than anything and she was going to kill us, resurrect us and kill us again. The door opens and an angry looking Cassie marches into the room her blonde hair now blue much like Ted's.

She had a wand in her hand. I was scared; the last time she was wasn't very unforgiving and lifted the spell after two days when Aunt Mione promised her more books. It was hard but we swore never to prank her again especially with her hair. That damn girl inherited her mother's brain after all. The last thing I saw was her smirking.

Cassie

I was beyond furious. Those idiots know very well not to mess with my hair. When I look at them, they looked scared and I smirked making them unconscious. I turn James' beloved raven hair to platinum blonde, Freddie's hair to green and my lovely brother had his hair changed from platinum blonde to Weasley red. They were going to regret pranking me. I turned the twins' hair to match Freddie's.

That time, everyone had gathered in the living room to find the source of the shouting. Lily was the first to enter,"Cassie, why does your hair look like Ted's?' "Hey, don't diss my hair. Blue looks good on her but I can't say the same for you Cassie." I showed them the boys and they burst into laughter. The noise awakens the boys and I hand them a mirror. "After all this time, you have learnt not to mess with the daughter of the brightest witch of her age." I see mom feeling proud. "My spell will last for two weeks. Enjoy boys." I smirk.

Moony asks, "This has happened before?" "A lot of times. We girls are their victims. The last time they pranked me, James was a horse, Freddie was a weasel and Scorp was a ferret for two days. I had just learnt human to animal transfiguration and they were my guinea pigs. They swore never to mess with me again and mom was so proud, she gifted me a new set of books." Turning to Scorp, "even though I'm younger, I'm as smart as mom is abd I know some spells you will learn after Christmas. Don't ever mess with me again." They three nodded hurriedly and I left to change my hair to its original colour.

"Wonderful job Cassie" Vic and Dom tell me. I told them about the spell I used and they planned to use it in the future with different hair colours.

We hear some noises from the room we had fallen in and voices that seemed familiar to me.

Lily runs into the room and James and Ted follow her wand in their hand, blocking the view. When they saw who Lily had hugged, they relaxed and separated so that the others could see who had arrived.

I hugged mom and dad and looked at a younger version of everyone gasping at them holding hands. "I didn't her until I saw this." Mom's younger version says. "Don't worry, he isn't that bad." Mom says and winks at her younger version who tries to hide her blush. Dad laughs looking at them.

After Lily hugs Uncle Harry, he looks at everyone and waves at them. He goes to his younger version and whispers something in his eyes. He then stood before Padfoot and hugged him tightly with tears coming from his eyes. They have a talk while I see Uncle George hug Uncle Fred tightly telling him that everyone misses him. All the adults except dad hug Aunt Ginny telling her what a wonderful mother her future self had been and they all missed her.
