The group got to the spot and started to set up. Hawk brought the alcohol down and they set up the music system. Jules walked over to the cooler and pulled out one of the beers, she took a breath before taking a sip. It burned down her throat but the feeling that followed was great, she needed this. Jules needed to let loose and forget about all the troubles in her life.

So what if her boyfriend was an asshole and the tournament was in a couple days? Jules didn't need to worry about it right now. They all cheered as the music started, and Jules slowly started moving to the beat. More people slowly started to show up, and the party slowly started to warm up. Jules finished her first beer and felt calmer and like her nerves had suddenly become muffled but she wasn't drunk yet and was barely tipsy. She walked over to Miguel as he stared down at his phone.

"Still nothing?" She asked the distracted boy a d he shoved his phone into his pocket hissing out. "Nope."

"Maybe her phone died." Jules shrugged

Miguel just shook his head. "Whatever. Let's get the party started without her."

He reached over and opened the cooler and grabbed a beer. He passed one over to Jules before cracking it open and drank half of it in a gulp. Jules just chuckled at the boy as his face contorted, she hit his back.

"First one's the worst." She said before cracking hers open and clicking with Miguel. They started chugging their drinks, the burn didn't affect Jules anymore and her mind felt less clouded

As she pulled the bottle from her lips, there was only about a single swallow left. She groaned and clicked her tongue. Jules looked up to see Hawk smiling at her, he shook his head before nodding to the girl.

"That's how you do it right there, the Queen Cobra isn't just the Queen of the dojo, she's the Queen of drinking." Hawk praised her and a few of the party members cheered for her

It felt good to be here, to be around her friends and Cobra Kai students. She looked over and saw Aisha who was having fun and slowly made her way over there.

"What are you doing all by yourself Isa?" Jules asked, having more confidence from the alcohol. "Come on let's dance, I know you've got some moves."

Jules started pulling the girl from the edge of the party and closer towards the speaker. The two girls giggled and started dancing, Jules hyped up Aisha and got into her own groove.

"There you go!" Jules hyped up Aisha. "See you're on fiyah."

Aisha said back. "Thanks for everything Jules. I couldn't ask for a better friend."

Jules nodded. "Of course, I've never met anyone as sweet and smart as you. I mean it's you who should be the Queen Cobra, you dominate the dojo Isa."

Aisha shook her head and hit the girl's shoulder. "Nuh uh, you are literally the Queen of Cobra Kai. You are absolutely amazing and such a skilled fighter. You totally deserve the title."

Jules swatted the comment away. "You're too nice Isa." Aisha grabbed Jules's hand. "I mean it. You deserve it. Now I think you should save Miguel from alcohol poisoning."

The girl looked behind her and at where she had left Miguel. Aisha was right, the boy was on his third or fourth bottle. Jules clicked her tongue and shook her head, she looked back at Aisha.

"If I wasn't around him all the time, he'd be dead." Aisha laughed and Jules started towards the boy grabbing another drink on the way

"Another one?" Jules asked as Miguel burped. "Are you good?"

He nodded, his words slurring a bit. "You good?"

He patted the girl's shoulder and Jules cocked her eyebrow, he stumbled over to the cooler and reached in. Jules followed him as he pulled another one out.

"Hey Miguel, how about we go dance. Do something besides drink yourself to death." She said and grabbed his arm pulling him far from the coolers and to the speaker

She started moving and Miguel followed her lead. Jules looked at the boy and laughed.

"What's with that look?" She asked Miguel who shook his head. "I'm not giving you a look."

"Yes you are."

He laughed. "Okay fine, it's just if you told me at the beginning of school that I would be dancing at a party with Julie Barron-Monroe, I wouldn't though you were crazy."

"Well if you told me I would be friends with Miguel Diaz who took down Kyler and his goons, I would've too." She replied

They continued dancing and just talking. This year had been something for Jules. Up on the hill, Robby laughed with Sam as they walked up to the hill. The looked down and started walking towards the party, Jules heard the laughter over the music and so did Miguel. The two teens looked over at where it was coming from, Jules's heart dropped.

"What the fuck!" She hissed out and Miguel gulped harshly as he crushed the red solo cup in his hand

Jules got tunnel vision as she walked sway from Miguel, rushing to meet her cheating boyfriend. The girl didn't notice the boy following after her. She stopped in front of Robby as Miguel walked to her other side staring at Sam.

"What the hell are you doing here with her?" Jules hissed out and the two teens looked up

Robby's eyes went wide as he looked over at Sam. Sam then saw Miguel and got excited before her face fell looking between the two.

"Who's this guy?" He asked Robby who was still focused on Jules. Robby finally looked at Miguel. "Wait, this is....Miguel?"

Sam nodded, Jules and Miguel glared at their partners respectfully as Sam tried to calm Miguel down.

"This is Robby. He works for my dad." Sam tried to explain and Miguel nodded, not hearing reason. "Oh, with your dad. Ok, that makes a lot of sense."

Jules focused on Robby, she poked her finger into his chest. "Is this what you were doing when you weren't answering my texts?"

"What!" He yelled out. "No, Julie you're crazy if you think that."

He tried to reach forward and grab her hand but Jules pulled her hand back. "Don't touch me."

"Have you been drinking Julie?"

She barked out at him. "Don't call me that."

"No I literally couldn't. My mom took my phone." Sam tried explaining to Miguel

"That is so convenient!" Miguel yelled out and Robby took a step forward trying to calm things down but Miguel pushed him back

Jules gasped and watched as Robby hit the ground. Robby jumped up, his anger took control as he yelled at Miguel.

"Hey, man, you wanna try that again?" Robby hissed as they got in each others face

Jules and Sam stood on the side, Jules saw red whenever she looked at Sam. Not only was the girl a bitch but she was also a homewrecker.

"Can't you leave my life alone!" Jules spat at the girl. "I just want one thing, can't you just let me have one fucking thing without taking it."

"You're not special." Sam yelled back at Jules. "Not everything revolves around you, Jules!"

Jules scoffed. "I'm glad you know that Daddy's girl."

Miguel nodded at Robby. "Try it again?"

Sam turned from the girl and tried to stop the fight but instead, Miguel threw a punch and instead of it hitting Robby like he intended. Sam flew back and hit the sand. The two boys leaned down and tried to help her up, Sam pulled from Miguel.

"God! You asshole!" The girl yelled and stood closer to Robby. "What the hell was that? My dad was right about Cobra Kai. Good luck at the tournament. I won't be there."

With that, Sam turned around. Miguel glared at Robby and looked at Jules before mumbling under his breath and storming away leaving the two. Jules gulped as she stared up at Robby, tears started crowding her eyes as she thought about their first date and the promise they made each other. Jules saw future with Robby, he was supposed to help her break the curse.

"We made a promise Robby." Robby just stood there it even trying to stop her. He just stared into her eyes seeing the pain and anger, his gaze softened but he was still angry.

Jules pushed him but it didn't do anything to Robby, he just took a step to steady himself. Jules's face twisted as a few tears rolled from her eyes. She looked back up and met Robby's eyes as she shook her head.

"My mother was right." She hissed out. "Barron's fall for the wrong guys. They get men who don't take responsibility and leave their families."

Jules gulped and got her emotions under control as she turned and walked away. As she turned around, that's when her emotions spilled out. She couldn't help it as sobs racked through her body. Robby let out a sigh as he watched Jules walk away before he turned and chased after Sam.
