Imagine 

Refers to a new type of self-insert fanwork written in the second person to allow the author or reader to imagine themselves in a scene or story with the character(s). By not actually identifying the POV persona of the Reader by name or description, it provides the author and/or reader with a way to explore personal fantasies (though not always sexual or romantic in nature) they may have about interacting with the characters. Originated in bandoms on Tumblr, the format has begun to spread to other fandoms and archives.
