chapter 46

Kendall's POV

Today me and Niall were gonna take jackson for his 2 month pictures. I rolled out of bed, walking over to my closet to find something suitable. it looked a bit chilly outside so I grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and a grey t-shirt. I quickly got changed and put my hair up into a high ponytail. I walked out of the closet and into the bathroom to brush my teeth and to go pee. I walked back out of the room and over to Niall.

"Niall wake up, we need to get jackson up" I said shaking his shoulder lightly. after a couple of minutes he woke up and got out of bed. he got changed and brushed his teeth, he came with me over to Jackson's room, when I opened the door jackson was sitting there looking over at us -it was the cutest thing ever- I picked him out of his crib and placed him down on his change table, I tickled his chubby legs which made him giggle. Niall changed his diaper while I went through his closet looking for something he could wear. I found his blue knitted sweater and matching bottoms. I got him changed and we walked out of his room and downstairs to the kitchen to eat something.

"babe what do you want?" I asked Niall looking through the fridge.

"I'll just take an apple, we have to leave in ten minutes" he said bouncing jackson on his knee. I grabbed two apples and a jar of baby food for jackson to see if he would eat it. I passed Niall his apple and grabbed jackson from him, I placed him in his high chair, I grabbed the spoon, opened the jar and fed it to jackson, who actually liked the food. we finished eating and Niall placed jack in his carrier and we were out the door.

"good morning, and welcome to Johanna's photography" a girl said when we walked through the doors.

"hi, we have an appointment for jackson Horan" I said bouncing jackson on my hip.

"yes, you're right on time, please follow me this way" she said walking from our behind the desk and into a room. Johanna was standing there fixing her camera.

"Johanna, the Horans are here" the lady said to johanna.

"alright, thanks" she said looking up at us, when she saw Niall she had shock all over her face.

"hello! you must be Niall and Kendall, my daughters are huge fans of one direction" she said walking over to us.

"haha, maybe after I can sign stuff for your daughters" Niall said shaking her hand.

"yeah, sure! and this must be baby jackson" she said looking down at jackson. she took jackson from me and placed him down on a blanket. she told us that we had to wait out in the lobby so that jackson doesn't get distracted. after sitting and looking through picture books for half an hour, Johanna came out with jackson in her arms.

"would you guys like to see the pictures?" she said handing jackson to me.

"yeah sure" we said standing ik and following her into her office where there was projector, she placed a chip in the projector and turned off the lights. a bunch of pictures came up of jackson, but one stood out to me and niall. he was sitting on his bum, with his hands on his one foot and it looked like he had been crying since his eyes were glossing and he had a cute little grin on his face. we told her we liked a few more and she told us to pick them up tomorrow. we said our thank you's and we were out the door.

"she does a really good job!" Niall said once I was done strapping jackson in.

"yeah, she is" I said climbing into the passenger seat.

"wanna stop for lunch?" Niall asked looking over at me.

"yeah, sure" I said buckling up. we drove to Nando's picked up food and drove home. we arrived home fed jackson and put him down for a nap.

"let's eat" Niall said, sitting down at the table grabbing his food. we talked and ate for a while. then we decided to watch some tv. we were watching tv, for ten minutes when we heard a knock on the door.

"go get it" I said looking over at Niall. he mumbled a 'fine' and walked over to the door, I laid down on the couch, listening to hear who was there.

"Kendall!" I heard Niall say, I walked towards the door and saw that there was a puppy on the front step.

"what the heck" I said to Niall.

"I don't know, there's a note" he said grabbing the note from the puppy's collar.

'we didn't have room for a puppy, so we thought your family could use one! xx' is all it said.

"what should we do?" Niall said looking at the little puppy.

"we should bring it in and feed it some food then take it to the adoption place" I said grabbing the puppy's leach. I pulled it in and took it towards the kitchen. Niall followed behind me, watching.

"what should we feed it?" he asked looking through the pantry. I told him to just grab something that looks appetizing for a dog. Niall gave the food to the dog and we just watched it sniff it then eat it all and fast.

"well he must've been hungry" Niall said laughing. I nodded and took him outside in the backyard, I took the leach off of him and let him roam around the yard. I sat down on the deck stairs and just watched him sniff then lift up his leg. Niall came out with the baby monitor in his hand and wearing his swim trunks.

"I'm going for a swim" he said handing me the monitor and walking towards the edge of the pool. he was standing on the edge looking down at the water, so I decided it was a good time for me to push him in. I walked up behind him, quietly and pushed him in.

"ahhhh" was all I heard before a splash. I started laughing when he came up.

"that wasn't very nice!" he said looking up at me.

"sorry babe, I couldn't resist" I said laughing still. he swam over to where I was standing. he started splashing me and got me wet.

"NIALL!" I said once he was done.

"sorry babe, I couldn't resist" he said mocking me. I laughed and sat down with my legs in the water. niall stayed in the pool for half an hour then decided to get out cause it was getting close to supper. jackson woke up around 4:30, it was his longest nap ever. I cooked

supper which was pasta for me and Niall and baby food for jackson. we finished eating and just kinda decided to have another night in together. I gave jackson a bath and put asleep since he was getting cranky. I walked back downstairs from putting him to bed.

"have you thought anything about the wedding?" Niall asked me as I sat on the couch.

"not really, besides it being in mullingar, just it's been so busy with jackson" I said to him truthfully.

"yeah, my mom was saying that she would help you out" he said twirling my hair with his finger.

"that would be great!" I said leaning up and kissing him.

"yeah and are you having a bridal shower?" he asked looking over at me.

"I think so, just can we talk about this tomorrow I'm tired" I said. he nodded and turned back to the tv, I felt bad I was kinda snappy.

"I'm sorry for snapping" I said getting on his lap and straddling him.

"it's alright" he said kissing my neck.

"we need to be quiet" I said when he took my shirt off. you guys can guess what happens next...;))!
