chapter 44

Kendall's POV

"Kendall wake up" niall said shaking me.

"hmm what do u want?" I asked not wanting to wake up.

"we need to go shopping for furniture" he said kissing my forehead.

"okay just let me shower and get changed" I said sitting up from my spot on the bed, "where is jackson?" I asked him.

"Liam and his new girlfriend are here they're gonna help us shop" he said. I didn't even know that Liam was talking to a girl... oooops.

"okay, well tell them I'll be down in half an hour" I said getting out of the bed. niall nodded and walked out of the room. I walked over to my closet opening the huge door. I got a pair of brown skinny jeans and a grey top that said "I would prefer not to". I took my clothes into the bathroom and took a shower, I quickly got changed, I blow dried my hair in loose waves that went over my shoulders.

I got out of the bathroom and walked down the stairs, into the kitchen where I heard people talking and laughing. I walked in and see liam, his girlfriend, and niall holding jackson standing and talking around the kitchen island.

"hey! Kendall" liam said looking over at me smiling.

"hey liam" I said walking over and giving him a hug.

"this is my girlfriend Anna" he said pointing to the girl that was standing beside him.

"hi I'm Kendall it's nice to meet u" I said reaching over and shaking her hand.

"I've heard quite a lot about u from all the guys" she said smiling. she had blonde hair, and pretty blue eyes. "oh, by the way ur son is very adorable too" she said smiling. I thanked her and we talked about what she does, I found out that she's going to university to be a nurse and that she's a originally from Holmes chapel and that Harry actually got Liam and Anna together.

"what time do u guys wanna leave? I have to wait for my aunt to get here to watch jackson but after that we can go?" I asked them taking jackson from Niall's arms.

"yeah that sounds good" liam said. as soon as Liam said that I heard a knock on the door. I walked over to the door and opening it to see my aunt, uncle, and my little cousin that I haven't seen in a year and a half.

"jessi!" I said pulling my little cousin in for a tight hug, she was about 13 years old.

"hey Kenny" she said pulling out of the hug.

"how's life?" I asked her. she had grown a bit since I last saw her and she had died her hair a lighter colour.

"it's good! how bout yours?" he asked looking up at me.

" it's really good, do u wanna come meet everyone?" I asked her. she nodded her head and we walked into the kitchen.

"niall, Liam and Anna this is my little cousin Jessie" I said pulling her towards me. they all said hi and Jessie kinda stood there awkwardly.

"alright let's go guys" I said walking over and giving jackson a kiss and taking him over to my aunt to hold. we all said our goodbye and walked out to our cars. I was taking Niall's range rover, Liam was taking his to, Anna was driving in her Audi and Niall was gonna drive my uncles truck that he had brought for us to use today. we all met up at the furniture store.

"alright, let's get going" I said to the guys and girl. we walked into the store and there was no one in there.

"that's weird, usually it's packed with people" I said to Niall.

"that's one of the perks of being in a boy band" he said smirking at me, of course he would do that.

"guys go together and girls will go together?" I said/asked.

"yeah sure" the guys said walking off. great this was the perfect opportunity to ask Anna some questions.

"so how long have u and Liam been seeing each other? " I asked her.

"a couple weeks, he asked me to be his girlfriend 2 days ago" she said smiling. we talked for a bit more about there relationship and about her. we came across a 'J' that is blue that we could hang on Jackson's door in his room. we looked around more, grabbing stuff from shelves.

we were finished and met the guys at the check out to see that they had nothing with them.

"why don't u guys have anything?" I asked them pissed off that they did nothing.

"we had to order all the furniture so they will be trucking it over to our house tomorrow morning" niall said.

"well u guys could've come and helped us" I said looking back at them.

"we thought that we would leave u to girls alone while we had some guy time" Liam said.

"oh okay" I replied, "well can u guys get some stuff for the bathrooms? we got all the other stuff" I said looking at them hopefully.

"okay, yeah sure" they said walking over to the bathroom section. I paid for everything then started to put everything in the cars. we had already finished so we were just waiting for the guys to finish up then we would head back home.

"did u bring ur bathing suit?" I asked Anna

"no I didn't" she said.

"we can go to ur flat and pick it up, then go swimming at the house?" I said to her.

"yeah sure" she said. we talked for five more minutes and finally the guys came out with a cart full of bathroom supplies.

"Anna's going to run home and grab her bathing suit then we can go swimming" I said to the guys. they were fine with that so we all headed back to the house besides Anna because she had to get her bathing suit. we unpacked all the stuff that we bought. then all went upstairs to get changed. I looked through my closet for a bathing suit. I finally found one and walked downstairs to see that the rest of the one direction boys and there girlfriends were all here. the girls were all looking at jackson who was sleeping in his playpen that I had set up in the kitchen. I turned on his baby monitor and grabbed the other one.

"let's go out side" I said opening the patio door. we all walked outside and placed our towels on the beach chairs beside the pool. we all hopped into the pool and swam around for a good hour, then decided to go out for supper. everyone left around 5:30, we said that we would meet at the restaurant around 6:30. me and niall walked upstairs to get ready for the dinner.

"what should I wear?" I asked niall looking over to him.

"we're going to a fancy restaurant, so wear a dress or something" he said looking in the closet for a pair of pants. I walked into the closet, looking for a dress. I picked out a cream coloured dress that went about half way down my thighs, I grabbed a pair of red pumps. after getting my outfit ready, I quickly got changed, slipping my heels on and walking out to see that Niall went downstairs. I walked into the bathroom, putting my hair in a messy braid that went over my shoulder. I opened one of the drawers that held all my jewelry, I picked up the necklace that Niall had given to me when we first started dating, I put it on and quickly did my makeup, I put on eyeliner, mascara, and some red lipstick on.

after putting my makeup on, I walked out of the bedroom, down the stairs and over to the foyer where Niall was standing with jackson in his carrier. I looked at Jackson and he was wearing a cute little jacket with black pants.

"well don't u look very beautiful" niall said looking me up and down.

"why thank you, ur looking very handsome" I said smiling up at him and giving him a kiss.

"ready?" he asked, I nodded my head and we were out the door. we walked over to Niall's car, niall locked jackson in and hopped into the front seat while I got into the passengers.

"which restaurant are we going to anyways?" I asked niall since I didn't know.

"an Indian restaurant called 'Mint Leaf-Haymarket, I've never been there but Harry said it was really good" he said keeping his eye on the road. we pulled up to a elegant looking restaurant, we saw that all the other boys cars were in the parking lot, so we got out grabbed jackson from the back, and walked towards the entrance. we walked in and saw that there was no one in there so the boys obviously reserved the whole restaurant for us. we walked over to the table day hellos to everyone, when I noticed that Jamie wasn't with Zayn.

"Zayn where is Jamie?" I asked him sitting down next to Miya.

"um I don't really want to talk about it at the moment so I'll tell u later" he said looking off into the distance, his eyes watering. something must have gone on so I decided to text Jamie.

hey! what happened with u and Zayn, he's sad and not talking, what's going in?

he can explain, I can't even say what I did, I'm so ashamed of myself :/ so just stop texting me, because once u find out, you will probably not wanna talk to me anymore.. goodbye Kendall..

I was surprised at what she had just said to me. I was starring at my phone for a while until I felt Anna tap my shoulder.

"is there something wrong?" she asked me quietly.

"do u know what happened between Zayn and Jamie?" I asked her looking over at Zayn, who was looking at his phone.

"all I know is that they broke up, because of something that she did, that's all liam told me, he said he would tell me when zayn wasn't around" she said turning back around and talking to Liam. I looked over at zayn who looked like was on the verge of tears.

"Niall can u just look after jackson for a second I'm gonna go talk to zayn" I said looking at him.

"yeah for sure" he said. I got up from my seat and walked over to zayn who looked up and me with a year rolling down his cheek.

"c'mon let's go talk" I said grabbing his hand and pulling him outside to a bench.

"what's going on?" I asked him, once I asked he burst out into tears. I pulled him into me hugging him. "shh sh it's going to be alright, don't worry" I said quietly.

"could u please just tell me what she did?" I asked quietly.

"she.. she.. cheated on me..." he said tears pouring out of his eyes. OH MY GOD! I pulled him into a big hug and whispered comforting words into his ear.

"you know what?" I said to him.

"what" he replied quietly a couple tears rolling down his cheeks.

"I've got a friend from my old town that just got out of a relationship to and is looking for a friend, maybe I could call her and get u guys together?" I asked him.

"yeah, that'd be nice, to get my mind off of it. thanks Kendall" he said looking down at me, giving me a hug. about 5 minutes later Zayn had stopped crying and wanted to go back inside.

"is he alright?" niall asked when I sat back down.

"yeah, he'll be fine" I said, I saw that all of our food was at the table and that everyone was starting to eat. I picked up my fork and started eating my pasta that I got. after everyone finished eating we decided to go to my dads house, since the boys were still living there.

we got to my dads house and saw that his car was parked in the driveway. I got jackson out of the car and started walking towards the house. I got in the house and saw my dad in the kitchen. I walked in and saw that another women was in there to, I noticed that it was Lauren Silverman.

"hey dad" I said walking in and setting jackson down on the table.

"hey kendall, how are u?" he asked looking over at me.

"I'm good! how bout u?" I asked him back.

"great! this is Lauren, Lauren this is my daughter Kendall" he said. I reached over and shook Lauren's hand.

"it's so nice to meet you, Simon talks about u a lot" she said smiling at me. "oh! is this your son?" she asked looking down at jackson.

"yeah" I said smiling down at jackson. we talked for a while, then they decided to go to bed so I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room to see everyone sitting in the middle of the room in a circle.

"what are you guys doing?" I asked sitting on the couch with jackson in my arms.

"we were about to play truth or dare, wanna play?" Louis asked.

"yeah" I said placing jackson in a swing thingy that was in the living room. we played truth or dare for an hour and a half, but the guys started to get tired so they all started making they're way upstairs to there bedrooms. I picked up the sleeping jackson and placed him back in his carrier getting ready to go.

"babe can u drive? I'm to tired" Niall asked picking up Jackson's carrier.

"yeah, sure. can you hand me the keys?" I said holding out my hand. he gave me the keys and we left the house. we hopped into the car and drove home.

we got home and I took jackson upstairs to get him changed into his pjs and placed him in his crib giving him a kiss on the cheek. I walked over to mine and Niall's room to get changed. I started getting undressed when I felt a breeze coming through my closet. I looked towards the window an saw that the window was open, I hadn't opened the window but maybe Niall did, so I closed the window and climbed into bed. Niall came in the room five minutes later, taking his shirt and pants off and climbing into bed beside me.

"did u open the window in the closet?" I asked niall.

"no why?" he said looking over at me.

"well the window was wide open, u don't think that someone was in here do u?" I asked him slightly getting nervous.

"I don't know, did u notice if anything was taken?" he asked me.

"no but I'm kinda scared, can I go and get jackson?" I asked him. he nodded so I got out of the bed and walked towards Jackson's room when I heard a crash coming from the kitchen downstairs. I quickly ran to Jackson's room and grabbed him running back to my room and saw that Niall wasn't in bed anymore.. I put jackson in his crib that was in our room and walked over to the stair case and looking over into the kitchen where I saw a light turned on. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, I saw Niall standing in the kitchen looking down at the ground where I saw that, he had dropped a glass on the floor.

"gosh Niall, you scared the shit outa me" I said placing my hand on my chest. he laughed and swept up the glass and got a new one filling it up with water. we walked back upstairs turning off all the lights and climbing back into bed.

"good night niall love you" I said kissing him, then cuddling into him.

"good night love, love u too" he said kissing my forehead and reaching back to turn of the lamp.
