PART 10

It was the middle of the night, everyone in dreamland has now been asleep by then. Except for one, meta knight. He was looking out his window with his caped rapped around him staring into the stars, thinking to himself

Meta knight: (weeks have passed now, and I think I still may have a crush on him... nothing has changed. It seems like the more I'm with him, the bigger it gets. What was it that captain vul said... it depends on how much you like the person.... huh.. I must really love galacta knight then. I would've never thought the first person I'd love would be a guy, let alone him. Well I guess there's no point in denying it further. I just hope this doesn't get in the way of... what we're doing. Even though my chances of actually being with him are low, I'd still like to hang with him.)

Meta knight got on his bed and was about to head to sleep with his pink sheet. But before meta knight could close his eyes he heard a couple of knocks on the door, by a couple I mean 15. They repeatedly kept knocking.

Meta knight: ???? Who's up THIS late at night? Ugh...

Meta knight got up to see who was knocking. He gently opened the door... and it was kirby with his night cap on and a blanket

Meta knight: ugh.. kirby. How many times do i have to tell you this, KNOCK. TWICE.

Kirby: sorry....

Meta knight: Why are you up this late at night

Kirby: I couldn't sleep.... I wanna be next to someone, if that's okay....

Meta knight: Not this again..

Kirby: It's fine if you don't want to meta.... I don't want to annoy you like I always do.

Meta knight: .... Fine. You can come in.

Kirby excitedly grabbed his blanket and dashed into meta knights home

Meta knight: Slow down kirby!! Sigh..

Meta knight shut the door behind him and went to go see kirby. They both sat down at the middle of a fire place and sat next to each other, kirby had his blanket wrapped around him and meta knight decided to read him a book to help him go to sleep faster

Meta knight: And that's how the scarfy exploded of arachnophobia and died, leaving the land of insects all around to be safe. The end.

Kirby: That was a nice story meta....

Kirby let out a big yawn, he was just about ready to go to sleep slowly shutting his eyes, while meta knight was just sitting there, staring into the distance until he finally decided to ask kirby a question

Meta knight: Kirby....

Kirby: ...?

Meta knight: You wouldn't think of me any differently if I liked someone... right?

Kirby: *yawn* of course not! You'll always be the coolest person I know! I wouldn't care who you liked, even though you're a jerk sometimes..

Meta knight: Aww..

Meta knights eyes turned blue, Kirby then fully closed his eyes and was almost about to sleep. Meta knight then started thinking about the times that he countlessly left kirby alone, and started to feel bad. So before kirby could go to sleep, he told him this

Meta knight: Kirby.. I don't think I've ever properly apologized for this, but.. I'm truly sorry for neglecting you. no matter where I go off to or no matter how much you annoy me, I would never abandon you. You're my student, after all, and I'll always be there to help you even if it may not seem like most of the time. Don't ever think I will leave you alone.

Kirby opened his eyes half way, he heard it all, and was very happy

Kirby: Thank you papa... I love you

Meta knight: ..! What did you call me?..

Kirby then quickly pretended to be asleep by fake snoring, and meta knight held kirby close to him and both went to sleep.

(Random clarification, kirby randomly calls meta knight "papa" time to time, nothing really important but just wanted to put it out there anyways.) but this story isn't about these two so let's skip to what pretty much everyone came here for in the first place. The morning arrived and kirby has left, and meta knight was ready to see clinically depressed raspberry, so he did. Blah blah blah he went there blah blah galacta knight was also there and he went up to him yada yada.

Though after what happened last time galacta knight has been very insolent towards meta knight recently. Mainly because he wanted to keep proving to himself that he didn't like meta knight, even though he does, and galacta knight is big dumb and gay. This time was no different.

They had a pretty awkward conversation for a while, nothing out of the ordinary.

Meta knight: ...You know.. galacta knight...

Galacta knight: ....

Meta knight: We always spend a lot of time up here

Galacta knight: So?

Meta knight: Well, don't you want to go down there for a change?

Galacta knight: I like it up here.

Meta knight: I guess it's nice up here, but I'd like a little change in scenery. Come on go to popstar for a change, there's a lot of areas to go to

Galacta knight: Ughh.. don't tell me I have to go and interact with people

Meta knight: O-oh no you don't have to. We can just go to the woods. It's pretty there and nobody is there most of the time. I bet you'll like it.. (it'll just be me and you..)

Galacta knight: Hmm..

Galacta knight thought about it and finally decided on his answer

Galacta knight: Fine.... let's hurry and go.

They both head straight back to popstar together and landed in the woods. It was particularly a bright day, so it was kinda hot. There were a hella lot of trees, also. It was a bit cluttered, but you could still move

Meta knight: See? Isn't it nice

Galacta knight: I haven't come down here in a long time... it feels so.. strange

Meta knight: Really?

Galacta knight: Yes.. I used to visit this planet here and there way back then, you probably already know that though. It looks like nothing has changed.

Meta knight: Oh Yeah, you did sort of say that before, and you're kind of right. Not much has changed

Galacta knight: ....It's kind of cluttered here....

Meta knight: Well, I'll tell you this. I don't come to the woods that often, so I don't really know my way around here. But I'm pretty sure if we stick together non of us would get los-

Meta knight turned around and realized galacta knight vanished

Meta knight: ..... galacta knight?

Meta knight looked around and didn't see him in sight

Meta knight: (damn it I think he wondered off, now I have to go look for him. But this woods is so big... he could be anywhere. Well might as well go search..)

Meta knight started searching around the woods for galacta knight to find him, he's been looking around for 10 minutes

Meta knight: Come on he couldn't have gone that far. Ugh, why did he leave in the first place?

Meta knight continued to look for him until he stumbled into some feathers on the ground

Meta knight: Hmm.. feathers? They look like galacta knights... They lead to.. over there, that's probably where he is

Meta knight followed the feathers on the ground and passed every tree. He continued to follow then until the feathers were eventually gone.

Meta knight: It stopped right here... so he's probably..

Meta knight walked forward and finally found galacta knight

Meta knight: Galacta knight!

Galacta knight was sitting on a tree stump with a flash of sun directed on him

Galacta knight: Meta knight

Meta knight: There you were! Why are you here? I was searching all over for you! Do you know how big these woods are??

Galacta knight: I wanted to be near the sunlight and this is the best place. I cut a tree down for this spot and it still doesn't feel right to me....

Galacta knight was talking is a soft, flirtatious tone

Meta knight: Eh?..

Galacta knight: You don't mind helping me with my problem, do you meta knight~?

Meta knights face started to slowly turning red

Meta knight: I-i uhm.. *Ahem* what do you.. mean by that?

Galacta knight: Help me find another spot you moron.

Meta knight: ...

Galacta knight: What did you think I was talking about??

Meta knight: W-WHY did you say it in that tone??

Galacta knight: What tone???

Meta knight: ...................

(To clear things up, the "tone" was what meta knight heard and galacta knight wasn't actually talking like that. It was executed better in my head :/ )

Galacta knight: Move it

Galacta knight said, being slightly annoyed, got off of the stump and shoved meta knight to the side to go find it on his own

Meta knight: Wait!

Meta knight followed him, and they were both walking together through the woods. They've been walking for minutes now and the sun was slowly going down

Meta knight: I'm going to be honest, I don't think you're going to find a spot. The chances are low and I just think we're wasting our time

Galacta knight: The last time I checked I didn't ask for your input. Just put a sock in it until I find a place

Meta knight: Alright, I'm just letting you know that you're wasting time

Galacta knight: What do you subject we do then smart guy?

Meta knight: Well, I don't know, but-

Galacta knight: That's what I thought, so shut it.

Meta knight: You didn't let me- eh..

Galacta knight: Hold on.. I think I see something

It was a wide empty area with little to no trees cluttering it, and a few apples on the ground and where you could see the sun. Galacta knight rushed over there in top speed

Meta knight: Wait galacta knight!

Meta knight chased after him, not paying attention and accidentally tripped and rammed his head into a tree head first extremely hard. Galacta knight heard this and stopped on his tracks to see what it was

Galacta knight: Meta knight!-

Galacta knight ran up to him to see if he was alright and meta knight was on the ground, rubbing his head

Galacta knight: Meta knight are you-

Before galacta knight could finish his sentence he realized that meta knights mask began to slowly slide off, until

**crack**

His mask completely broke, revealing his true identity!!1!

Galacta knight: !!

Meta knight: ngh.. huh?... CRAP MY MASK! IT BROKE! DONT LOOK AT ME

Galacta knight: Meta knight-

Meta knight got up, covered his face and disappeared in a panic

Galacta knight: Meta knight! .....

Galacta knight stared at his broken mask on the ground, and decided to go search for him. Meta knight can't go far when he teleports, so he went at the very end of the woods, where there was a hill and a very clear view of the sky. It was starting to get dark by then and he didn't know what else to do. Meta knight made it there in hopes that galacta knight wouldn't find him, but he did.

Galacta knight: ..... Meta knight?

Meta knight: Gah! G-galacta knight!

But before meta knight could run off again galacta knight grabbed his arms to stop him, and made meta knight face him

Meta knight: !!

....

They both stared into each other's eyes, facing each other directly while being a little too close.

Meta knights gay-o-meter was reaching its max, and became more embarrassed and his face grew more red

Meta knight: (...we're standing so close to each other... and I don't even have my mask....)

(This is really starting to sound like a gacha life story and I apologize in advance)

Galacta knight: (He's just as adorable as I thought he would be.... )

Meta knight: ......

Galacta knight: Meta knight.... you're....

....

Galacta knight: (........ Damn it.. I almost did it again.....)

Meta knight: Im what? Just say it..

Galacta knight: You're..... a-an idiot. Why would you run off like that?

Meta knight: ....Well.. I don't like showing my face a lot... people won't take me seriously with this face.

Galacta knight: Ah.. (I understand)

Meta knight: Well now that I answered your question, may I ask why are you holding me so close?

Galacta knight: !

Galacta knight just realized how close they were and quickly shoved meta knight off of him

Galacta knight: Ugh, why didn't you say anything before

Meta knight: Sorry....

...

Meta knight: Well, you know what I look like now I guess.

Galacta knight: Pff, you look like a child.

Meta knight: Oh shut it, I bet you don't look any different.

By then the sun has completely set and the moon was coming out. They both turned around to see it

Meta knight: Well, at least we unintentionally found a place

Galacta knight: Yes but the sun isn't out now.

Meta knight: I guess, but it still looks very nice from here. You wanna stay a bit to admire it?

Galacta knight: .... why not, I guess..

They both sat down and looked at the moon. While also interacting for a bit

Meta knight: I should probably go.. I don't want people to see me like this let alone with you, no offense

Galacta knight: I don't care. I agree, I think I'm gonna leave too.

Galacta knight got up and was about to leave

Meta knight: Goodbye

Galacta knight: .......

Galacta knight left. Meta knight thought that he should leave too, and go back to get another mask. While going he got stopped by kirby who was running up to him yelling his name

Kirby: META KNIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!!

Meta knight: You could've chosen a better time kirby....

Kirby: Where's your mask?

Meta knight: It broke. I'm going to get a new one

Kirby: How'd it break?

Meta knight: I'd.... rather not talk about it.

Kirby: Oh... Well, regarding last night.. remember that question you asked?

Meta knight: .............. yes?

Kirby: Meta knight... do.. you like someone?

Meta knight: I.. well,

Kirby: YOU LIKE SOMEBODY???

Meta knight: Kirby no listen!-

Kirby: BWHAHAHA META KNIGHT LIKES SOMEBODY??!

Meta knight: KIRBY I SAID **IF** I LIKED SOMEBODY I DONT-

Kirby: IM GONNA TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THIS!!

Meta knight: KIRBY DONT YOU-

Kirby dashed off before meta knight could continue his sentence

Meta knight: (grrr..... I can't just chase him around like this.... I'll just leave him alone. He's going to get it tomorrow if he does go around telling people that, though.)

Meta knight then continued to go home and got a new mask from his drawer of masks. He then sat at a table by himself reading a newspaper, while thinking

Meta knight: (I can't stop thinking about what happened.. we were so close to each other.. I was half expecting a kiss, heh.. it would've been funny if that did happen though.... and nice.. m-mostly funny. Today was decent overall, though. I think we're starting to connect again. At least I think)

Meta knight continued to read his news paper, while far else where, galacta knight finally landed. But he was kind of having a crisis.

Galacta knight: ( ugh! What is wrong with me?? The more I'm around that idiot the more weirder I feel... I hate this feeling but it won't go away... and whatever I did back there didn't help either.)

Galacta knight: (I have to keep convincing myself that I don't like him. It shouldn't be hard, hopefully..)

It was early in the afternoon and yea u probably know this already, meta meets galacta and yada yada. It starts off pretty awkwardly.

Meta knight: Hey galacta knight

Galacta knight: ......

Meta knight: So.. uhm, about yesterday....

Galacta knight: I'd like to pretend it didn't happen.

Meta knight: Oh, alright then, understandable.. so how about-

Galacta knight turned around and started to walk away

Meta knight: Eh, where are you going?

Galacta knight: ......

Meta knight: A-at least wait for me!

And so, meta knight chased after him.

A/n: hey guys yea new part wooho yea. Hopefully this makes up for the abysmal mess that was part 9 lmao I liked this one a lot more.

I would also like to say happy 3rd anniversary to kirby star allies (even though it was like, two days ago) it is the one Kirby game where you could play as susie, and also one of my first kirby games that got me into the franchise (September 2019) so it's cool. And as usual, any mistakes will be fixed.
