*over a year later*

DIGGY’S P.O.V.

Diggy- *knocks on the door* Babe..? *hears nothing* Y/N? *pushes door open*

I walked in and she just looked so comfortable… but classy at the same time. She was on the bedsheets wearing her old blue shorts, a white Coca-Cola t-shirt and white socks while she read last month’s Elle Magazine with Harley lazily slumped at the end of the bed.

She had her hair tied up as she observed the pages of fashion, some watermelon slices on a plate beside her, a bottle of Pink Moet and some that was poured in a champagne glass on the nightstand and chocolate coated strawberries in a box on the bed too as she had her headphones in. I could hear old Mariah Carey music playing. Talk about a classy woman… 

Diggy- Babe?

Y/N- *doesn’t hear him*

Diggy- *waves his hand*

Y/N- *looks up* *takes one headphone out* Oh hey.. I didn’t see you there..

Diggy- I know.. *holds up magazine* I got your new Elle magazine thing.. *walks over with it*

Y/N- Ah, thank you.. *smiles* I’ve been reading this one forever… *takes it from him* *opens the packaging*

Diggy- You got strawberries and you ain’t even told me?

Y/N- *looks at them* Oh yeah sorry… they’re your favourite.

Diggy- *takes one* Damn right *eats it* Drinking at 11am? *shakes head* You’re losing it.

Y/N- *smirks* Anyway, what you doing today?

Diggy- Gonna head down to the studio in a lil bit then up to New Jersey

Y/N- Ah that’s nice..

Diggy- You?

Y/N- Just a few meetings here and there today… *looks at the magazine*

Diggy- Well.. later, can I take you out to eat dinner tonight?

Y/N- *looks at him* That’d be nice. What’s the occasion?

Diggy- Does there have to be one?

Y/N- *shrugs* Nah, not really..

Diggy- So it’s set. I’ll pick you up at 7…

Harley- *barks at him*

Diggy- *looks at the dog* Someone’s cranky..

Y/N- *looks at the dog* *gets up* It’s time. Someone needs a walk. *walks over to the wardrobe*

Diggy- Tell me when you leave tho.. *goes downstairs*

*a while later*

Y/N- *runs downstairs* Dig, I’m out… *put phone in pocket*

Diggy- *calls to her* Wait, come here..

Y/N- *sighs* *walks into the kitchen* Yeah?

Diggy- *pulls you in* *kisses you*

Harley- *barks at you both*

Y/N- *smiles between kisses*

Harley- *runs in circles around you both*

Diggy- *kisses and pecks your lips over and over* You like that huh?

Y/N- *nods* *kisses him again*

Diggy- How am I gonna last a day without the most perfect woman? *looks at you*

Y/N- You’ll survive.. *smiles* *touches his lips* *tries to step back* 

Harley had run around us both and tied us up in his dog lead. Y/N stepped back and fell down cause her ankles were tied, so I ended up falling on top of her because I was tied up too. Y/N almost hit her head on the ground and me falling on her didn’t help her fall but we were laughing as we were face-to-face with each other. 

Harley- *barks and wags his tail*

Y/N- Harls, you’re not helping…

Harley- *sits on the floor* *looks at you both*

Diggy- He wanted this to happen..

Y/N- Don’t eve—

Diggy- *kisses you again* I’m just so in love with you for some reason.. you know why?

Y/N- *smiles* I wish I did.

Diggy- Me too

Y/N- Okay, you’re getting all soppy and loved up and it’s creeping me out.. *laughs a little* *tries to stand up* 

Diggy- *pulls you back down* Get used to it. I want you..

Y/N- Okay, I get that but.. ew, not in front of the dog..

Diggy- Last time, I caught him watching us

Y/N- You what?!

Diggy- I don’t lie.. he was at the side of the bed..

Y/N- And you didn’t tell em, you just let him?

Diggy- *smirks a little and looks away*

Y/N- *hits him* Get the fuck off me you idiot..! *wriggles out of Harley’s lead*

Diggy- *laughs* Whatever..!

Soon enough we were both untied and free from the lead that tangled us together. She left with Harley on his dog lead and took him for a walk and not too long after, I left to go to the studio in New Jersey.

I had my producer Hit-Boy there too and I was recording crazy stuff as soon as I arrived. I don’t know what it was, but I was spitting bars and rapping like there was no tomorrow.. almost everything came out perfect first time.

Hit- You doing some good work in there…

Diggy- I know.. I ain’t know what it is. I’m just feeling good.

Hit- I know you Dig… What’s up at home?

Diggy- Nothin much. it’s all cool actually

Hit- And wifey?

Diggy- *laughs to himself* She cool. She don’t want me calling her that but I don’t care…

Hit- Aye why not? Any girl would love that

Diggy- She ain’t just any girl, that’s the thing. And I gotta whole lotta errands to run for her

Hit- Like what?

Diggy- I’m just taking her out… make her happy and everything. Huge surprise for her.

Hit- That’s dope you know.. real nice of you. Treating her like a gentleman.

Diggy- *smiles* Yeah.

YOUR P.O.V.

*an hour later*

Hairdresser- *runs his fingers through your hair* It looks so much better than before… how different do you want it to be?

Y/N- *looks in mirror* Lighter, only a lil bit tho. And more volume or something to it. It looks so dull

Hairdresser- Okay…. *grabs comb and brush*

I had my hairdresser come to the house to do my hair.. actually I had all my business at the house now. I didn’t mind walking out to the salon to get my hair done, but I liked my privacy and now because Diggy was taking me out, I wanted to look my best as I wouldn’t see him until tonight.

I had it cut so it was way over my shoulders and not to my mid-back anymore. It was dyed a lighter shade but still darker than my skin. I loved it now.

Zoey- *walks in* *sees you* Why hello there…

Y/N- *smiles* *mouths* Hi. *focuses on phone call* …Yeah, you can come over in a few hours, I’m busy here then I’m out in like ten minutes then I’m back again and out again…

Kendall- *on the phone* It’s like you’re confused as to where to go

Zoey- *stands opposite you*

Y/N- *chuckles a little*

Kendall- Okay cause I’m with Kumiko and Aria right now and we’re just hanging out so whenever we can come over, just call us

Y/N- Okay *hangs up*

Zoey- *admires you* You look much different… the media will have a lot to say about you now…

Y/N- *admires hair in mirror* Fuck them… this is for me. *smiles at her reflection*

Zoey- Alright.. well I have a family to be with in the evening and you have a boyfriend to have dinner with.. so are we going to these meetings… or nah?

Y/N- Yeah, let’s go *gets up*

DIGGY’S P.O.V.

Kendall- *puts phone in her pocket*

Aria- *looks at her* So?

Diggy- *looks at Kendall* You distracted her?

Kendall- Hopefully. She’s going to meetings right now.

Kumi- Don’t worry, she never really gets suspicious. She’s too lazy to anyway

Lorraine- Alright.. well we’ve only got a couple hours… *walks over to her desk* which diamond?

Diggy- Hm, will she like diamonds tho?

Kendall- *looks at him* Every girl does right?

Kumi- *nods* Yeah, are you crazy?

Diggy- She isn’t like every girl. She’s different. She’s classy. Just this morning, she was drinking champagne and eating strawberries while reading a magazine

Kumi- *raises eyebrows* Not every girl does that

Aria- Wait, wait, Y/N’s upgraded her life, remember that

Lorraine- *nods* She is different now

Diggy- Nah. Inside, she’s the same girl I met at a Starbucks

Aria- She’s always dreamed of having a diamond on her finger that was different to anyone else’s and it would sparkle so bright on her hand and she’d show it off to everyone…

Kumi- *smiles* That sounds like her.

Kendall- *thinks* How about.. a diamond with like, a yellow tint?

Diggy- *confused look* Yellow? Why yellow of all colours?

Kendall- Cause she has a golden skintone, right? So it’ll compliment it and look real perfect on her finger

Diggy- *scrunches face* I ain’t feeling it…

Kumi- It sounds nice, but we’d have to see it first

Lorraine- I have some but.. *looks at Diggy* What do you think?

Diggy- I just wanted a beautiful, white, shining diamond to put on her finger

Kendall- Well… I’d say the boyfriend knows best. It’s been a year and it’s time.

Kumi- I agree *smiles*

Diggy- This’ll be the best thing I’ve ever done.

*a few hours later*

YOUR P.O.V.

Zoey- Another deal secured… *looks at you* I’m beginning to think this hair is good for you..

Y/N- *laughs* You get paid, I get paid. That’s just how it works.. *plays with her hair*

*phone rings*

Y/N- *looks at it* I gotta take this.. *gets up and walks out her office*

Y/N- *answers phone* Hello?

Diggy- You ready for tonight?

Y/N- *smiles* I hope am

Diggy- Alright, I just got to Jersey and I’ll be leaving in around two three hours, okay?

Y/N- That’s cool.

Diggy- Tell Zo I said hi..

Y/N- *smiles* I will… *hangs up*

DIGGY’S P.O.V.

*half an hour later*

Rev- So, tonight?

Diggy- Everyone’s here, right?

Rev- Well yeah, everyone is..

Diggy- Good. I rented out her favourite restaurant in the city an—

Rev- Hold up Dig.. what are you planning?

Diggy- *shrugs* Somethin..

Rev- *looks at him* Something? Renting out a while restaurant for one night ain’t just something..

Diggy- I was.. I was thinking of… proposing to Y/N tonight..

Rev- Woah..! *smiles* That’s huge! Have you asked Jordan?

Diggy- He wants me to marry her.. after Khalil went to jail, he told me he wanted me to propose to her as soon as and I said I wouldn’t rush it.

Rev- *pats his back* Good man.

Diggy- I just need everyone to be there. I’m sending a private car to pick her up from the Hamptons at seven and then she’ll be there by 8:30pm to eat with all you guys then I’ll propose and everything. I got her whole family coming, her friends here and in Cali are ready for it… I want it to be special and real formal.

Rev- Sounds good. We won’t be late, not for this. not at all

Diggy- *smiles* Thanks dad…

Rev- Look at you. My son proposing to his girl.. You know it’s been so long… I think seven years now that you’ve been trippin over her

Diggy- Shit, it has. She was worth it. She always was..

Rev- I know. Otherwise you would’ve moved on by now.

Diggy- Naw, I’d never give up on her.

Rev- Remember that in the future… what you just said.

YOUR P.O.V.

*later on at the house*

*doorbell rings*

Kendall- *looks at you* You gon get that? Your guests?

Y/N- *laying on couch* Nah..

Kendall- *sighs and gets up* You’re so lazy…

Kumi- *shakes head at you* You’ll need us one day.. for better reasons *reads magazine*

Y/N- I know.. but I love you and I need you now *smiles*

Kumi- That new hair of yours has changed you..

Y/N- Oh don’t be jealous..

Kumi- Of what? I have more hair than you so just shut it..

Y/N- *smiles and shakes her head*

Kendall- *answers door* Oh hey..

Spin- Hi.. *steps in the house*

Y/N- *looks over at him* We’ve been expecting you Spinny boy!

Spin- *walks over and hugs you* How you been? Nice hair..

Y/N- The usual, and thanks… *brushes it over her shoulders*

Spin- *walks over and kisses Kumi* You okay babe?

Kumi- I’m good.. my friend here is getting lazy…

Y/N- I have to.. I’m relaxing. I do this all day, ask Harley… *looks at the dog* Ain’t that right?

Harley- *barks at you happily* 

Spin- *laughs* *looks at you* I just came over to give this to you cause you know, Dig’s busy and shit. You know how he is… *holds up a large bag*

Y/N- *raises eyebrow at him* So he sent you? *takes the bag from him* Woah, that’s heavy… *puts it on the floor* *sits up*

Spin- Yeah I know.

Y/N- Some lazy nigga.. just getting everyone to do shit for him

Kumi- *looks at you* Yeah, I can relate. I’m looking at one right now

Y/N- *looks at her* *smiles to yourself*

Spin- *shakes head* They’re one and the same, swear on that

Y/N- *opens the bag*

Inside the huge black gift bag were boxes. Just boxes. One was a Louboutin box so I opened that first and they were these pretty black heels.

Another box had this beautiful Valentino dress that was black and had a slit down the leg. It was so gorgeous, me and the girls just looked at it in awe.

The last box was the tiniest but I opened it and it was a diamond choker necklace. It was so beautiful, I didn’t stop staring at it..

Kumi- One thing.. I swear, the amount this all costs.. *looks at Spin* Why the fuck would Diggy trust you with it?

Spin- *shrugs* I’m just that nigga..

Kumi- *laughs a little*

Y/N- *gazes at the gifts* What is all this?

Spin- He wants you to wear it all tonight

Y/N- *looks at him* Seriously, when I spoke to him today, it was just dinner at 7.. now it’s some black tie affair. 

Spin- Your man… He’s full of surprises

Kendall- *gazes at the necklace* You can say that again

Y/N- Okay.. *puts everything in the boxes* Now I’m in the mood to do shit *stands up*

Kumi- So it’s gifts that make you get up and do shit? Damn, it’s like ten years ago…

Y/N- Except that was food

Kumi- *laughs* True that

Y/N- Now I can’t wait for tonight

Kendall- Neither can I…

Y/N- *looks at her* Why?

Kumi/Spin- *look at her*

Kendall- Um, because I wanna know what your doing tonight… and I wanna be there when you get ready and stuff

Kumi- Yeah, yeah me too *smiles*

Y/N- *smiles* *walks to the kitchen*

DIGGY’S P.O.V.

*an hour and a half later*

Diggy- *phone goes off* *looks at it* 

Spin- Plan in motion..

Diggy- You don’t have to pretend this is a mission.. it was a little job lol

Spin- You shoulda seen her face! she was so happy, man this is gonna be the best night

Diggy- It is. Talk later, gotta go

Diggy- *pulls up to the house* *runs inside* 

Y/N- *hears someone come upstairs* *shouts* Dig?

Diggy-*shouts back* Yeah, it’s me, Y/N.. where you at? *walks in bedroom*

Y/N- Bathroom.

Diggy- *goes to wardrobe* Oh, okay.. *takes out suit*

Y/N- I’m almost done..!

Diggy- Hold up.. wait there, okay? Don’t come out.. wait five minutes..

Y/N- *chuckles* Alright..

I raced to the car outside, put my suit in there carefully and took out some bags. I ran in the house with them and set up the candles and lit them. I turned on the hi-fi system and it was playing some old R&B music through the speakers and I positioned myself in the room.

Diggy- Come out babe…!

Y/N- *walks out* God damn Daniel Simmons, what is this? *smiles*

Diggy- For you.. I want you to relax and have a great evening until we meet again.. *takes flowers out from behind him*

Y/N- White and red roses? *takes them* They’re beautiful.

Diggy- Something you both have in common

Y/N- Smooth… *chuckles*

Diggy- I like your hair… it looks amazing on you..

Y/N- *smiles* Thanks. I did it for tonight… *smells roses* You make it seem like I won’t see you for a long time with all these surprises..

Diggy- I know.. but it’s only for you.

Y/N- It better be *kisses him*

Diggy- *wraps his arms around your waist* Spin dropped off the other stuff, right?

Y/N- *stares at his lips* Mm-hmm…

Diggy- Good. *peck you on the lips* I can’t wait to see you tonight

Y/N- *smiles* Okay..

Diggy- I love you *blows you a kiss and leaves*

KENDALL’S P.O.V.

*6:45pm*

Kendall- Y/N, you ready?!

Y/N- *in the bathroom* What is with you guys rushing me?!

Kumi- Because you need to hurry up!

Y/N- Whatever… I just thought this was a date with me and Dig, not a triple date!

Kumi- More than a triple date..

Y/N- *looks at her* What?

Kumi/Kendall- What?

Y/N- You guys are annoying..!

I forgot how big Y/N and Diggy’s house actually was. It was huge. This bedroom was bigger than any room in mine or my mom’s house and it had a separate room just for their walk-in wardrobe. I sat on their huge bed while I waited with Kumiko for her to be ready.

Ten minutes went by and finally the door opened. She was ready. Y/N stepped out looking so beautiful, I felt like crying knowing what tonight was for… Her dress and heels were amazing on her, the dress hugged every curve she had and the leg slit only made her look taller with her heels on. Her hair was tied up in a bun and some locks flowed down the side of her face and the necklace sparkled on her beautifully.

Y/N- Um, how do I look?

Kumi- *gasps* Phenomenal..

Kendall- *covers face* I’m gonna cry…

Y/N- *confused look* Why? It’s just dinner, it’s not like I’m leaving the country..

Kendall- Cause you look so amazing

Y/N- Ken, you’ve seen me like this in hair and make up it’s no different

Kumi- Fuck that, you look beautiful…

*car horn toots outside*

Y/N- *looks at clock* That’s my ride…

Kumi- Damn, Diggy doesn’t kid when it comes to time.

We all walked downstairs to the front door and outside the house were four cars waiting and a chauffeur standing by the first car. He called for Kumiko and she got in, then Kendall and then me.

Kendall- *to chauffeur* Sorry, why are there four cars? We onlt wanted three…

Chauffeur- I-It’s just what Mr Simmons requested for you ladies.. *fake smile*

Kendall- *uncertain* Oh, okay..

Chauffeur- *shuts her door* 

*cars drive off*

YOUR P.O.V.

*half an hour later*

Y/N- *watches cars drive through windscreen* *car turns off in a different direction*

Y/N- *confused* Oh, sorry.. see, this isn’t where we’re meant to be going.. Manhattan doesn’t need the exit…

Driver- Ma’am, assure me, I know where we’re meant to be going.. *focuses on road* 

Y/N- But the other cars have my friends.. they didn’t turn off the freeway like we did.. we’re going to the same place, right?

Driver- Don’t worry about it now..

Y/N- *worried look*

The car pulled up to an old building.. I had no idea where I was, no idea what I was doing here… and why was my car the only car here? I didn’t start panicking, instead I put on a front and looked strong, like I knew what was going on but inside I was freaking out. The driver stayed in his seat and so I stayed in mine. 

Driver- Ma’am, can you get out of the vehicle?

Y/N- *folds arms* Not until you tell me where I am and what I’m doing here..

Driver- *looks over his shoulder at you* So you’re playing like that?

Y/N- *serious* I don’t play games. *tosses her hair back*

Driver- Time for Plan B then..

Y/N- *scrunches face confused* *look around*

Driver- *winds down window* *waves hand*

*your car door opens*

Y/N- *someone pulls your arm* What the.. get the fu.. 

Men- *lift you out the car* *drag and pull you inside the building*

DIGGY’S P.O.V.

I stated getting worried. It was now 8:52pm and Y/N, Kendall and Kumiko weren’t here… they were late and there was no traffic.I’d checked. I started looking around the restaurant for her.

Someone came through the front of the restaurant and I looked over but it was just Kumi and Kendall. Where was Y/N?

Diggy- *stands up* You guys are late.. where’s Y/N?

Kendall- *confused look* We thought you’d know..

Kumi- Her car didn’t park up like ours did… we’ve been calling her but her phone just cuts out

Diggy- What? She’s meant to be with you guys

Kendall- We all left at the same time.. the four cars were there.

Diggy- *looks at her* Wait, four?

Kendall- That’s what I thought. I asked the chauffeur and he said you requested four.

Diggy- No, no.. I said three. Three cars.

Kumi- Well we all got into the cars and came here.. but not her

Diggy- *puts hand on head* What the fuck…?

Rev/Jordan- *see you talking* *get up and walk over* 

Rev- *looks at you all* Is everything okay?

Diggy- *turns to him* Y/N isn’t here dad..

Jordan- *looks at you all* So where is she?

Kumi- No one knows!

Diggy- *dials phone*

Jordan- I thought everything went to plan.. *looks at Diggy*

Diggy- *listens to phone dialling*

YOUR P.O.V

Two really muscular men pulled me out the car without my consent and while I kicked, screamed and protested for them to let me go and get me out of there, they refused and held me tighter.

They both dragged me in the abandoned building. It was horrible, dirty and poorly lit. There was one chair in the middle of the room and it had a light above it.. what was this, a mafia movie?

Y/N- *struggles and screams* Get the fuck off me! *throws their hands off*

Men- *throw you in a chair*

Y/N- *brushes her dress* What the fuck is going on?!

Men- *silent* *look at you* *fold their arms* 

Y/N- Tell me what the fuck is going on!

??- I’ll tell you..

Y/N- *turns around*

??- I’ve been waiting for a long long time to get my revenge on you…

Y/N- What the fuck?! What are you doing here, I thought you were gone to prison…

??- I told you.. you won’t get away with this.. *looks at the men* Tie her up.

Y/N- Wha.. *rope scratches your skin* Ouch!!

Men- *they tie you to the chair tightly*

??- *smirks* 

Y/N- *stares at them* You think this is fun?

??- It’s just like the last thing I did to you.. you know, taking you somewhere you don’t know… making everyone you love worried…

Y/N- Don’t hurt anyone.. don’t go near my family or my friends.. let me go!

??- *point at themselves* Oh, I don’t have to go near them. I’ll get someone else to… *tilts head at you* You have a boyfriend don’t you?

Y/N- *silent* 

??- *growls* Answer me.

Y/N- *swallows hard* Yeah

??- *hears a phone ring* *looks at you*

Y/N- *stares at them*

??- Give it…

Y/N- Hell fucking no.

??- *wrestles with you* *goes in your purse* *takes your phone out* *looks at the caller ID* Ah, it’s the man of the hour… *shows you the screen* 

Y/N- Let me talk to hi—

??- Hell fucking no. But… He’d be devastated if he knew his girlfriend wasn’t in safe hands, wouldn’t he? And so would daddy if he knew his daughter was about to get hurt…

Y/N- Let me go..! *shakes in the chair*

Men- *hold the chair down firmly*

Y/N- *holds back angry tears* What are you gonna do to me?

Lauren- I want what I came for in the first place before you stopped me.. and if I can’t have it. *goes close to your face* You’ll suffer.

Y/N- I’m not scared of you

Lauren- *answers call* *grabs your hair*

Y/N- *whimpers in pain*

DIGGY’S P.O.V.

Diggy- *on the phone* Y/N? Y/N, baby are you okay? say something.. talk to me…

Lauren- *pulls your hair harder*

Y/N- *screams and cries loudly* Diggy! Diggy, baby help me ple—

*call cuts off*

Diggy- *stares at phone* Y/N..?

Kendall/Kumi- Shit..

Rev- Dig, what happened? Was that Y/N screaming?

Jordan- *puts hand over face* Shit, it was…

Diggy- *almost cries* Y/N.. baby… Where the fuck is she?!
