-1x4's POV-

John Doe most likely knew something was wrong with 1x4. He always knew somehow.

1x4 thought, laying on their bed, the stab wound still there.

This was the Spectre's doing, they knew it.

This had to have been caused by the Spectre, they knew it - but why?

Right... When Two Time had stabbed them in the round, 1x4 had said "if the Spectre gets any ideas..."

Well that made sense...

However they still had a question, a question that would go unanswered for bit, why did they have the need to say that?

1x4 did not have to say that, so why did they?..

1x4 sighed. There was no point in asking questions that would go unanswered.

A question that would not go unanswered for long however was what the Spectre was planning now - according to it saying "I'll have to take a different approach" which was vague and somewhat terrifying.

They slapped their hand on their face.

Whatever was going to happen, was not good in the slightest.

Maybe they should go outside...

Get some fresh air, punch Noli, talk to John -

No.

They were not going to do that.

No way they were going to do the exact thing that the Spectre wanted them to do.

They did kind of miss seeing John Foe[intentional] though...

1x4 slapped themself in the face.

They REALLY hated this feeling.

Well, if they just talked to John Doe for maybe a moment or two it would convince the Spectre that what it happened to happen would never actually happen.

Yeah...

Yup. It would work...
