Part 65

22:45, 28 November 2022

It has been about 4 years since high school graduation and Clarke was going on her senior year in college.

Things have changed, things have stayed the same.

Its gotten better and worse and honestly, its really just all over the fucking place. So we might as well catch up on what's been going on with our college seniors.

Raven Reyes, a clinical genius.

She is attending Arkadia University majoring in engineering and minoring in mechanics.

She is currently roommates with Clarke and has been for all 4 years in college. Things have changed a lot for this one, her love life being one of them.

It's safe to say that Raven excelled in college. Even as a freshman, she was one of the smartest people in the school.

She was in all advanced classes and took it with pride because if there was one thing she knew, it was that she was a genius.

She did however hit a few rough patches.

Luna Waters, she got accepted into college back in her old town of Floukru and she studies marine biology as her major.

It was unimaginably difficult for her to be so far away from Raven and Lexa, and just all of her other friends.

With both her and Raven studying all the time and being so far away from each other, it made it difficult to find time to text, call, see each other and just communicate in general.

After their freshman year, they blew up into a huge fight over never having time for each other.

It was heartbreaking for both of them with the amount of love that they shared for each other but they broke up, no longer being suitable in each other's lives.

It was arguably one of the most difficult decisions they had to make, but they thought it would be better for both of them.

They thought.

Raven unfortunately fell back into the dark hole that it took her so long to crawl out of.

The destructive habits and actions she used to subject herself to were making their way back.

She wasn't taking care of herself. She was barely eating, hardly ever sleeping, parting all the time and drinking herself to numb.

Her grades slipped in her classes a bit but she was so fucking brilliant that she was still passing with flying colors anyways.

But personally, she was a complete wreck and Clarke tried to help, she tried but Raven was too stubborn.

Halfway through junior year, Luna unexpectedly became enrolled in Arkadia University.

She clearly didn't intend for it to happen or for Arkadia to be the school. It was the middle of the year but she had no choice because it was the only school that let her enroll.

Her father had gotten sick and being all the way in Floukru was too far for Luna to help take care of him.

She couldn't be in college that far away and help take care of her father.

He was dying and she wanted to be there for the remainder of her fathers life so she enrolled in the closest college that would let her in.

Unfortunately, that was Arkadia University.

After Luna came back so unexpectedly, Raven seemed to have spiraled even more.

Every day she was wearing herself out partying, drinking, just not taking care of herself in general and it was so much worse, she was breaking.

She went to a party one weekend and coincidentally, Luna was also there.

Well the whole school was pretty much there but that's besides the point.

There was a guy at the bar that just kept giving her more drinks that Raven accepted without even a second thought.

The more drunk she got, the more handsy the guy got with her. It started off slow and subtle, brushing hands as she passed her the drink, and placing his hand on her back as he stood next to her.

Raven was too drunk to notice at first but it started becoming so obvious that Clarke started to notice it from across the room.

"Back off Wick" Clarke said lowly through her teeth at the guy standing way too close to Raven for comfort.

"This doesn't concern you Clarke," he shot back at her but backed away from Raven just the slightest bit, showing he was taking a step back.

Clarke was significantly less drunk. She only had one drink because she was mainly there to watch over Raven.

She got pulled away and into a conversation and had taken her eyes away from her friend for like 1 minute.

Wick took this as an opportunity and slid his hand up her skirt as he grabbed her thigh.

"No," Raven protested as she removed his hand. He backed off a bit until Raven just kept drinking and became less lucid.

Wick came back to her, always circling back to her.

Raven was close to black out drunk now at this point and the night had seeped into early morning.

He put his hands on her waist and held her against the bar. Raven tried to protest but she could barely even form words with her mouth, let alone fight back.

"Stop," she mumbled. She knew he heard her but he didn't listen. One of his hands found its way under her skirt again and Raven tried to wiggle away but her body barely had any control.

Before she knew it, the hands against her waist and under her skirt were gone and the body that was pressing against her was no longer there.

Wick was laying on the floor looking very disoriented and bleeding from his nose. Raven looked around, the room spinning in her vision as she stumbled to hold herself up right.

She felt arms around her, picking her up. She would have protested but she knew the feeling.

It was familiar and she was able to recognize the feeling even when she was about to pas out.

She recognized the scent that had become her favorite a long time ago, and the one she missed for the past year.

She knew in her soul who was holding her and didn't want to refuse.

Luna was at the party. She had been keeping an eye out for Raven from afar.

As soon as she witnessed Wick make his move on Raven who was too drunk to fight back, she took action. She pulled him off of her and slammed her fist into his face, sending him to the floor.

She looked back at Raven who seemed completely out of it. She went to walk and fell over herself. Luna caught her, picking her up and putting her in her car. She caught Clarke on her way out.

"Thank you, I can't believe I looked away for one second," Clarke rambled frantically.

"It's not your fault Clarke," Luna said with a reassuring smile. Even though Luna had caused Raven so much pain, Clarke didn't hold it against her.

She knew it was a difficult situation and she knew Luna was also completely heartbroken about it as well. They kept in touch and Clarke helped Luna work through it a bit.

"I will take her back," Luna said as she got in the car.

"Thank you Luna," Clarke said as she watched her drive away.

Raven passed out in the car and Luna had to carry her to her and Clarke's dorm. She put Raven down on her bed, giving her a glass of water and aspirin on the nightstand and a bucket in case she wakes up.

As she went to leave, Raven groggily mumbled and moved in the bed. Luna stopped and kneeled down by her again to hear what she said.

"What?" Luna whispered, moving hair out of Raven's face so she could see it more clearly.

"Please don't leave me again," Raven pleaded, her voice cracking as she spoke. A tear fell from Raven's eye as she looked up at Luna.

"I will never leave you again. I promise" Luna said, squeezing Raven's hand and holding her until she fell asleep.

After that night, it was difficult because they still had problems to work out and insecurities to overcome but they had slowly started to help heal each other again.

Luna had once again pulled Raven out of her dark place. She made sure Raven ate, slept and took care of herself. They finally became whole again.

Just how it's supposed to be.

Octavia Blake and Lincoln Forrest, they both ended up deciding to go to Trikru University.

It was difficult to be away from their friends but they kept in contact and they had each other to keep them grounded.

In their sophomore year, Octavia, Lincoln and a few other classes got accepted into a grant where they could go explore new wildlife deep in the woods around the trikru territory.

It was an amazing opportunity for both of them so they accepted quickly. Because of the intense studying and hours, the communication line with the others had significantly decreased but they are both happy and in their element as they worked.

Jasper Jordan and Monty Green, they both decided to try their efforts at Arkadia University alongside Raven and Clarke.

They loved the college life, the party and the surroundings but not so much the classes.

They were both super geniuses like Raven but they didn't feel the need to continue on learning more.

After their second year, they both dropped out and started their own brewery.

They make Monty's famous moonshine and sell it legally. They have become very successful and don't regret leaving college because for them, everyday is like a college party.

Clarke Griffin, she was rooming with Raven at Arkadia University.

Clarke was going to get a medical degree and follow into her mothers footsteps but around sophomore year, she had a change of heart.

She ended up switching to an art major.

Yes, she was good and smart and successful in the classes that would help her get a medical degree, but that's not what she wanted to do.

She was passionate about art and finally had the balls to stand up and say it.

Since then, her world had been filled with so much color as she spent her day loving her classes and flying through the material.

She was an outstanding student and the best in her class.

Her classes were difficult and took up a lot of time so it left gaps in her relationship with Lexa who had stayed in Polis.

Though, because Lexa wasn't attending college herself, they had more time to communicate with each other and she was fairly close to visit when she wanted.

Granted, they had rough times. They had times where they wanted to break, where they wanted to give up, but they had made a promise the day Clarke left, and they intended to keep that promise.

Lexa Woods.

Well, it looks like we have to find out....
