"I ain't apologizing for shit Dayvon, I walked into a situation that ain't look right so I handled it"

"Fine.......come on India, let's go find the troll" Asian said finally takin her stank ass attitude out the room

"Why they act like that for real Durk?"

"Shit ion know bro...me and India been arguing a lot more for real, I'm getting real sick of that shit"

"Yeah.......they acting jealous over that girl and she ain't even doin shit, when you hire her anyway?"

Sarai's POVOlai finally left and I gathered my cleaning materials to finish my shift

I started washing the windows and I heard snickering and evil laughter approaching, great

I heard someone clear their throat and I turned around to see India and Asian

This time I wasn't nervous, I will stick up for myself in a calm and orderly fashion

"Look, imma apologize for pushing you but girl you can't just be hanging around our men like that and think it's not gon be a problem" Asian spoke

"I work here"

"It ain't look like you was working"

"I had just walked in there, I didn't even have a chance to start cleaning before you two made a scene" I said in my own defense

Of course I find Durk attractive and Von attractive, but I have morals and standards. I respect their relationships and would never cheat. I wouldn't do anything outside of marriage.

"Let's just drop this shit, it don't seem like you tryna start a problem or nothin, but just know I got security watchin yo ass just in case you try some shit" India spoke

I turned back around to continue cleaning and next I know it the bucket of water I was using was being poured over my head

As I was now drenched in soapy water I felt powerless and began to cry angry tears 

"Aye what the fuck goin on?!" I heard Von yell unexpectedly because I thought he would be working on music downstairs with Durk

India and Asian were both just laughing at me still and I felt so stupid

"Asian I'm done with yo petty ass, you act like a fuckin child, this shit ain't funny"

"Von I ain't even do it!!!" Asian laughed even harder

"Aight well you watchin it laughin and shit, we done, I don't want to be with yo bum ass no more"

"Von stop—

"Back yo wack ass up" Von said pushing her back and walking over to me

He took his shirt off and started wiping the water and soap off my face

I now could slowly open my eyes and couldn't help but notice his abs and well ... 😌

"Thank you........" I whispered regaining my focus

"What the fuck goin on?" I heard Durk ask out of nowhere

"I don't know bae—

"Fuck did you do now India?"

"I just poured the water on her head—

"What the fuck? Why?"

"She wasn't cleaning right"

"India take yo ass to the room now" Durk said seriously and she followed his instructions

"My uniform is ruined......." I said lowly as I attempted to keep cleaning

"You can be done for the day here" Durk said handing me $500

I was so shocked but this time I gladly accepted the money due to what just happened

"Aye, just come with me, I'll help you out" Von said extending his hand out to me and I couldn't read Durk's expression

"Nigga did you really use yo shirt to help dry her off?" Durk chuckled

"I ain't have a damn towel or nothin, a nigga know how to be resourceful" Von smiled down at me continuing to say "you know I came to find you to apologize for Asian pushing you and now this shit?"

"Hey look......." I said holding back tears "I appreciate the apology and help but I think I'm just going to gather my things and leave" I said walking back towards the elevator

Hopefully Bryce and Olai are in the room so we can get out of here

We have $500 now so that's at least a start, I can't take anymore of this

"Aye hold on, whatchu mean you leaving?!" Durk said with him and Von following right behind me

"I really appreciate everything you've done Durk but I feel I have caused more problems than helped"

"Aye look........" Durk started but stopped but then started again "ion really know how to say this shit but uhhhh.................don't go, I'd be worried about y'all...stay here"

I was shocked he was so adamant about us leaving since he said he'd be kicking us out anyway...

"You can come stay with me if you want" Von offered out of nowhere

Doesn't sound like a bad offer but I'm pretty sure I know what his real intentions are

Besides, Durk really went out of his way and did us a huge favor...I don't want to be disrespectful and leave with his best friend

"Nah you need to chill and focus on this damn song we need to finish"

Durk left out the room I assume to find a shirt for Von to borrow

Von looked back towards me and said "look like you need a change of clothes too"

I looked down at my soaked uniform and then back up at him saying "I'll manage"

He gave me a smile showing all the diamonds in his mouth as Durk walked back into the room

"Here" he said throwing a plain white T-shirt at Von's head

Then he unexpectedly walked over to me and handed me a completely new outfit to wear

Once I examined what he gave me I was so shocked

I never thought I'd hold a Gucci purse

I have at least $5,000 in my hands?!?

I know this has to be India's stuff and she'll be furious if she sees me wearing it

"Ummm.......Durk?"

"I Uhhh...really appreciate you giving me this outfit but I'm afraid I can't wear it...I've never even held anything that cost this much"

"Ahhh well consider it a gift or somethin for the way you been treated, besides I need you to babysit my kids ... me and India actually have to head out"

"Oh ........... will India be mad if I have this purse and shoes?" I asked nervously

"Nah, don't worry about that" he reassured me but I already know the real answer to my question

"Well I guess imma head out then since you got new plans nigga" Von interrupted

"Yeah, you was on bullshit anyway, we can finish at the other studio next week or somethin" Durk replied

I wonder where he's going and why he's suddenly in such a rush to leave...

"It was nice seeing you Sarai right?" Von said to me

"Yes......" I responded fidgeting with the clothes in my hands

"Why you apologizing, you ain't do shit but be beautiful" Von said as he gave me a side hug and started walking out

His cologne smelled so good it overwhelmed me into a smile

"Hope to see you here next time" he added before finally disappearing

I turned to the direction where Durk was but he was now gone to

I proceeded to go to Bryson, Olai and I'd room to finally change out of this ringing wet uniform

"Hey SARAI" I heard my named called as I entered

"Hey Bryce..." I whispered

"Huh? What's wrong, you didn't have a good first—

"Don't want to get into it, how was your first day?"

"Smooth as fuck, I'm glad we got to finish early today. I basically just washed all the cars and made sure they were filled with gas for the first half.......but uh.......you look like you went swimming and I see you got a new outfit to put on, that Gucci?" he asked examining what I was holding

"Definitely didn't go swimming, more like I had the bucket of soap and water I was using to clean with poured on my head by India"

"Fuck is her problem?" Bryson responded with an angry look on his face now

"Well apparently her and Asian Doll thought I was spending too much time around their men, when all I was doing is cleaning Durk's studio how he asked me to"

"Asian Doll was over here? The one they say Von was messing with?"

"Yes so apparently their dating...and the funny thing is Von was flirting with me today...he tried to get me to sleep with him and leave with him...he offered me thousands of dollars"

"and you ain't take it?!?"

"No I'm not a whore Bryson, besides that would be wrong considering what Durk did for us......but anyway before I was rudely attacked with the bucket of water, I was also pushed on the ground when I was down in the studio"

"That's besides the point Bryson..." I said shaking my head

"I'm just saying, who would've ever thought some shit like this would happen? You better let them niggas trick off on you if they want to Sarai."

"Seriously Bryce after all the abuse today I was just ready to leave...I changed my mind when Durk actually asked me to stay and gave me this..." I smiled showing him the $500"

"Damn!!! We lit!!!" Bryson said jumping up and spinning me around in a circle "maybe we should just get out of here now"

"No........let's make a little more money first, I mean we will have almost $13,000 together by the end of next week, then we leave"

"Alright I guess that make sense...sure don't seem like he wanna kick us out if he givin you money and shit"

"Who knows but...Durk said I'm babysitting tonight so...I'm going to go shower and change now" I smiled

"Well just know that they jealous that they boyfriends like you that's all"

"I mean if you related to me you got to be...besides niggas don't care about shit like that, it's obvious he was feelin you from the beginning" Bryson said confusing me

"Umm Du'Mier can you please put that down until it's time for bath time?"

"No, you not my mom" he responded throwing the rubber ducky at my head

This has been an extremely long night...Durk's children are extremely spoiled and lacking home training

All six of them are over here and this is pure chaos

Bryson is knocked out asleep and Olai is in the living room watching a movie with Zayden and Willow

Du'Mier is still eating his dinner that I made with Angelo, Bella and Skyler

"How do you like the tacos?" I asked the four of them as they continued to eat

"They good" Angelo responded and Bella and Skyler just smiled in agreement with him

"They better than what India be making..." Du'Mier added and the rest of them began to laugh

As soon as Willow heard her moms name she screamed "BOY SHUT UP, I'M TELLIN"

"Make me little girl" Du'Mier responded throwing his limes across the room at her

"Oh no Du'Mier you don't want to get the floor dirty, I just cleaned it"

"Ain't that yo job" he responded with his little smart mouth

If I ever responded to my mom like that she would've beat the heck out of me

Willow walked right up to Du'Mier and shoved his food in his face

The other 5 of them along with Olai all started laughing as Du'Mier jumped out his chair and started chasing Willow

"Don't run" I said running after them and suddenly Du'Mier started punching Willow down to the ground

"Hey, stop immediately" I yelled trying to pull them apart but Du'Mier kicked me in my knee aggressively

What makes him think he can put his hands on a girl? Durk really must not be around enough to be teaching him how to grow into a nice young man, not an abusive one.

"Du'Mier if you don't stop I'll be forced to get in contact with your dad" I said going to pull him off again and finally he let go

Willow got up and took off running and crying in another direction while Bella and Skyler followed behind her

"Your dad will definitely know about this Du'Mier that was unacceptable" I scolded

"Tell em then, do I look scared water girl?"

"Excuse me?"

"I heard you got super soaked earlier"

"Go to your room" I demanded

"Make me"

"Bro, just listen to her, you were wrong to do that to Willow" Angelo said shoving Du'Mier backwards

"Hey, no more fighting!!!" I interjected but now Angelo and Du'Mier were fighting

As I was attempting to pull them apart Du'Mier grabbed a vase off the table and broke it on Angelo's head

"STOP IT NOW" I yelled gently grabbing his wrist and pulling him towards me but he slipped and fell on a piece of glass

"AHHHHHHHHH FRICK" he yelled grabbing his now bleeding leg

"That's what you get loser" Angelo said kicking him in the stomach and stomping away

I looked around and Zayden and Olai were out of sight

This is just too much for one person to watch seven kids, I am not fit for this job

I cleaned up the mess and dishes and went to check on Willow

"Are you okay?" I asked opening the door she, Bella and Skyler went in

"I'm okay" she responded with an attitude

"Well, I will make sure your dad and mom knows what happened. I can assure you Du'Mier will not get away with that."

"Thank you" she responded a little happier now

"Do you girls need anything else before I go and check on the boys?" I asked

"No, you're the best babysitter we've had, thanks" Bella responded as they all started to watch tv

"Great...I'm glad I can help, if any of you need anything just call my name"

They all shook their heads yes in agreement as I went to find Angelo

I saw he was outside playing basketball with himself so he's good for now

Next Zayden and Olai........I've checked almost everywhere on this floor and I can't find them anywhere

I opened one of the bathrooms and saw them in there kissing

"OLAI BLOOM WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?" I yelled upset and I never yell

"GET OUT SARAI!!!" she yelled back but I'm not having this

"Zayden go and find your brother Du'Mier and make sure he doesn't put his hands on anyone else" I demanded and he followed, good choice

I yanked Olai out the bathroom and dropped down to her level

"Are you out of your mind? Have you forgotten that you are just 10 years old!!! You just gave away your first kiss, you can never get that back Olai."

"No Olai, those are not decisions you get to make yet. Go downstairs with Bryson we will all talk about this later."

She took off crying and I wanted to cry myself from all this stress I'm undergoing

I walked out the bathroom and back to where they were eating to try and find Helen or Henry so I can get in contact with Durk and India to let them know what happened

As soon as I walked back in the room I saw Durk looking around confused

He turned around immediately and said "why is it so quiet in here?"

"Oh, so much just happened...I was just coming to find Helen or Henry to get in contact with you or India since well...I don't have a phone or your numbers but basically Willow and Du'Mier got into a physical fight. I was able to get him off but then Angelo started fighting Du'Mier for hitting Willow. Du'Mier broke a vase onto Angelo and ended up cutting his leg. I was able to calm the rest of the kids down but I haven't found Du'Mier yet to see how he's doing."

"Damn, well thank you for letting me know all that. I can't believe they was acting like that around you, they usually only do that with people they know and comfortable with."

"Yeah I don't know what's gotten into him but I'm sure you can take it from here."

"Yeah I'm on his ass tonight, I just tried one of them tacos over there, that's what you made them for dinner?"

"Yes..."

"They was bomb, I'm bout to get one more...yo other food looked good too"

"I'm glad you liked them...I may as well tell you I caught Zayden and Olai in the bathroom kissing while all of that was going on as well."

"My boy" Durk laughed and I was shocked it didn't bother him

"You don't think their too young?" I awkwardly asked

I busted out laughing for the first time in awhile and said "hmmmm...I was probably like 18"

I shrugged my shoulders and just stared down at the floor

"28" he quickly said before biting his fourth taco 🌮

I didn't want him to see me blush so I quickly turned around to see a pissed off India

"India calm the fuck down, she was just telling me what happened with the kids" Durk interjected standing in between us now

"Durk...if you don't get her the hell out of here I'm beating both y'all asses"

"Relax" I said fed up "I'll just leave" I responded nonchalantly walking away

"Good hoe gon and get back in the cardboard box with yo hopeless ass"India yelled back

I finally got to the elevator so I can finally leave this hell hole and I felt a hand touch my shoulder

"Fuck!" I jumped back turning around and I saw Durk standing directly behind me

"You scared me..." I nervously laughed

"You was finally acting normal around me earlier, you gon be shy again?"

"No.......I— don't want to cause problems in your household so I can just leave...it was all just a misunderstanding anyway..."

"I get it Durk but this isn't good for my mental health, she hates me for no reason and I've constantly been physically attacked...I'm already going through enough in my personal life...she called me hopeless in which I am, not too long ago I had nothing..." I responded lowly on the verge of tears

"Don't cry, I promise ain't no more shit like that gon happen, you been a huge help here already...imma be here for y'all until y'all good" Durk said pulling out $10,000 and putting it directly in my hand not giving me a chance to say no

My eyes lit up 🤩 and I couldn't believe how much money I was holding

I finally looked back up and Durk was gone...
