"Charan Singh, Devangini ko ghar chhor aaiye,"Suryavardhan commanded his attendee.

"Charan Kaka, nahi. Aap jaiye. Gini ko ghar hum chhor aayenge, yah toh khud nikal jaayenge usey lekar humesha ke liye,"Rishabh said sternly.

"Kiyu zidh kar rahe ho bete? Meghatri has waited for you since years and..."

"And what about our family image?"Shalakha asked.

Getting him and my daughter married will spoil three lives,"he said and came ahead and patted on Rishabh's head. "I have seen you since childhood. I am glad you have become such an ideal man."

"Thank you Uncle, and I am sorry. I am sure Megha will get a nice guy who will love her and cherish her,"Rishabh said.

Yudhishthir gave a nod and turned towards Meghatri, saying,"Aaiye bete. Chaliye."

"I won't go! Aap jaiye,"Meghatri said stubbornly and came ahead and removed Devangini's hand from Rishabh's hand forcefully, shouting,"chhoro humare Rishi ko. He's mine."

"Megha!"Rishabh yelled at her and she cupped his face, saying,"Rishi, tum iskey saath kabhi khush nahi rahoge. Hum pyaar karte hain tumsey, saccha wala. Isey chhor doh."

"Yeh koi cheez nahi hain Megha. Aur agar chhorna hi hain tu tum humein chhor doh. Bhagwan ke liye chhor doh. I don't love you. You're my friend and you'll always remain so. But please don't force me to love you in a romantic way. That's not possible. I am sorry. Go home,"Rishabh said, leaving her hands and standing closer to Devangini.

Yudhishthir held Meghatri and took her along, while she struggled against his grip, trying to hold Rishabh, but he dragged her away somehow.

"Dekha kya haal huya uska? Devi, humney bharosa kiya tha tum par. Humare peeth peeche aisa khel khelgayi tum?"Meenakshi blamed Devangini.

"Rani Maa main..."

"Kya main? Dosti ke aarh mein humare bholey bhaley bete ko phasa liya tumney?"

"Mom! I think you need to remember that you're a queen and not some random woman from the common household,"Hardik's voice startled them as he walked into the palace.

Durdhara walked down the stairs and Meenakshi understood that she had made a call to him, calling him back from the office. Andrew stood near the door of his room, deciding to enjoy the scene, thinking,"I thought they'll force Rishabh into marrying the princess somehow, but they couldn't! Impressive! Seems like he has a backbone, unlike his father."

"Harry! Not you. Stay out of this matter,"Suryavardhan said.

"I won't! It's about my brother. Rishi, you'll marry the girl of your choice, I'll make sure that happens. Hum bhi dekhte hain kaun yeh shaadi rok paata hain,"Hardik declared.

"Harry tum..."

"Mom! I think we should support Rishi in this matter. Why to force him into marrying someone he doesn't love? Had he not been in a relationship then we could have convinced him into marrying Princess Meghatri, but that's not the scenerio here. He's a grown up man and has the right to take up his decision,"Durdhara said, coming there and Meenakshi frowned as she looked at Suryavardhan and added,"Dad, Devangini is a doctor, she belongs to a good family. What else is needed? Also, this will strengthen the reason we had given behind Dadabhai's marriage too."

"How?"Suryavardhan asked and she replied,"People will see that your other son is also marrying a girl who isn't from the royal clan. That will polish our image as a modern and liberal family. Moreover, Devangini is such a capable person. She can join our hospital too and help us in maintaining the hospital chains. Abb akele Dadabhai aur Ranaji sab kuch kab tak samhalenge? Hain na?"

"Hmm,"Suryavardhan said thoughtfully and Durdhara looked at Hardik who smirked at her.

"Zindegi mein ek bohot accha kaam kiya tha aap ne Bhai. That is marrying Bhabi,"Rishabh whispered to Hardik who hit him with his elbow.

"Tum chup kiyu ho? Darr rahi ho?"Rishabh asked Devangini and she nodded a no and whispered to him,"Mujhe bura lag raha hain. Nobody wants me to be with you."

"Don't think about others. I want you to stay with me, that's it,"Rishabh said. "Besides, Bhai and Bhabi wants you here. I am sure Dadabhai will want the same. Aur rahi sawaal baaki sabki toh I think Dad will agree too now."

"Thik hain. Durdhara, aap Meenakshi ke saath Devangini ke ghar jaiyega aur rishta pakka karke aaiyega. Aaj shaam ko hi,"Suryavardhan said.

"Par suniye toh...Megh Kanwar..."Meenakshi was about to protest, but he stopped her.

"Megh Kanwar will suffer because of your stubborn son's stubborn attitude. I am sure he will never keep her happy if they get married forcefully,"Suryavardhan said when Kadambari Devi was brought down by her attendees.

"Hum soh kya rahe theh yaha humare Golu ki shaadi tey hogayi?"she asked in an irritated tone. "Voh bhi Megha Kanwar ke saath!"

"Aapko purani khabar di gayi hain Maa Sa. The latest news is, your Golu is marrying Devangini,"Shalakha said, hoping to add some spice, but got disappointed as Kadambari Devi happily exclaimed,"Kya? Really? Another good decision. Very good."

"Maa Sa?"Suryavardhan and Meenakshi said together and she said,"what? I am happy. Humein toh Devi hi pasand thi apne Golu ke liye. Nobody will suggest anything otherwise, okay? My blessings are with them."

She came ahead and blessed the new couple, finally bringing a smile to Devangini's face while Andrew said,"Goodness! Daadi Sa! Seriously?"

"You have given a perfect checkmate, sweetheart,"Hardik said, embracing Kadambari's shoulders and she said,"hum purane khiladi hain, rajkumar."

"Aur pakke khiladi bhi,"Rishabh said and gave her a hug.

She extended her hand towards Devangini who hugged her happily while Durdhara came to Hardik's side and held his arm. "Thank you, for coming."

"Aap humein bulaye aur hum na aaye, is that even possible?"he asked, making her smile, while Suryavardhan said,"Then it's decided. Since Maa Sa too wants this matrimonial alliance, let's go ahead with it."

"Devi, ghar jaakar sabko bata dena ki hum aur Mom shaam ko arahe hain aapke ghar, humare pyaare devarji ka rishta leke,hmm?"Durdhara said to Devangini and then looked at Meenakshi and asked,"hain na Mom?"

Meenakshi sighed and gave a nod before walking away to her room.

In the evening, Shubman was standing and staring at the cityscape from their terrace. Rishabh came there, while asking Devangini about Meenakshi and Durdhara who had already reached their home.

"Tum na tension matt lo aur,"he said.

"Tension toh hogi hi na. Your Mom is clearly not happy with this matrimonial match. She prefers princess Meghatri,"Devangini said in a nervous tone.

"Offh ho! Mom will understand with time. Tum koi garbar matt kar dena nervous hokar. Relax! Shaadi honeh jaa rahi hain humari, we aren't going to a war."

"Yah whatever. Let me get the lemonade ready now Bye."

"Ah haaannnn! Lemonade and all haan? Good! Good! Acche se ready karo. Sasuralwaley jo hain tumhari,"Rishabh teased.

Devangini chuckled and said,"huh! I'll tell a no."

"You can't. Because you love me,"Rishabh said cutely before disconnecting the call with a chuckle.

"Pagal insaan,"Devangini murmured and then kissed his photo which was her phone's current wallpaper.

"Hogaya baat?"Shubman asked Rishabh who came and stood beside him.

"Hmm. Tu apni bata. Why are you standing here alone?"

"Aisey hi. You know, there is this lady, Manyata Shastri. She's a renowned singer. She was Guruji's student. I mean, in his first batch. She loves me a lot. I don't know why. Whenever she's around she'll always show motherly affection towards me."

"So you're standing out here and thinking about motherly affection in place of thinking about Chandrika? How boring!"Rishabh said with a frown.

"Shut up Rishi. What to think about her haan?"

"You tell me. You both seem to be getting closer with time."

"We are participants in the same reality show and are from the same gurukul, so yeah."

"That's it? Again so boring. Tum humare bhai kaisey huye?"

"Haan haan! Tumhare toh life mein romance hi romance hain na abhi? Bada aaya! Bhaag!"

"Dadabhaiiiiii!"he whined and Virat frowned as Rishabh added in the meantime,"Itihaas gawah hain ki sach bolnewalon ko aisey hi chup karaya jaata hain,"and Hardik started chasing him around.

"Ruk tera itihaas banate hain hum. Abhi shaadi tudwa denge,"Hardik said.

"Aap kuch nahi kar saktey. Sacche pyaar karnewalon ki kabhi haar nahi hoti hain Bhai,"Rishabh said dramatically only to earn a slap from Hardik.

"I am the one who took your sacche pyaar ka side. Ek maarenge pakadke,"Hardik said wrapping his arm around Rishabh's neck and pulling his hair.

"Dadabhai! Dadabhai! Save me,"he whined for help and Virat said getting fed up of their antics,"You people literally didn't grow up yet. Go back to school. And Harry! What is this? You're hitting the kids."

"Kids? Dadabhai? Seriously? Kids? This kid is getting married and the other one is also having a setting with someone for sure,"Hardik said.

"Harry, language,"Virat added.

"Aap language chhoriye Dadabhai, insaaf kijiye. Humare saath aur Rishi ke saath yeh jo boora bartaav kiya jaa raha hain, iska kya? We want justice!"Shubman said and Rishabh added,"Yes yes! We want justice!"

"Le tera justice,"Hardik said and squeezed him hard and he yelled,"Dadabhaiiiii! Bhai is squishing me."

"What are you people? Five?"Virat asked, leaning against the railing.

"Maan! See! This is how people with power behave. One is standing there seeing injustice, the other is doing injustice. Torturing an innocent soul like me,"Rishabh said and Hardik rolled his eyes and tickled him saying,"Le torture 2.0."

"I will take revenge on your behalf, brother,"Shubman said and ran towards them shouting,"Akraman! Akraman!"and Hardik caught him too and wrapped his other arm around his neck, saying,"Abb bol akraman."

"Arey Bhai, we are just playing,"Shubman added while Virat murmured,"I am so done with these three,"and then smiled as Hardik kissed Shubman and Rishabh's foreheads and brought them towards him.

"Lijiye Dadabhai, kalke aaye bacche chaley theh hum pe attack karne,"he said and Rishabh protested,"Bhai, because we respect you that's why we didn't do anything. Huh! Look at my biceps. I can hit twenty men at a time."

He showed his biceps and Hardik and Shubman squeezed them while the latter said,"Vaisey Bhai, his would-be wife is a doctor. I am sure she won't let Rishi eat whatever he feels like. Abb toh diet control hoga pura."

Rishabh's smile vanished while Hardik added,"Haan haan! Now Rishu will only eat boiled veggies and chicken soup. Fruits and max to max baked salmon."

"What nonsense! No! Hum jo marzi khaayenge. Dadabhai..."

"What Dadabhai? This is good. You're a prince not a bodybuilder. Diet well and eat boiled things. I'll support Devangini if she controls your diet. In fact, go vegan,"Virat said making him frown while Hardik and Shubman laughed.

"Aur karo love marriage. Abb kya hoga tera Rishu? Gaye tere chhay chhay boiled eggs, teen chaar baar ka protein shake, extra breast pieces of chicken, Laal Maas, masala omlette, chholey kulche and what not,"Shubman teased.

"Arey arey, it's alright, our Rishi will stop being a bodybuilder. He will be a model and achieve a zero figure for Devi,"Hardik added.

"Haan and that is good. Tujhe kaunsa body banane ke liye medal diya jaayega president ke taraf se? You can obviously have boiled things. Look at me, even I am vegan now. As I said, be a vegan, Rishi,"Virat said.

Rishabh went and sat on a sitting space and the other three followed up and he said,"Jaltey ho aap sab humsey. Aap logon ke aisey doley sholey nahi hain na humare jaisey. Huh!"

He flexed his muscles while Hardik said,"That means Devangini is marrying a bodyguard and not a var."

"Haan! Var nahi bodyguard hain. Mandap ko ukharenge yeh aur Sunny Deol jaisa bolenge ki dhai kilo ka haath hain humara,"Shubman added and they did a high five.

"Dadabhai dekhiye na,"Rishabh whined and Virat said,"Okay okay enough,"he sat beside Rishabh and said,"now listen. Humari baat dhyan se sunna. This is a very crucial moment of your life. You're going to get married to the lady you have loved and she knows how much you love her. Anything less from your side will break her heart, Rishi. Never ever do anything which will distant her from you. Hmm? Hum anjaaney mein kuch aisa kar jaatey hain yah bol jaatey hain jissey the thread of our relationship gets weakened. Beware of that. Don't do that. Okay? Baaki tum samajhdaar ho, sab samhaal loge."

"Jee Dadabhai,"Rishabh said and gave a hug to Virat and Hardik joined, saying,"I also want a hug."

"Me too,"Shubman added, joining them and Virat kissed the crown of their heads one by one, hugging them tightly.

Andrew, who had been seeing them from the adjacent wing of the palace, said,"I hope when time takes a test, this love and bond of unity stays the same. Huh!"

Devangini kept the royal gifts aside when Durdhara came to her and said,"Abb nikalte hain hum. Hmm?"

"Bhabi, thodi der aur ruk jaatey toh..."

After taking a leave from Devangini's home when Durdhara came and sat inside the car, Meenakshi immediately asked the driver to drive off.

"Aap se ek baat kehena chahenge hum, Durdhara,"she said suddenly, and Durdhara looked up from her phone, asking,"Yes Mom?"

"Humney aap se pehele bhi kaha hain ki I expect you to think only about Hardik and your future. You're participating in business work and that's absolutely fine. Haq banta hain aapka. But apart from that, you're taking interest in the lives of other family members too and I am not liking it much. First Snehanvi and now Devangini. Fine, at least Devangini and her family lineage is better than Snehanvi, but still, I am upset that Rishi turned down the matrimonial alliance with the Rajawats. Anyways, aaj aapko Harry ko iss tarha se bulana nahi chahiye tha. He isn't your lawyer that you'll use him to take a stand for your wish everytime."

"Mom, I beg to differ from you regarding this matter,"Durdhara said firmly. "Ranaji is my husband. It's his duty to take a stand for me, especially when I am right. He has done his duty. He was free in office hence he had come. Being his wife, I had just informed him about what was going on in home. That's it. Also, the other members in whose life I take interest, are my own family members. I am not just Ranaji's wife, I am this family's daughter-in-law too, Mom. I hope you're understanding."

Meenakshi sighed and held her hand, saying,"Selflessness might cost you your life someday, Durdhara. Aap humare liye khaas hain kiyuki humare bete aap se beyhadh mohabbat karte hain. I don't want any harm to come over you. Please think only about yourself and Hardik sometimes. Hmm?"

Durdhara gave a nod and said,"Jee Mom,"while thinking,"aisa kiyu kaha Mom ne? Is there something which she knows and we people don't?"
