Chapter XX- 𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑘 𝑦𝑜𝑢

Mikasa POV

I approached Sasha after talking with Eren. I could already tell my face was as red as a tomato and Sasha obviously noticed. She raised an eyebrow eyeing me suspiciously.

"𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐝?"-Sasha questioned me

"𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠."-I responded

Her eyes widened

"𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠."-She said

I tried to cover my blush with my hands but failed miserably. She placed her hand on her hips and looked me up and down and cocked an eyebrow.

"𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬?"-She asked

𝑀𝑎𝑛 𝑠ℎ𝑒'𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧..."-I answered

"𝐎𝐡.. 𝐨𝐡𝐡....... 𝐎𝐇!!"-She beamed

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄-𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧-𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐰𝐨-𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐢𝐝-𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬."-She stammered

"𝐘𝐞𝐬.."-I facepalmed

Sasha went quiet and I looked up at her and she looked as if she was about to explode.

"𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐀 𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍!"-She declared and ran towards the others.

"𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧!"-I hushed her and ran after her.

"𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚!"- I yelled after her_____________________________

Eren POV

I watched Mikasa chase after Sasha and couldn't help but laugh, Reiner and Bertholdt we're still shocked that Mikasa had kissed me.

"𝐃𝐮𝐝𝐞.."-Reiner started

I faced Reiner and cocked an eyebrow.

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭?"-I asked bitterly

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠."-Reiner finished

"𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈 𝐚𝐦, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚."-I retorted and stood up from the bench

𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡'𝑠 𝑠𝑜 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑐𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑀𝑖𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑎 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼 𝑘𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔?- 𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡

𝑊𝑎𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑒 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑎 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑜𝑟..- 𝐼 𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑑

I stepped out of the gym about to leave the building but that was when I fely a hand grip on my shoulder. I turned around to see Armin and Ymir.

"𝐘𝐞𝐚?"-I asked

"𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞?"- Armin asked me

"𝐈𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞?"-I played dumb

Ymir rolled her eyes.

"𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚... 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰."-Ymir finished

"𝐘𝐞𝐚 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞, 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭?"-I asked a bit aggravated

Ymir raised her hands up defensively and shook her head.

"𝐍𝐨 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝?"-Ymir asked and a smirk grew on her face

"𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭."-I said with a sigh.

We stood there in silence, we could hear the faint music from inside the gym.

"𝐎𝐤.. 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭?"-Armin questioned me

"𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐚 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭, 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬."-I asnwered

"𝐎𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲."-Armin decided

𝑁𝑎𝑛𝑖?

"𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡..."-I hesitated

Ymir tilted her head and her smirk grew wider

"𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝."-Ymir joked as she leaned closer

"𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮."-I snapped

She chuckled and went back to her original position and opend her mouth once again.

"𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐡𝐞𝐫."-She said and her smirk vanished

"𝐘𝐞𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞."-I agreed

"𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰."-I waved and exited the building.__________________________________

It waa Monday morning and I was very nervous. I never get like this with anyone. Today I am supposed to ask Mikasa what we are exactly. Ever since the kiss I couldn't stop thinking about her so I needed to get this over with.

All the thoughts kept running through my head. I shook my head and continued walking and picked up my pace.

I arrived at the front of the school and walked into the building ignoring everything around me. I didn't even acknowledge Armin and Ymir who we're by the lockers. I kept walking and then I bumped into someone.

"𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫-"-I cut nyself off when I realised it was Mikasa.

"𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲."-I apologized and helped her up.

"𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐤 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧."-She said and straightened her clothes.

"𝐒𝐨 𝐈- 𝐈 𝐮𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠."-I stammered

"𝐇𝐦, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭?"-She asked and looked into my emerald orbs as I stared at hers aswell. I could feel the heat rising ito my cheeks and I looked away, trying to orevent her from seeing the blush that had dispersed.

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧?"-She called me but I kept looking away in embarrassment.

"𝐘-𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐚𝐬𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫?"-I proposed and walked past her but she got hold of my wrist and dragged me somewhere.

We we're in the storage room and this time she made sure to stop the door frim closing by placing her foot infront of the door.

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧."-She started

"𝐘𝐞𝐚?"-I asked

"𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝, 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞."-She assured me

I sighed and looked up at the ceiling thinking if I should just leave it be or to man up and asker her. I looked back down at her.

"𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭?"-I asked her

She nodded and I could see the faint blush on her cheeks

"𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐟 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰."-I hesitantly continued

She tilted her head and cocked an eyebrow.

"𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠?"-She questioned

𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑠𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑡ℎ 𝑌𝑒𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑟, 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑠𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑡ℎ

I cursed myself in my head and face palmed from embarrassment. Mikasa stared at me before bursting into laughter.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞"- I reprimanded

"𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐢-𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐬."-She giggled

Now my face was beet red and I crossed my arms.

"𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠."-I tried acting irritated but I just smiled at her. She calmed down and pulled me into a hug. My chin now resting on her shoulder. I slowly wrapped by arms around her and hugged her back taking in the embrace.

"𝐎𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐈 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭."-She explained still hugging me.

"𝐒𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧.."-I started

"𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝, 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐮𝐡."-She retorted but then pulled me into a kiss and broke it a second later.

She hugged me again and I hugged her even tighter. I was taking in her warmth as my chin sat on her left shoulder.

"𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮."-I whispered in her ear

"𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭?"-She questioned

"𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧."-I finished

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧, 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞."_________________________________
