Chapter 59

A/N: Sorry for the long wait...here is another chapter:)

(I was about to take this week off too but you guys are really pushy...:()

Perrie's POV

The sunlight finally shone through the window curtain, smiled as I could see her face much clearer now. I pushed back a loose strand of her hair, fingers trailing on her perfectly-sculpted features, being extremely careful and gentle, afraid I will wake her up by putting a little more force. She is so fucking beautiful. I peeked at the time and it's only 6:00 a.m. Jesy let us go to bed at three last night after we explained the whole story to her and Leigh, and yeah I basically didn't sleep until then.

I couldn't sleep. I got a lot in my head because of the new discovery last night. No I am not moping about the past anymore, I am way past that after Jade talked some sense in me. I am thinking about the future, our future. Knowing I had lost her but lucky enough to find her again made me appreciate and cherish her more, if it's even possible. I wish I could find a way to prevent losing her under every single possible circumstance...but I knew it is unrealistic because you could never predict what will happen in life. So instead, I had been thinking about how to make every single day counts and live with no regret, in case something bad does happen.

To do so I want to accomplish everything that I have always dreamt of doing and the first thing that comes into mind is to marry Jade. It has to be at the top of my list among everything. But still, one more thing had to be done...A Proposal. I knew I am more than ready to call Jade my fiancé, my wife, even the mother of our children if she lets me. I am always ready when it comes to Jade. I don't need anything when I have her...but at the same time I want to experience everything with her.

So I spent the past three hours thinking of how to get it done instead of getting some sleep. It won't be as perfect as I always imagine it to be with a plan coming up in such short amount of time, but I hope it would be enough to get a 'Yes' from her. My heart is pounding right now just thinking about that. I am going to do it tonight. Jade's family will be here later so I am going to tell them and hopefully have their blessing. I don't think I would back down on my proposal if they don't agree on it...but let's hope it won't have to come to that.

"I wish I could call you my fiancé after tonight. I love you so much baby"

I gazed at her fondly and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. I closed my eyes trying to calm my erratic and rapid heartbeats, hoping to fall asleep as soon as I could because I definitely needed a good sleep to do all that.  As if she could sense my nerve, she stirred and tightened her grip on my torso, pulling me closer and nudging her nose on my neck, mumbling something in her sleep.

"Go back to sleep love"

I cooed and rubbing her back gently, left a kiss on her head and held her delicately in my arms. I felt her lips curved up against my neck and that's all I need to go to the dreamland with her.

Jade's POV

I hummed contentedly when I woke up to the familiar vanilla scent and soft snore that I love so much. I gently nudging my nose against her porcelain skin as my head was buried in her neck, loving the feeling of our bodies pressing so closely and our limbs tangling each other. There is no other way I would love more to wake up to. I started to leave a trail of butterfly kisses from her neck and up to her jaw, stopped once I was caught at the dazzling sight underneath me, eyes gazing at every little details of her stunning face.

"How could I not know it's you when you are right beside me all this time? I should've known it's not just a dream when I saw you at the audition" I mumbled and ran my finger tenderly over her beautiful features.

"Those lips...those freckles...those long lashes..." I held my breath once my fingertips stopped at the corner of her eyes

"And those distinctive and captivating blue eyes...that could only belong to you"

I sighed at my obliviousness and placed a lingering kiss on each of her eyelid. I glanced at the time, noticing it was about time for breakfast, so I started showering her face with kisses, wanting to wake her up and see those fascinating blue eyes. I smiled once my lips left the tip of her nose, knowing she had woke up from her slumber as I could no longer hear her soft snore. There is only one kiss away from waking up my sleeping beauty.

"Wakey Wakey"

I sang song and leaned in to kiss those addictive soft lips of her, smiled when I felt her kissing me back right away. I pulled away after our lips had been moving for a good minute, beamed when I saw her slowly revealing those sapphire orbs.

"Good morning sleepy head. Merry Christmas" I smiled and pecked her lips

"Morning my love. Merry Christmas to you too"

She said in her raspy morning voice and grinned at me, her cute dimple making an appearance. I immediately gave it a peck before it quickly disappeared when she let out a yawn

"You looked tired. I should have forced Jesy to end the phone earlier" I whined

"It's okay. I can't sleep anyway" She murmured while rubbing her eyes adorably

"Why? Oh no are you still blaming yourself for what happened to me? No baby please I-"

"No baba I am not. Not anymore cause you talked me out of it last night" She smiled

"Is there something else bothering you then?" I cupped her face and looked at her worriedly, my thumb softly brushing her cheek

"I-I...I am just too excited for Christmas. You know me" She chuckled

She pulled me down and connected our lips once again. Her tone seems a bit off but I shook it off as I was too distracted by her lips. I mean...who isn't excited about Christmas? We pulled away once air became an issue.

"Time to get up babe. It's al-" As if on cue, we heard a knock on the door.

"Breakfast is ready girls." It is Perrie's mom

"We will be down in a minute" Perrie yelled back, Debbie left after mumbling an 'okay'

We got up and went to the bathroom to get ready, I finished first as Perrie said she wanted to take a shower because she didn't have one last night, so I left the room and headed down to the dining room. Breakfast had already set on the table and there are more than four sets of meals so I guessed our families will join us really soon.

"Morning Jade. Your dad and Karl on their way, so as Perrie's families. Where is she?" My mam asked

"She is taking a shower. Merry Christmas mam" I smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I was about to sit down when I heard the doorbell rang.

"That must be them" My mam grinned and we walked to the door, but Debbie beat us first.

"Merry Christmas!" My dad greeted Debbie, followed by Karl and Shireen, baby Karl shook off their hands once he spotted me

"Auntie Jade!" He screamed and ran to me, I knelt down and opened my arms widely.

"Hi there" I giggled once I caught him, stood back up with him in my arms.

"I miss you auntie Jade" He mumbled and wrapped his little arms around my neck.

"Aw I miss you too" I cooed and kissed his forehead.

He grinned and kissed my cheek. I giggled as he continued kissing on my cheek, until I heard someone let out a groan behind me. I laughed as I didn't have to turn around to know who that person is

"Hey enough you little boy. She is mine" I felt a pair of protective arms wrapped around my waist, her chin rested on my shoulder.

"She is MY auntie Jade" Baby Karl retorted and gave me another kiss on the cheek.

"She is MY girlfriend Jeed" Perrie countered and kissed my other cheek. I chuckled as they kept planting kisses on my cheeks like they were competing and whoever gave me more kisses will win, my cheeks soon covered all with their saliva

"Enough you two. Now greet each other properly" I scolded. They stopped and I had to contain my grin as I needed to continue forging a stern face.

"Hello Karl" Perrie said, then quickly give me a peck on the lips, a huge smirk on her face.

"Ew!" He grumbled and pushed her face away with his little hand. I shook my head in disapproval and stopped him.

"No Karl. It's rude" He frowned and Perrie chortled at her victory, but halted once I turned my head to her and gave her a glare

"You too. I know you are making him mad on purpose" I reprimanded. She muttered a quiet 'sorry'

"Karl you are always excited to see auntie Perrie. Why are you not now?" I asked and stroked his hair

"Because she tried to steal you away from me" He grunted, folding his arm

"Hey you littl-"

"I got this babe" I whispered

"I am still your auntie Jade and nothing would change that. Auntie Perrie and I are together, just like your dad and mam, we loves each other but that doesn't mean we love you any less yeah? She is not stealing me away from you, she is joining us, joining the family" I murmured.

He nodded happily and pecked my cheek again, smirking at Perrie, who let out a frustrated groan and gave me a pout.

"Don't be like that babe. He is just a kid and you know I love you" I cooed and kissed her pout away.

"I love you too" She grinned and pecked my lips again

"Auntie Jade I love you moreeee" Baby Karl protested

"No I love Jeed the most" 

"No I love her more"

"No way kid I-"

"Hey my favourite couple!"

I sighed in relief as Karl' voice interrupted their heated conversation. I don't think I have ever been this grateful to hear my brother's voice to be honest. He greeted us, followed by my dad and Shireen, I handed baby Karl to Shireen so I could give them a hug. I frowned when I saw Perrie's body tensed up when my dad hug her. They likes each other and my dad is the least intimidating person in this world...why would she be nervous?

The bell rang again so I turned around to look at the door, my mam opened it and Perrie's dad walked in, Caitlin and Jonnie coming from behind with Hatchi on his arms. Hatchi immediately jumped off and sprinted over to my direction, but I knew for sure he was not running to me.

"Aw hello my little Hatchi! I miss you sooooo much"

I rolled my eyes as it was totally no surprise he would want MY girlfriend to notice him first. That little attention seeker. I didn't have to look to know his tongue must be all over MY Perrie's face by the sound of her jolly giggles. I sighed and went to greet Perrie's family, I definitely don't want to be the third wheel there.

We all sat down at the dining table having breakfast together, catching up with one another. The conversation soon turned into me and Perrie as we are the hot topic today besides Christmas. 

To be honest it doesn't really matters to me how the media portrayed the news and how people thought about us because the most important thing to me is we love each other and now we are able to show our affection everywhere everytime we want. But I am not gonna lie I am over the moon to know the articles and reaction are mostly positive. It feels good to live in a world with acceptance and respect, and I hope this could encourage others who are still in the closet to not be afraid to be who they really are.

"To the hottest and cutest couple in the world" Jonnie exclaimed and raised his glass to make a toast. We all picked up our glasses, me and Perrie grinned at each other, laughing at his exaggeration

"Cheers"

I took a sip of my drink and frowned when I saw a furry little thing running towards us. I placed my glass down and groaned when it jumped on Perrie and sat on her lap. She sent me a questioning glance but I just shrugged and smiled, then looked down and bit my lip. How could I let her know I am jealous of her dog when I asked her not to get jealous of my own nephew? 

I knew it sounds ridiculous but I couldn't help but think like that because every time when Hatchi is around, her full attention is always on him. He used to want mine too, but gave up when I didn't give him the attention he wanted, because I am not too fond of him. I don't hate dogs, and I don't hate him...I just don't like him always glues to Perrie for 24/7, it's like if he was a human, he would be that clingy boyfriend that won't ever leave you alone and I clearly don't want one around Perrie. Ugh.

I snapped out of my thought when I felt a soft hand gently holding mine. My lips curved up and I immediately interlocked our fingers, placing them on my lap. I flashed her a sweet smile but it dropped when that hairy monster suddenly stood up on his feet, staring at me for awhile before taking a leap....and just like that he was on my lap with one of his paw stepping on our joint hands, then causally settled down on my lap with a smug look on his face.

"He likes you baba" Perrie whispered and squeezed my hand.

No babe. Can't you see that evil smirk on his face? And he fucking step on our hands like he doesn't give a fuck about us!!! He is trying to get in my nerve baby! He definitely succeeded, but I tried my hardest to look the exact opposite, like I am the most delightful person in the world.

His tail swirled excitedly and he was giving me that all so familiar hungry look that I always refuse to give in to. I looked at Perrie and she was staring at us in awe, like we are the cutest thing in the world. We. She pulled out our hands under his paw and placed them on top of his furry body, I frowned as she pulled away her hand to rub his fur. Why baby why you leave me for him? However, her sparkling blue eyes still gazed at me with so much affection like she always does, only it is different this time...there is something else in her eyes. Pleading. She wanted me to pat him, with her, together. This little shit. He knew exactly how...No. Who, to make me fall into his trap.

So I did... as I could never say no to those baby blue eyes. To be honest it didn't feel bad, at all. The feeling of his fuzzy skin on my fingertips felt nice, even though I am still sorta mad he got in between us and made me caressing his body like he is the king, but the wide smile on Perrie's face and the feeling of her fingers occasionally brushing mine make up for it. Somehow I am smiling too.

Maybe...maybe I could get used to it.
