Chapter 30

Jade's POV

We had been really busy promoting our new single and upcoming album for the past few days and today is no exception. We were at the dressing room getting ready for an interview with ODE, and it's just one of the many interviews we have today. I miss my break. I let out a long sigh and felt my phone buzzing in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw my mam calling. Mam? I didn't expect her calling me at this time because I told her we had interview the whole day. She normally call me at night when she knew I have finished work and had time for a chat.

"Hi Mam!" I greeted her excitedly as I miss her so much. I haven't seen her for awhile now.

"Hi sweetie" I frowned as she didn't sound as delighted as she normally is.

"Mam...is something wrong? You don't sound happy"

"Um...yeah...that's why I am calling you right now pet. S-Something happened" I could hear my mam's voice cracking at the end, like she was trying to hold back tears. My heart was racing as I knew something must have happened. Something...bad.

"W-What happened mam?..." I asked worriedly.

"Y-Your Auntie...Karen...s-she passed away" She gulped and let out a sob.

"W-What?! H-How mam?"

I was sobbing now as memory started rushing back. When I was a little girl, I always spend time with Auntie Karen and she treated me like her daughter. Now due to my job and hectic work schedule, I could only go home on break or holiday, but I would make sure to go visit her every time I go back to Shields. Hearing this...it definitely broke my heart. And I couldn't imagine how hard it would be for my mam to take the news, because they are really really close.

"S-She...had a heart attack...but we don't know why....We went shopping yesterday and...and she looked absolutely fine. But this morning she...the doctor said she had a sudden cardiac arrest. He said in most cases, it happens with no prior symptoms. And now...s-she's gone..." I could hear my mam was sobbing uncontrollably right now and it teared my heart apart.

I didn't realize I was too until I felt a palm hand wiping tears off my face. I looked up and saw Perrie looking at me attentively. She opened her arms and I immediately wrapped my arms around her torso, clutching at her like my life depends on it, and bawling my eyes out at her chest. Tears kept running down on my face as my heart still refusing to believe what I just heard was real, and it was aching when I thought about I could never see my aunt again.

Perrie held me tightly in her arms and stroking my hair, whispering comforting words into my ears. She was so gentle and tender somehow I felt like I could endure the pain. I didn't know how long I have been crying, but I could feel myself calming down under Perrie's touch. Then I realized my mam was still on the phone, so I pulled away a bit to face Perrie, where her arms still wrapping around my waist protectively. I gave her a grateful smile and put the phone back to my ear.

"M-Mam...are you still there?" My voice sounds a bit raspy now due to crying

"Y-Yeah baby you okay?" She didn't sound any better than me.

"Mam...I-I am coming home now" Perrie looked shocked for a second, but then she nodded and gave me a weak smile

"B-But don't you have work? You told me you have interviews today."

"Y-Yeah. But I know it must be hard for you and Uncle Tim...I want to be there for you."

"Thank you petal. I love you"

"I love you too mam. I will call you when I am in South Shields."

"Okay sweetie. I will see you back home"

"Bye mam"

"Bye pet"

I hung up the phone and put it back in my pocket. I looked at Perrie and she gave me a sympathetic smile.

"M-my aunt has passed away...I-I need to..."

"I know Jade and I am really sorry about that." She raised her hand and wiped the tears off my face.

"Jade you okay?" I nodded at Leigh. She came to my side and gave me a hug.

"Yeah Jade go home and be with your family. We can handle the interviews. I have called our driver and he will be here in ten to drive you to your house to pack and then to the airport "Jesy pulled down her phone and came to my other side and hug me.

"Group hug!" Perrie yelled and I chuckled lightly when they all engulfed me with warm hug. Lesy pulled away shortly and smiled at me, while my girlfriend still hadn't let me go.

"Girls you are up for the interview!" I heard the crews calling us. Perrie groaned but she didn't move one bit.

"Baby you need to-"

"NO! Let me hold you for a little longer" She whined and her grip on me only getting tighter

"It's okay Jade we will buy you and Perrie some time before you leave. Me and Leigh can handle the interview." Jesy said and looked at Leigh, who gave her a nod.

"You sure?" I frowned

"Absolutely"

"Thank you" Perrie pulled away and turned her head to Lesy, her strong arms still locking on my waist

"No problem Pez. Remember to text us when you are home Jade" Leigh smiled

"Thank you girls and I will. Bye Jes and Lee-lee" I waved at them while my other arm still on Perrie's back.

"Bye Jade and see you later Pez" Perrie waved back and they left the room.

Our bodies molded once again and we were staying in each other's arms, hoping time would just stand still. But it didn't take long when the vibration of my phone brought us back to reality. We sighed and reluctantly pulled away. I pulled my phone out and saw a text from our driver, telling me he's already here. I looked at Perrie and she gave me a sad smile, knowing I have to go now. She tug a strand of my hair behind my ear and slid her hand down slightly to cup my face.

"Baby stay strong and I am only one call away if you need me. Call me when you are home okay?" She caressed my face gently with her slender fingers

"I promise and I will miss you" I pulled her into another hug and buried my face at the crook of her neck. I clutched tightly at her top, not wanting to leave her.

"Me too Jadey. Gosh you haven't even left and I already missed you" She held my body closer to her and kissed my head.

She slowly pulled away and rested her forehead on mine. Shen gazed at me with her beautiful blue eyes, and started to lean in until our lips touched. I kissed her with every passion I have hoping to cherish every seconds of it, as I knew I won't be able to do this for awhile. I don't know how long I would be gone. Maybe a day, three days or even a week. I don't know. As much as I hate to leave my blonde, I have to go home to support my family. She tightened her grip on my waist and kissed me with the same passion.

She pulled away moments after and I could see the longing in her eyes. We both want more but time isn't allowed. She pecked my lips a few more times before unwillingly releasing her grip on my torso.

"It's time to go princess." She gave me a weak smile. I knew I have to go but my body didn't want to. I cupped her face and connected our lips one more time.

"I love you Pez" I muttered against her lips and pressed my lips firmer on her

"I love you too Jadey. So much" She reciprocated my gesture but parted our lips shortly. Our foreheads touching and my heart dropped when I saw her usual sparkling blue eyes are now dull. She closed her eyes for seconds, and when she opened them again, I could see sorrow and pain in her eyes. She removed my hands from her cheek, holding them in her slightly bigger hands for seconds, then letting them go and stepped back.

"Now go before I try to pull you back again and kiss the fuck out of you" She joked.

She tried to sound as happy as she could but her eyes disclosed the opposite. I turned around immediately as I knew I would have done the same if I looked at her one more time. I felt tears started to form in my eyes. Why is it so hard to say goodbye?

"Bye Perrie"

Perrie's POV

Jade has left.

And I am already craving for her. Her touch. Her smile. Her kiss. Her everything.

But she had to go. Her family needs her.

I just hope it won't be long until my Jadey is back.

I was standing in the dressing room, alone, not knowing what to do without my Jadey now. My eyes wandering at the empty room for minutes, gazing at nothing specifically. I sighed when my mind started to function again, and mentally remind myself to put on my professionalism in the following interviews, despite the fact I was not in any mood to do it when Jade was not beside me. I decided to go check on Jesy and Leigh, to see whether the interview had finished or not.

I took a glance into the room and saw them sitting on the couch chatting with the host. The host was sitting in between them laughing, it looked more like a casual chat instead of a formal one. I glanced at the camera in front of them and saw it was already off, so I guessed the interview had already finished.

"I am sorry me and Jade couldn't join the interview" I walked inside the room and apologized to the host.

"Don't worry It's alright. The girls told me Jade has family problem...Is she okay now?" She asked concernedly.

"Yeah. She is now going home to be with her family. Thank you for understanding."

"It's fine really. Oh now you are here, why don't we all take a photo?"

"Sure"

Jesy gave me a smile when I sat down next to her. We took a group photo and continue chatting with the host.

The next interviewer arrived minutes after so we said goodbye to her and started another interview with ChartShowTV. (Note: Click at 0:53)

"Now we got one girl missing today. Where is Jade?" The host asked

"Jade had a few family troubles so she's not here today" Jesy answered

"We wish her all well and hopefully will see her very soon"

"We miss...we miss you Jade! It's not the same without you!" I added. I miss her

My mind was occupied by a certain brunette the whole interview but I still try to show my enthusiasm and managed to put on a happy face and answered the questions when I needed to. Then we had another interview with MNM, Gosh what a busy day today! (Note: Click at 6:16)

I couldn't really remember much from the interview to be honest, the only thing I could remember was when the host was reading a summary of a fanfiction about me and Jade. It's unbelievable to know our fans do want us to be a couple, and love us so much to write a fanfiction about us. Little do they know we are indeed, together.

We said goodbye to the host and left for the next interview. I felt my phone buzzing so I pulled out and saw I received a text from Jade.

My Princess Jadey

-Just wanna let you know I am about to get on the plane baby.

Perrie

-Safe flight baba and call me when you are home.

My Princess Jadey

-I will and baby I miss you so much already:(

Perrie

-Me too. I can't stop thinking about you:(

My Princess Jadey

-Aw baby:( I would love to keep talking but I have to go now:(

Perrie

-It's alright Jadey. I love you and I can't wait to hear your voice again

My Princess Jadey

-I love you too Pez and I will call you later

I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket. It would be a long day without my princess.

A/N: I am quite busy lately so I don't really have time to write and make the Jerrie video. Sorry for that but I will try to keep update this book each week. For the video I am still gathering as much videos as I could so it won't be done very soon:( But I will post an announcement on ig to let you guys know when I finish
