Chapter 11

" We have good news and bad news" said the doctor with sad eyes." Which one do you want to hear first"he asked looking at his clipboard.

Adrien looked at Alya and Nino who were standing right next to him.

" The good news ? " Alya said.

" Well the good news is that we were able to save her and the surgery was a success " he said and Adrien could feel  the weigh on his heart lifting.

" That is great news !!! " Said Adrien smiling.But his face shifted." Then what are the bad news " he said with tears in his eyes.

" We couldn't save the baby... I'm sorry " the doctor said , turned around and walked away.

~Adrien POV~

B-baby ?She was pregnant ?...why didn't she told me ...

" Adrien,dude, it's ok. Come here " Nino said hugging me.

" I-i didn't know she was pregnant " i said beginning to cry. If i knew she was pregnant i wouldn't let her walk alone at night. I should have been there with her to protect her.

I'm glad that she is ok I'm so happy that she is alive but our child ...it hurts so bad for now...

As we talked and comforted each other a nurse came up to us.

" You are here for Marinette Dupain-Cheng, corect ? " We nodded." Then come with me. I'll take the three of you to her room " she said and i was the first one to sit up and follow her.

We followed her." All right here it is. But after an hour you have to leave she needs her rest " the nurse said then walked away.

" All right thank you very much nurse " i said politely as she left.

With that we walked in her room.My heart shattered.

She was on the bed, hooked up to to all of those machines, bandaged and asleep.

She looked so fragile.

" I can't Nino " Alya says hugging her boyfriend and crying in his shoulder.

" It's ok babe. Dude... We'll go home, ok ? We'll leave you alone with her and we'll come tomorrow morning. Alya is exhausted and so am I " said Nino with sorrow in his voice.

" It's ok I understand. Thank you Nino " i said turning to them.

After they left I slowly approached  her and sit on a chair close to her.

" Oh princess... I'm so sorry " i said putting my head on hers. I took her hand and hold it close to my heart.

" Adrien ...? " Said a little red kwamii coming from behind a vase.

" Tikki ! What happened. Do you know who did this ?!" I asked desperate, wanting to know exactly what happened.

" Well...she was going to transform in a alley when out of nowhere came ..." she said quickly.

" Who?! Do you recognized the person ? " i asked.

" yes I did recognized it " Tikki said coming closer to me.

" Who was it !!! " i said. I need to know who dare to hurt my future wife and kill my child.

"It was-" knocking on the door interrupted our conversation. Tikki quickly flied behind the vase.

" I'm sorry sir but you have to go. The patient has to rest. You can come tomorrow " it was a nurse.

" Ok "i said. I kissed my lady's forehead and left the room but not before I was sure that Tikki was in my pocket.

We have a lot to talk about when we get home and I'm going to kill whoever tried to hurt my Marinette and our child.
