I sat up slightly when Makane stood up.

"We are arriving. Come, you must stand by me so I can explain to my clan why you are here." he said, picking up his armour and weapons. I nodded and slowly stood up, following him down to the entry door again. I felt the ship land, shaking slightly as it hit solid ground again and the door hissed open.

Looking out, the landscape was vastly different to Earth, golden yellow skies, vast city seething with life, and cool fresh air that was a delightful change from the ship. Two yautja stood at the bottom of the ramp, armoured and waiting. Makane walked down so I followed after him, watching as he exchanged nods with the other two and grunted.

They both looked at me, their masks showing no emotion underneath; one with more green scales, and one with dark purple. I felt uncomfortable quickly, and Makane noticed and grunted again.

"This ooman is... a companion. She is injured by kiande amedha, she needs to be seen by a healer while I speak to To'ruke." he said. I was pushed towards the other two yautja who looked at me again. I stared back at them, more than a bit nervous.

"Go with Er'ke and Zan'tuse. They will take you to the clan's medical centre." Makane said to me, before just walking off. The three of us stood there in silence before one of them, the purple one, spoke up in slightly broken English.

"Ooman... you follow." he said in a gruff voice, turning on his heel and marching to a door. I quickly followed, not wanting to piss anyone off, and the yellow yautja walked behind me. I was led down halls, to a door that was presumably the medical centre. The door slid open automatically and another yautja, a slightly smaller one than the other two, was walking around pressing a tablet. He looked up at the three of us and looked mildly surprised at the fact I was human.

They conversed in their language, glancing at me a few times. It was very awkward and I just quietly stood there, waiting for them to finish their talk.

Finally the two guard yautja left, and this new one, a 'healer', looked at me.

"I am Ranele. You have an acid burn, yes? Come here, I will have a look." he said, in surprisingly good English. I nodded and nervously stepped closer to him. He took my arm and made me rest it on a counter under a strange light for him to look at.

"I can fix this very easily. You will have a small scar, but there will be no pain, ooman."

"Okay..." I replied quietly, watching as he held a device over the burn. A small ray of purple moved over my wound and it healed slowly, turning into a scar. Damn, this place's medicine must be very advanced.

"Thank you." I said once he finished with the device. He nodded slightly.

"Makane brought you here?"

"Yes... he said he had to talk to someone about me, I think." I said, and Ranele nodded.

"Ah, yes. He has probably gone to Lu'tekke, our clan leader. He will decide what to do with you." he replied. That didn't sound very comforting and he noticed my worry, his strange mouth things clicking.

"Do not worry, he will not kill you. You killed a Xenomorph yourself, you are respected, but you are also too weak to be honourable prey."

"Right... What exactly makes someone honourable?" I asked and he chuckled.

"There is a code that we follow. I do not expect an ooman to know it well, or at all. It will be taught, I imagine."

"Taught? Like, I'm staying here?"

Ranele nodded, tapping on a tablet.

"Most likely, we do not return any other lifeforms home if they come here." he replied. Not going home? That wasn't the worst thing that could happen, though I hoped my friends were okay still. I never found out what happened to Jakob and Ben... I hope they escaped like I did.

I was pulled from my thoughts as the door slid open and Makane walked in, still clad in armour.

"Ooman Dee, come. The Clan Leader wants to see you." he said, wrapping a clawed arm around me and tugging me with him. We walked down a few halls and turned a corner to a large set of doors.

"Do not be afraid." Makane mumbled before the doors opened. There was a group of yautja in the hall sat around a long table, and one sat at the head of the table. Some of them looked older, and the oldest-looking one sat at the head. I assumed he was the Clan Leader, especially by the string of skulls hanging from his shoulder like some sort of ruler symbol.

"Ooman Dee, Makane has told me how you came to be here." The leader said, beckoning me forward. I shuffled closer to the table awkwardly.

"Uh...yeah." I mumbled, hoping they all wouldn't be angry that I stowed away on their buddy's ship.

"I must tell you, you cannot return to Earth. We do not want more to know of our existence." he said. I assumed by now that this was Lu'tekke, and the group of yautja must've been his right-hand men or something. I nodded, already knowing I probably wouldn't.

"You will live with Makane for the time being. Oomans do not usually live on our planet, so you will need to be taught our ways. Our clan will accept you as long as you make the effort to become one of us." Lu'tekke said, staring at me with a firm gaze. He looked to Makane who was behind me, and they exchanged a few words in their language before he grunted and nodded.

"Come, Ooman Dee." Makane said, and strode out the hall. I followed after him, having to catch up as he walked out the building and into the street. I got stares from male, female, and child yautja as I followed him towards another large building.

"Keep up, it is easy to get lost here." he called as he walked into the building with me trailing behind. We went into a very fancy-looking elevator and he pushed a few buttons, and it went up rapidly. When it stopped, it was a surprisingly smooth movement, and I followed Makane down a hall to a door.

"This is my dwelling... and it will be yours for now." he said, letting me inside. The interior was very modern and sleek, with lots of things I didn't recognise but things I did as well. A large living area with huge windows, a kitchen area towards the left, and a hall presumably down to other rooms.

"The synthesiser can get you whatever food you desire, and I will show you how to use the control panels." he said, taking his armour off.

"Even food from Earth?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yes, I will show you how to change the setting soon. Get used to your surroundings, I will be down the hall." Makane replied and walked off.
