Chapter 39

Annabeth's POVI sat at our dining table. I squeezed the coffee mug that was between my hands. I hadn't decided what to do with what Derek told me. "Perce?" I called. "Yes hon?" He asks as he strides into the kitchen. "Are you feeling ok?" He walks over to me and bends down so he can put his hands on my swollen belly. "Yes... I'm fine."

"Hey little guy." his whispers. "How do you know it's a boy?" I laugh. "I just do, but we will find out today anyway." he grins. I nod. "I'm gonna head upstairs to change." I inform him as I struggle to get up. He helps me up and kisses me on the forehead before going to his office.

I make my way up the stairs slowly, grabbing the railing incase. As I waddle into our room, I hear the window close. I take out my dagger that was hidden in my boot and tiptoe to our room. What I see was not what I expected. On our mirror were the words "You better choose soon.." In red. I gulp, dreading what will happen next.
