Percy's POV It doesn't feel right with rose, but I admit I kinda do love her. But sadly my heart is with Annabeth. She tried talking to me , but I ignored her. I don't know why, it just feels like I'm doing the right thing. "Hey." Rose said sweetly as she slipped her hand into mine. I don't know if Annabeth knows I have a girlfriend, but why should she care. She has a boyfriend.Annabeth's POV "Hey Annabeth." Derek says as he catches up. A couple of days passed since the 'incident' and now Derek and Lexi are girlfriend and boyfriend. The best thing though, is that Percy's new gf happens to be my best friend Rose. "What." I sulk. "Are you still mad?" he asks as his cheeks flood with a rosy color. "No but I don't feel like explaining." I choke. He hugs me. I'm not mad anymore since the person I actually wanted to be with was Percy. As I pulled away I saw Percy chasing Rose around. He finally caught her and carried her over her shoulder.They were laughing so loud. I wished I was doing that with percy. I signed and looked at the ground. "You like him don't you?" He asked as he glared at percy. Why is he jealous! He's the one that cheated on me. "Who are you to be jealous?" I growled. He put his hands up in defense and backed away. "Have to go Annie, bye." he smirks. "Don't call me Annie!" I warn. I head over to my cabins table and sit down. I see Percy give Rose a kiss and leave. I sigh. It pains me to see them together. After I finish lunch I go to the place I kissed percy. I jumped in and swam to the bottom of the lake. After a minute I realized I don't have an air bubble around me. What an un-daughter of Athena thing to do! I started drowning. I tried swimming up, but it was no use. I was going to die. I black out.Percy's POV I saw Annabeth walking to the dock. Why? I asked myself. I followed her and saw her jump in. What is happening? After a minute I see bubbles come up. I realize she's drowning. I jump in and save her. I lay her small unconscious body on the dock and check her pulse. It's getting slower and slower, that's when I realize she's not breathing. I don't hesitate to give her mouth to mouth.
