After reaching home my Dad ordered I be put in one of the cells in the basement under our house where he tortures people, though I was not surprised I've gone through worse when growing up as his son .

It's been a week since the last time I was caged here being given nothing other than water I guess he did not want me to die yet ,I heard footsteps and a hint of my pa's smell no one has come to visit me except the guards who brings me water so I was abit surprised when I saw him .

"What did you come here to do ? "I asked and he kept quiet .

"Am not dead yet if that's what you came to see"He came closer to where I was and sat beside me without saying anything .

"Venice you know I love you right?"

"Haha!! LOVE? What exactly is love "Tears started flowing on my face without me noticing I knew I was crying when my Pa stretched his arm to wipe them off.

"Am sorry that we did not bring you up like normal children ,but you have to understand we had our own reasons "

"What reasons Pa what ? what reasons do you have ,you guys stole my childhood I never got to experience what being a child is "

"Son am sorry you should understand that you are not from a normal family son you had to be taught everything at a young age so that you understand everything about us to take over the business"He said as he also started crying.

"Who said I want anything to do with this f*cking business of your's "

"Don't say that your father would be mad if he heard that."

"Hahaha!! Which father do I have one? "

"VENICE "

"What Pa it's the truth has he ever treated me like his son ,he treats me just like one of his men who he can use to do anything he wants to be done,if am really his son I won't be caged here like some animal or criminal"

"But you should understand that you were also on the wrong "

"Haha..what wrong Pa ? What wrong did I do ? acting how I was brought up ,you guys made me loose my Rain ,you made me think that how I was treated and how I've seen that husband of your's treat you is how one treats the one he loves ,I really loved Rain Pa he is the only person that I have ever loved this much but I treated him like an asshole because that is what I've been taught by you guys "

"Am sorry "that's the only words he could say while crying uncontrollably.

"When he accepted me as his boyfriend I was so happy and afraid at the same time ,what if he gets to know what kind of family I come from what will happen will I loose him ?will he stay by my side ? Will he still love me ?"

All my Pa did was cry more

"I was really afraid Pa but I couldn't tell anyone about what am feeling or going through , when I found out that he was doing a background check on me I got so angry and even more afraid ,what if he gets to know that I started killing and touturing people as a child because my family is in the Mafia the most feared Mafia in this whole region and that had to be maintained."

I wiped my tears as I continued..

" Did I ever tell you that I met his Parents ,ooh I know your husband must have told you because he sent some people to follow me that day .His parents were not that welcoming at fast especially his father he was abit hostile but his husband put him in place ,my Rain whooped at his parents to defend me he even anounced that am his boyfriend Infront of his Parents even before I asked him to be one ,to defend me , later he apologized to his Parents and they laughed as they pulled into a hug ,to be honest Pa I really envied him when it came to his parents and their family in general,"

"All our family is good at is to pretend how good we are , how we love each other yet I doubt you guys really know what love really is "

"Don't say that Son " he said in-between his sobs

"Am getting tired Pa am really getting tired "

"No don't say that ,come here " he said as he pulled me into a hug

"I really love you son you might not believe me but I really do love you, I've given you everything you have ever asked for son you can't say I don't love you "

"Not everything is about money Pa yes I've gotten everything I want even more , being taken to the best of the best schools , getting the latest cars , always having any amount of money in my disposal and also being the untouchable,but that is not what I wanted , I wanted parents that view me as their child and loved and treated me like one "

"Am sorry son am really sorry "

"Yes you are sorry but I lost my Rain Pa I've lost him because of my behavior I blame myself I don't blame you Pa so stop crying it's all on me I should have learnt from you guys and treat my boyfriend better and not like how that man treated you "

We cried more for a while till we got tired but I was grad that I was able to let everything out to my Pa if I countinued storing it in me I would not have survived.

After the crying my Pa helped me up and took me to my room where I washed up and was fed by him to my fill as I started a new chapter of my life .
