"You're to train her."

"I am training her, erwin-"

Erwin stood from behind his desk, his fingers clasping behind his back. His usual stern and hardened expression stayed just as powerful. "You know. Her wits alone won't keep her alive outside of those walls, levi. "

Levis eyes narrowed on him. He knew what he was getting at. He knew, and he didn't like it. "Erwin shes not any different than any other scout risking their life."

"Isn't she?" A small chuckle left his lips, his hand skimming the books on his shelves before picking one out. "You're to train her. Understand?"

"Why?- she has 2 more years of training anyways-"

Erwin let out a small sigh. "Levi. I need her training more. When those two years come, I'll need her well able. Im sure you dont want her dying either. More than me, maybe. "

Levis jaw clenched. He didn't want to. He knew it was a bad idea.. but at the same time, knowing she would be trained thoroughly.. slightly brought him some ease. "Im gonna go hard on her, erwin. I won't go easy just because she's weak. "

"See that you do,"

Levi stiffly saluted, hand against his chest before turning on his heels, and walked out.

Training you.. training you.

He was screwed. Levi could practically taste how bad of an idea this was. For him. For you, it would probably be a great thing, having more training and actually having a chance surviving.

Levi hadn't really known much about why erwin joined you to the scouts. Levi had taken over some of the training for the new recruits.. most had some form of training before levi took them on

But you were pulled in brand new. All levi had known about it was your brains. Top scores in all your classes.. but there was something else.

Not that levi knew of. Not that he cared, either. All he had learned from the time you had spent for a year was your need to get under his skin. funny, how that turned out.

A small breath left his lips as he sat down, a tray of his tea cup and pot.

Hange glanced at him, their eyes coming up from the book their face had been shoved into. "Morning levi"

He gave a gruff morning back, his cup of tea now being held by his fingertips at the rim. "You knew, didn't you?"

Their innocent smile twitched. "Dunno what you're talking about,"

A small hum left levis lips as his eyes stayed narrowed on them. "If i find out you're the one who brought this profound idea to erwin, i will cut your limps off."

Hange sucked in a sharp breath. "Jeez levi. Is it gonna be that bad to train her one on one?" They sauntered out, leaning back in their chair.

"Tch. Stop talking out of your ass. "

He stood, taking his small teacup with him, and left hange to read once again.

.

You and levi hadn't spoken since yesterday. After he left you in his office.

Not being interly sure if you were meant to stay or not, you took the chance of leaving, guessing levi probably didn't leave you there in hopes of seeing you waiting for him.

The encounter hadn't really left your mind, nonstop thinking, what was the reasoning for him doing it-

You definitely were probably overthinking it. There was nothing wrong with leaning your head on someone's shoulder... it didn't mean he was wanting comfort.. but it was his voice,

His voice was so soft, he was so.. relaxed.

Sure, he had tried to fuck you right before it but.. his voice was still lingering in your ears.

"Your a nuicance.."

Not really the most romantic of words. But something about how he said it just made the hairs on your arms stand.

You let out a small groan, flopping your head into your pillow. Stupid levi. Always fucking up your relaxing time...

Letting your eyes close, you tried to get some sleep. Erwin had called you to his office early hours tomorrow before training, and going there with no sleep in you probably wasn't a good idea.

Your mind stayed occupied with levi.. how his hands felt, his breathing..

"Your a nuisance.."

The words left your mouth, followed by silence and then a loud groan. Why was such a stupid thing keeping you awake? It wasnt even sweet.

It wasnt. But for some reason you could feel your heart beat rise at the words, playing them over and over in your head.

This continued for another hour before you finally got to sleep. Not escaping levi while in your slumber either but that didnt seem to bother you much as you slept curled up.

The morning after, you headed straight to erwins office, giving a firm knock and straightened up, your hands going to fix your shirt and hair.

A low "come in" was heard, and you let our hand push the door open, walking in.

Erwin gave you a slight smile and nodded his head towards the seat opposite his desk.

Your legs moved, walking over and took a seat, your back not touching the back of the chair, as if not wanting to look too relaxed. "What did you need, commander?"

Erwin leaned his hands on his desk in his usual clasped way. "You are to start training with levi for the hour before dinner,"

You stayed still and quiet. Private training? Was this levis idea?

The thought nearly made you snort. Levi? Asking to private train you. You let out a small hum, eyes narrowing slightly on erwin. "Is this your command? Or levis?"

"Mine"

"On what basis?

Erwins sucked in a breath, leaning back. "Well, as you are aware. Our expidition is soon."

You nodded your head. "Im aware." You paused. You werent even done your training.. why would the expidition matter..? "What about the expidition?"

Erwin hummed softly, his eyes narrowing slightly on you. "Youll be coming- not to engage. But i would like for you to come. Even if your not to engage the skills would be needed incase of the fact of having to leave in an emergency"

"Im going?"

"Yes"

You stared at erwin with a slight dumbfounded look. Why the fuck were you going? You were about to open our mouth to speak but erwin put his hand up.

"Id like if that would be all. Im needed elsewhere right now. I was just informing you-" he paused,

"And, I'd like it if you didn't tell levi my decision that you're joining us on the expidition. For now, "

Why? You went to open your mouth to ask, but stopped yourself. Erwin wasn't one for giving straight reasonings to his commands. You puffed your cheeks up slightly before speaking.

"So this is just because im not good enough and normal training won't help for how close the expidition is?"

He chuckled. "Well, I'd rather you say it than me. You were recruited because of your wits. I wouldn't want to favouritise but." Erwins hands moved, fixing things up on his desk. "Bringing you out in the field the way you are now.. would be a waste. "

You bit the inside of your cheek slightly. Part of you had hoped it was levis idea- what the fuck? Why are you thinking like that.

"Do you have an issue with it?"

Your eyes shot up. "With?- the training?" You shook your head. "Has captain levi agreed to this? He doesnt seem like the type to do private training-"

"He agreed, whether it was forced or not he agrees it would be better to have you more.. fit for outside the walls. He just doesnt know its for the up coming expidition."

A small sigh left your lips. "Then i dont see why i would have an issue. This is for me. It would be ungreatful and foolish to not except"

Erwin smiled, barely. But it was there. "And, id appreciate you use this training to the fullest. It would be a shame if you died"

It was your turn to smile. "I will make sure i dont sir."

He nodded his head. "Well. Levi will fill you in on the details later today then" he spoke, slightly louder and stood.

You followed, standing. Erwin walked out with you, silently. A small nod of the head was the final  goodbye.

A soft smile stayed plastered to your fact as you made your way to the mess hall.

Training. Private training with levi.. the man who was rearranging your guts when it suited him.

You were actually quite shocked that levi had even agreed to it. He had been very clear of trying to avoid you other than when you two were alone and partaking in extra-curricular activities.

Or- was this a code? A way levi could fuck you everyday?

You audibly laughed. Thankful no one was around who could have witnessed your moment in insanity you pressed your lips together.

Erwin had said he chose for you to do it.. you were really overthinking it. It was just training. It had nothing to do with yours and levis sex.

You walked into the mess hall and plopped down next to sasha. Your friends hadn't been filled in on your secrets. And as much as you wanted to tell them, levi, although not having said it.

It was clear he didn't want anyone knowing about it. Which you didn't mind too much.

You ate silently listening to the mindless conversations from our group as you ate, levi still taking up an annoyingly big amount of room in your mind as you did.
