seven

You were dreading todays training. Absolutely dreading it. Levi, not sure if he was in a bad mood or just wanting to watch you suffer because of your relentless teasing, was making the cadets go on a 2 hour hiking trip in the mountains.

Hange, and two of your friends who were superiors, being sasha and connie were joining along with levi to make sure that everyone was going the right way and not lost.

The way it was arranged was, hange at the front hiking, connie and sasha placed in the middle of the group and levi being at the end.

You, had been placed in the middle, which ended up you dragging along behind the group not long after, grumbling about hills and how everywhere should have moveable grounds where you could just stand and they move.

"This is my life now. Ive climbed this hill and now i will now die upon it"

"Shut up, were been hiking for 20 minutes" a bored voice speaks behind you, a hand now pressed flush against your back slightly pushing you forward.

You turn your head seeing levi. "Is this what i get in return for subtly flirting" you grumble turning and walking groggily.

A scoff left levis lips, hand still pushing you slightly, which you did greatly appreciate not that you noticed right now because of the annoying pains from walking you had.

"Subtly?" He speaks making you look back a little. "Yeah?- its very subtle dont try and say it isnt"

"Subtle my ass. You may aswell grovel at my feet begging" he snorts.

"Excuse you, i may wanna suck you off but i still have self respect- i mean groveling is a little far for some dick and-"

Levis look makes you stop when u notice him giving you a slight glare. Glaring, but you couldnt help but notice the corner of his mouth twitch up the way.

"What? Im just being honest" you say innocently, leaning back against levis hands that was still slightly giving you support walking up the annoying steep hill.

"Yeah, dont. Keep that to yourself" he said and moved his hand, walking ahead slightly. "Keep up runt" he said, walking.

You groaned and stumbled forwards to keep up, now walking next to the man who kept his gaze forward.

20 more minutes into the walk and you were dreading the hill up ahead even more than before, you were a little behind the others but not enough for anyone to notice, still seeing them walking you rested against a tree, talking a small little break.

"Fucking stupid hiking" you mumble to yourself as you hold your side where you had a stabbing pain everytime you breathed in.

You took a few mins to get your breath back before turning to walk, not seeing the rest of your group.

"Wha?- howd they get so far so quickly" you whin slumping your shoulders more and stumbled to walk quickly to try catch up.

Lost. Lost was an understatement actually, you were completely gone astray from your group, wandering around a little path that you took because the main path had stopped.

Glancing around you, probably calmer than you should be you huffed and crouched down leaning back against a tree.

"Do i just start walking back and hope levi understands?- what am i saying, levi? Understanding?" You scoff, conversating with yourself.

You decide to sit for a bit to think of a solution before continueing to walk up the hill, if anything you would run into them on the way back and everything would be fine.

Or so you thought. As cliche as it is, you end up hurting your ankle slipping on a log that you stepped on and were now plopped on the floor with your back against a tree.

"Fuck.."

There wasnt much you could really do other than sit and wait until help came, risking trying to walk back down the hill with a probably fractured ankle was stupid, even for you.

The sun was setting and you were starting to feel the cold hit your face and hands, titans werent an issue of course since you were safe behind wall rose, but not being found and freezing to death was definitely something you were a little worried about.

You heard a twig snap a few feet away from you and nearly snapped your neck turning to where the noise came from.

"Where the fuck is she" a familar voice spoke before calling out your name. Levi.

"Le- captain! Im over Here" you quickly called out gripping onto the tree to try stand, scrunching your face up in discomfort.

The footsteps and crunching of leaves and twigs continued until the man was standing next to you staring down.

"Your a fucking idiot why are you sitting- are you hurt?" His brows furrowed as he crouched down.

You hummed slightly. "Yeah i hurt my ankle a little" you said and stared at him. Levi pressed his lips into a thin line as if trying to hold back yelling at you before standing.

"You just cant do anything the easy way huh" he mumbled and moved closer, he slighered his arms around your waist and hoised you up.

"Lean against the tree for a second" he said and you complied, keeping your weight on your uninjured foot and leaned your shoulder on the tree trunk.

Levi took your arm that wasnt against the tree and put it over his shoulder before wrapping his arm around your waist and slightly lifted your body weight off the tree.

Taking his actions as a hint you leaned against levi, keeping all your weight on one foot and began walking with him, going at a slow pace.

"Is there others out looking?" You spoke, hissing slightly as you walked.

Levi was quiet for a few minutes before humming slightly. "No. They were sending a search party out in the morning i was just doing a quick search. You werent far from the huts were staying in" he spoke.

You glanced at him and then back to the path. "Im gonna read into that"

"Dont read into it."

A snicker left your lips, you feel levis grip around your waist tighten slightly.

"Thank you" you say and glance at him again.

Silence filled the air again as levi just gave a slight nod as a response, the two of you walked down, turning off a small path and to a field that had 6 huts placed.

"Jeez i really was close i shouldve just walked" you muttered as levi walked you over to the 4th hut lined up.

He rolled his eyes.."no that would have been stupid" he spoke, opening the door to the hut and helped you in.

It was clean, levi clean. With a small bed in the far left corner and a wooden desk opposite it that bad a lamp, papers scattered over it in an organised mess and a pencil. There was a small circle table near the door and a few wooden cupboards, and a door next to the desk which you assumed lead to a bathroom. This was levis hut.

Glancing at him, he moved you over and let you fall, sitting down on the bed. "Wait a second, i need to check your foot"

Levi moved, unbuttoning the cuffs of his shirt and folded them up, walking to one of the cupboards and grabbing a first aid kit along with what you assumed was ice in a bag.

You glanced around the room before levi came back over and crouched down infront of you, he grabbed your leg, lifting your foot off the floor and took your shoe off slowly.

A small hiss left your lips as he did, closing one eye and scunching your nose up. Levi mumbled a small sorry and pulled your sock off slowly, your foot now resting on his leg, him holding just above your ankle with a extremely gentle grip.

He pulled your pant leg up a little and ever so slightly bent your foot up and down, glancing up at you. "Does that hurt?"

You stared down at him and nodded slightly, glancing at your foot. "A little.. it stings" you mumbled.

"What about this?" He gently rolled your ankle in a circle making you hiss. "Ow- fuck, yes that hurts" you grumbled, leaning your hands back on the bed.

Levi hummed slightly and sat down on the floor, crossing his legs and keeping your foot in his grip, he grabbed the bag of ice in his other and gently pressed it against your ankle making you flinch at the sudden cold compress.

The two of you sat in silence, you staring down at levi while he eyed your ankle, glaring at it like it was in the wrong for being hurt.

"You know, glaring isnt gonna make it feel better"

Levi glanced up at you with the same glare. "Id rather you didnt talk" he said and moved, putting one leg up, bent and the other straight infront of him, your foot still in his grasp.

"I like talking though" you say innocently, slightly smiling down at him playfully, more of a smirk really.

Levi rolled his eyes. "I noticed" he mumbled making you huff.

"Rude. Whats wrong with talking" you said and lay back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

"I like the quiet." He states as if it was obvious, which it kind of was.

You scoff a little. "You know, theres an activity you can do without talking wi-"

"Dont start, youve got a fractured ankle you dumbass"

You sit up abruptly making levi look up at you, the ice making your foot feel numb, which you liked.

"So you would if i didnt have a fractured foot?"

His brows furrowed "what?- no-" he groaned flopping his head in annoyance. "- i meant there's no point even joking about it becsuse of your foot- i wouldnt- why the fuck are you so incessantly annoying"

You roll your eyes and lay back down. "Is it so wrong to have a goal in life"

"When your goal is to sleep with me yes"

"I think thats a pretty easy goal to achieve"

Levi stares at you with a blank face for a couple seconds before speaking. "No."

"Well a for effort?"

He rolls his eyes, standing up and placing the ice down on the floor. "Sure, sit up ill bring you to your hut"

You huff and sit up, staring at him" you should just let me sleep here, im too tired to move" you say making levi glare. "No way in hell am i letting you sleep in my bed" he says, a small laugh leaving his lips as if what you said was completely insane to even mention.

He sat next to you to wrap your arm around his shoulder and his arm around our waist before hoisting himself up, you along with him.

"Youll give in eventually" you say and grin, levi rolling his eyes and walked you out of his hut, going over two huts and opened the door to it.

The cadets inside all look up from their beds and see levi and you walking in. Sasha gasps and runs over. "Thank god your okay!- what happened?" She said quickly helping you to a bed along with levi, the others watching.

"Ah- i fell and hurt my ankle and was just waiting for someone, im okay now" you smile at sasha as her and levi help you and sit you down on an empty bed.

Levi moves and turns to sasha. "Help her until tomorrow morning, she can sit in the carts tomorrow on the way back" he says before turning to you.

You look at him and tilt your head, waiting for him to speak.

"..dont be stupid, stay laying down" he says before turning on his heels and walking out.

You and sasha exchange glances before she shrugs and helps you fully onto the bed and the blanket before going back to her bed.

The exhaustion hits you as your head hits the pillow and your eyes flutter closed, falling asleep almost instantly.
