Thank you so much for clicking on Glimpses of Moonlight. It's been such an enjoyable time working on this story and the support I have received is unmatched. Thank you to everyone who has left me a kind message, to those who leave a comment, to everyone who has voted on chapters... I am in awe constantly at your encouragement.

This chapter is mostly filler; feel free to skip it if you wish. In fact, I'd bet about half of readers already have. So, I'll try to keep this short.

On the surface, Katie Swan appears to be an average girl. She's pretty, athletic, and abnormally intuitive. But when her parents are suddenly murdered, she is sent to Forks, WA to live with her uncle Charlie and his shy daughter Bella.

Soon, Katie learns that life in Forks is not what it seems. And everywhere she turns, there's more supernatural things to find... especially when she befriends Jacob Black, who seems to have secrets up his sleeve, too.

This story is (mainly) from the point of view of Katie Swan. There are a few things that I'd like to establish, right from the beginning, so that the story seems more straightforward.

If you'd like to go into this without a hint of the plotline, skip this note and head straight to the next chapter or to the character reference below. (It's your responsibility if you don't read this before committing to the story) But, if not, continue reading. Warning— some spoilers ahead so you know what the story is looking at here!

Continuity/Context: This book strays from the plot of New Moon. And this is in many subtle changes, not only the largest plot points. For example— instead of turning 16 in this book, Jacob turns 17 (and is 16 at the beginning of the story). So, if you notice any changes in continuity, just know it's so that I can follow this plot!

Spoiler (Love Interest): The main love interest in this story is Jacob Black. If that doesn't interest you, don't worry! No hard feelings if you turn away. And, for those who are skeptical, I assure you that he will be different than he is in the books and movies. Just wait and see!

Content Warning: Additionally, this book deals with themes of depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. Read at your own risk.

Spoiler (Main Character): Last but not least, the main character will not be your average human... but I'll let you read about that for yourself.
