When Destiny decides

Jay- Jay drove her car towards an apartment, 'Happy Home', as she parked her car, she heard little excited voices which brings smile on her face, she moves inside, three kids, Misti, Joe and CT encircled her, 'Jay', 'we missed you', 'yes, you're late', those kids started screaming.

'Silence, silence', Jay said, as she picked up the youngest kid, Misti, 'sorry, for making you wait, but I've got so many things for you', she cheered up the children. She asked the janitors to bring gifts and food from her car.

Jay feeds those kids by herself, 'so CT and Joe ready to join your new school', she asked, they all cheered up, 'but why am I not going Jay', Misti said, 'because you're too little to go in school, next year', she said.

Jay gets a call, 'a student's guardian wants to meet you Miss Jasper', the person on call informs her, 'me, why?', she asked, 'He said he just wants an assurance of the safety of his brother from the owner of the school', the person said. 'What's his name?', she questions.

Before she got the answer, a girl snatched away her phone, 'CT, I was talking', Jay said while taking back her phone. CT said, 'you're not allowed to use the phone when you're with us and please help us in getting ready', 'Roger that', Jay said and hung up the call assuring she'll be there in an hour.

Jay helped them, her eyes sparkled, 'when I had no one, I got you CT, then these all, it's so hard for me to live but you gave me a reason', she thought, and she kissed her forehead. The all-time looker of kids, Sebi, 'ma'am you took care of them like your own kids', she said, 'They all are mine', Jay said in a strict tone, 'every kid is mine', she asserted.

Sebi apologized and thanked her, 'you literally bought them the whole school, thank you ma'am'. 'Every child deserves love and happiness, even if they have no parents or are abandoned', Jay said. She took them all to the school, 'Shine Bright International School', she owns it. The kids were of different ages so as per it joined their classes.

Jay went directly to her office and asked to call the man who wanted to meet her. The door was knocked, 'come in', Jay said while using her phone, a boy entered, his eyes sparkled, he directly ran to her, 'Ate Jay' he exclaimed.

Jay was surprised as no one other than her close person knows this name of her, 'hey Kid, who are you and...', before she completed her sentence the boy hugged her, 'didn't you recognize me, Ate Jay?'.

Jay felt the hug familiar, 'Keiran', her sub conscious mind guided her lips. Keiran backed off, 'where were you, how much I missed you', he said, 'why did you leave us', he asked with tears in eyes.

The door opened again, Keifer made his entry while looking in phone and with School Receptionist, Steve who was explaining Keifer, 'sir, the school is most trusted of the city, and you can meet our new owner, Jasper Jean Mariano', Keifer's steps stopped after hearing the name, he looked up from his phone just to find Jay sitting in front of him, Keiran standing beside her.

Jay's eyes went on Keifer, they kept looking at each other without blinking, like someone petrified them, Keiran broke the silence, 'Kuya, can you believe, Ate Jay is here', Steve asked him to sit, Keifer coughed and pulled Keiran.

Steve informed Jay, 'Ma'am, he's the one I told you about, Mark Keifer Watson, he wants his brother to get admission in our school, they've shifted here from London recently', he was alone speaking, meanwhile Jay and Keifer were just looking towards each other without blinking, their eyes were saying a lot, many questions lying there, but lips were sealed.

'Why didn't you wait for me, I know I was a little late but...', Keifer thought, Jay in her mind, 'I was waiting but why didn't you come, did you hate me that much'.

*Flashback*

Jay's POV

When Percy told me that Aries can't be saved, I ran out of hospital and was about to strike a car, I closed my eyes, but someone pulled me, he's my savior, my Keifer, the one I loved the most but that time he's the one I chose to hate. 'Why did you save me?', I said while pushing him. 'I'll never let anything happen to you', he said.

My rage was so much that I didn't even hear anything from him, 'I lost my brother because of you, it's always you who hurt me', even though I know he always protects me, but the condition I was in made me say those things still he kept holding me.

Keifer's POV

I was sitting outside the hospital, then I saw Jay running on the road and was about to meet an accident, but I pulled her, 'are you blind, what if you got hurt', I yelled, she pushed me, but I pulled into a hug again. Jay was crying like a mess and blaming me and God, I know she's hurt, but I was blamed when I did nothing. Still, I consoled her, kept holding her until she knocked out in my arms, I brought her to hospital.

When I reached there, I got to know that Percy told me that Aries can be saved if within 24 hours he's taken to a famous American surgeon and I immediately arranged my private jet for it, a hope was there for Aries so thus in our relation.

When we arrived in America in due time, Aries was treated, he's out of danger. 'Maybe I've made up for my mistake', I said to Jay when she's taking a nap sitting nearby Aries, and I left.

Jay's POV

Aries was saved, the doctor said it'll take time to recover but he'll be fine soon, I wiped off my tears, and looked for Keifer, he's nowhere to see, Percy told me Keifer made this possible, and now he's left for Manila.

When Aries regained his senses, he cleared about his argument with Keifer, and the accident, even Keifer tried to save him. 'Shit what I've done', words itself blurted off my mouth. 

I instantly booked a flight; the regret was killing me and I landed and directly knocked on his door. Keifer opened up the door, fully drunk, 'Oh you're here, to meet a killer', he said.

I pulled him into a hug, he's not in his senses, I took him to his room, made him sleep by putting his head in my lap, I kissed his forehead, 'I'm sorry Keifer, I was scared what if I lost my brother again and it all vented on you'.

Keifer's POV

When I woke up the next morning, I saw Jay sleeping by keeping her head on mine, I made her sleep properly, of course I had the right to be angry. When she woke up, she apologized, I was too much hurt and ignored her, she kept following me wherever I was going.

When I was about to enter the washroom, she came there as well, 'do you want to join me inside', I asked, 'If you don't mind, can I', she said dramatically, pushed her and locked the door. She prepared toast, when I came back, her smile melted me, but her words were still pinching me hard in the heart.

Jay's POV

I won't be giving up Keif, until you hold me tightly and we kiss until the world ends, 'see I've prepared meals like a good wife', I said while blinking my eyes twice, he ignored the eye contact, 'you don't need to cook for that, I'll be happy if you just keep loving me'. He spoke. God, he's the greenest flag

I sat too close to him, kept his hand around my neck but he pulled off, ugh his tantrums, but then I sat in his lap, 'I'm sorry for it, I believed in what I saw', I said, 'and what about the things I told' he said. I know he's hurt.

'Jay, I wanted you to stand with me when the whole world was against me', tears welled up in his eyes, 'I wanted you to be by my side', his voice was heavy when he said that 'I need some time' and he left.

I wrote a letter, 'Dear Keifer, I blamed you, I was irrational, as Aries is suggested to live in America, my dad asked me to continue my studies from there only, he's booked my flight for tomorrow, I'll wait for you, if you appeared then I'll not go, and if not, I'll take it as you don't want me', I slid down the letter his room's door. 

Keifer's POV 

I saw the letter, of course I was angry but not that much that I'll let her go, but I wanted myself to become more emotionally stable, 'Jay, I won't let you wait too much, how's this possible that I don't want you, you're my oxygen, I love you too, just wait, I'll be there tomorrow', I said while smiling. 

I became ready to meet her, I know she'll be waiting for me, thank God, everything has become fine, then I heard Keigan screamed, i rushed to him, 'Kuya, grandpa... he's in ICU, we need to go', he said being tensed, my mind went blank, 'let's leave', Keigan said.

I wanted so badly to go to Jay, but I had to leave for London, my phone broke as it fell, I was not even able to inform her, 'please wait for a little more, I'll come for sure'.

Jay's Pov

As far as I know he can be angry but won't let me go, he also made some silly decisions and hurt me. The way I forgave him, maybe he can, I'm waiting for you, I missed my flight, he didn't even message, it's two days, 'fine, I got it, if this is your decision then I'm ready to accept it, Goodbye', I messaged him, I broke that phone and number and left.

Keifer's POV

My grandpa is still in danger, may be counting his last breath, and I don't even have my phone, and the work of office I need to handle it all now, how I'm supposed to inform her, it's been a week, he's fine, I got a new phone and her message too, 'No, please no, at least you should have gave a little more time'. I tried to contact her but no use, even Rory was unsuccessful.

*Flashback Over*

'When destiny planned to separate us then why it's brought us in front of each other again', they both thought. 

Keiran broke the silence, 'Kuya, I want to take admission in this school', Keifer nodded, 'I will appoint a bouncer for him, and I need access to CCTV of his class', he instructed. 

Jay replied, 'Keif...I mean Mr Watson, his security is our responsibility, don't worry about it'. Keiran again came closer to her, 'yes, I know she'll protect me', he said. 

Keifer secretory came inside, 'Sir, why didn't you picked up your phone, your fiancé, Ella is calling you', he informed, Keifer looked at Jay and then got up to answer the call. Jay's eyes were moist, 'he's got back with her, that's fine', she thought.

Keiran was blurting out his thoughts, 'how's Keigan', Jay asked, 'He's good, and he decided to study here that's why we shifted; New York is took good', he replied.  

Keifer hung up the call within thirty seconds, he's about to move inside but saw a girl running towards him and bumps into him, she got up without crying, he bent down, cleaned her clothes and looked at her, 'are you hurt', he asked, 'yes, a little', she said.

Keifer asked, 'why didn't you cried then', she replied, 'cause she's has made me a strong girl'. 'Good, what's your name', he questioned. 'CT, I mean Caretaker Mariano', she answered, Keifer's expressions changed into serious, 'who's she you mentioned', he again asked, 'Jay', CT said.
