Caine had placed a new set of clothes on you after repairing your digital body from the damage he'd caused. Though your body was returned to 'normal' you still felt the chill of it all racking up your crawling skin. The feeling uncomfortably unbearable at times. After everything Caine seemed to be in a better mood, disturbingly enough.

In his mine he had removed all shadows of doubt from Damien's mind about who you belonged to. His fractured concept of human emotions didn't quite understand he might've done the opposite. You had begun to show the opposite of Caine's new found bubbly attitude.

You had become withdraw and secluded. The others always asked what Caine did to the two of you after everyone was teleported away that day. However, neither of you dared speak about it. And everytime it was mentioned the two of you would freeze up in fear. Your eyes wide and staring off into the distance past whoever asked the taboo question.

Everyone whispered behind closed doors about what they theorized. No theories quite as heinous as the true unfolding of the prior events. Everytime Caine touched you now you'd wince in fear. He began to speak more softly, approach you more slowly. No matter what there was a sense of fear in every interaction.

He did all he could to comfort you and show it was only to teach a lesson in that moment, but your view of Caine had wildly irrevocably changed. Which wasn't to anyone's surprise.

Damien found himself dreaming of the encounter over and over. The wet sickening slapping of that massive member battering your needy cunt haunted him. The nightmares were ceaseless. And yet despite how horrific it truly all was, he found himself still wishing he could've been the one to make love to you.

However, he was sure you wanted nothing to do with him after that 'lesson'. Every adventure he avoided you at all costs. Sometimes not even going on them at all if it required the group to work together. Meanwhile Caine encouraged you to go on each one. Hoping it'd return you to the y/n he'd come to know.

Caine didn't understand your trauma the way anyone else in the circus would. Occasionally you'd open your mouth to begin to tell your closest companions in the circus. Only to shut it once more and return to solitude. The others pitied you and worried about Damien as well.

When would the cycle end?

Caine as per usual floated into your room, "Oooohhh y/n~"

You simply laid in silence on your bed staring at the door past Caine although your eyes were technically facing his. He took your silence as a sign to continue speaking.

"So I was thinking.. maybe my punishment was. A bit too harsh? Why don't we start allowing the two of you to talk again? Maybe that'll help get you out of this funky feely feelings!!"

Caine shoved a bouquet of roses in your face eagerly awaiting a response. You lazily looked down at the roses now placed by your face then back up at Caine who was now making puppy dog eyes. You begin to furrow your brows in anger at the sight before correcting your expression, hoping he didn't notice it.

Caine simply took it as you getting lost in deep thought for a moment before responding, "I guess maybe I don't know."

Caine shot up in the air spreading his arms above his head cheering, "Splendid just stay there I'll be right back with my notebook of ideas for adventures!"

He darted out the room leaving a cloud of smoke. In the hallway you catch a glimpse of Damien walking by next to Jax quietly chatting away about something you couldn't quite make out. Their conversation abruptly halted once Damien's eyes landed on you. Suddenly he froze. Now unable to move, he felt the tug of his shoulder by Jax.

"Cmon dude. I don't know whatever that creep did to you guys, but you need to keep moving. For both of your sakes."

Damien was lost in his own thoughts.

'I wonder if she's okay. Does she hate me? Should I apologize? Or keep walking?'

Damien looks a bit sad to see your depressed state, flowers next to you untouched.

'I'm guessing he gave those to her... what a sick twisted way of making up for what he did'

Your body slumped into the mattress as your dead eyes gazed at the doorway. Damien was almost worried you'd died with how still you laid there. Until your eyebrows rapidly shot upwards in surprise. Your mind processing that this wasn't just another hallucination as Jax spoke to Damien. Urging him to keep moving.

'Is that really him?'

You slightly sit up in bed. The two of them surprised to see you moving upwards. You then charge at the door, shooting up and running over with haste before coming to a complete stop. Jax now also frozen in shock to see you come over.

"Damien?"

He just stood there. Unsure of what to say.

Until Caine appeared.

"My my it seems we have some visitors! Isn't this perfect dear? We can plan our next adventure together. Come on in!"

Your mouth nearly dropped to the floor at Caine's suggestion. Your mind now racing with thoughts.

'What the fuck?'

'Is this some sort of sick twisted test? Or a game?'

You were certain that there was no way he'd seriously invited Damien of all people into your room. Jax seemed equally as surprised as the pupils of his eyes constricted to be impossibly small, the tiny black dots now darting back and forth between Caine and Damien. The action alone saying what everyone was thinking.

'What the fuck did he just say?'

Caine cheerfully continued, "My dear y/n seems to be stuck under the struggle bus of sadness. I was hoping you two could cheer her up!"

Jax's signature grin fell to a concerned expression bordering on skeptical, "Are you... suuurreee you want—us to help?" He pointed a finger at his chest then at Damien next to him. Damien shrinking back a bit.

"Why of course!! Y/n is in dire need of some cheering up and the more the merrier."

Everyone knew Caine as someone who hated making any adjustments to his adventures or any critiques. The idea of him brainstorming with others was so foreign it was disturbing that he'd even suggest it.

Jax looked down at Damien who clearly wasn't moving. Just staring ahead at y/n. And y/n was staring at Caine. While Caine stared at y/n, searching their eyes for even a molecule of approval. Caine so desperately wanted to see that signature smile once more.

"Please dear, I just want to see you happy again." Caine pleaded with you.

You eyed him up and down suspiciously. Cautiously choosing your next few words. Not wanting to seem too disinterested or too eager.

"Well— alright I guess."
