Part 4

07:00, 18 May 2015

Mark stood on the staircase, Jackson's arms still around his waist. He was slightly blushing. Mark didn't know why he felt this way.

"You can let go of me now," Mark's voice quivered.

"Oops, sorry."

"Well...see you tomorrow."

"Wait! Come by tomorrow night again! Remember, it's probably gonna be like this daily for awhile."

"Yeah, sure, whatever."

Mark rode his skateboard home. He was still confused as to why he couldn't move when he was being held my Jackson. It was so confusing. Mark finally arrived at his home. He walked inside and his mom was packing her clothing in a suitcase.

"Oh, Mark. You're home kinda late. I got a last minute call saying that I'm going on a business trip for about two weeks. You think you might be able to stay with a friend?" his mother asked.

"I don't know, maybe. See you in 2 weeks." Mark could care less about his mom travelling. He walked up to his room and closed the door. Mark decided to take a shower to relieve his stress from the long day.

After showering, he layed down on his bed and stared at the ceiling. He couldn't get his mind of Jackson. No matter how hard he tried to stop thinking of him and what had happened on the staircase. Mark refused to believe that he was having feelings for Jackson.

Mark finally fell asleep after countless hours of tossing and turning. That night, he was home alone.

******next morning******

Mark woke up and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He looked at the clock and realized he had woken up and hour early, which was very unusual. Mark got of bed and washed up. When he was done, he changed and went downstairs to look for breakfast. He decided to eat chips since his mom wasn't around.

An hour later, it was time to leave. Mark grabbed his skateboard and rode to school.

As he entered class, his teacher was surprised that he had actually come in on time, and in a decent mood. Mr.Park decided not to say anything about the matter.

The day went by slowly, and finally it was the last period of the day, music class. Mark stared at the door, day dreaming into space. He didn't realize that Jackson had walked in.

"Mark. MARK. MARK!" Jackson shouted into Mark's ear.

"SHIT DON'T DO THAT, YOU LITTLE BITCH!"

"Jeez, man. Calm your tits."

"Whatever, numb-nuts. What are you doing here?"

"Ummmmm....I'm in this class. Duh."

"What? You're in this class? Why haven't I noticed?"

"Because you're always busy falling asleep you bozo!" Jackson playfully hit Mark's head.

"HEY! Don't touch me!"

"Whatever!" Jackson said before poking him one last time before running away to his desk.

For some reason, Mark was unable to become overly upset with Jackson. He never lost control of his temper with him. To Mark, it was very odd. If it wasn't Jackson who hit him on the head, Mark would have punched that kid instead of letting him off.

Class ended and everyone packed their belongings.

"Wait for me!" Jackson called out.

Mark actually stopped and waited for him. He didn't expect himself to.

"Let's walk to my house together instead of waiting until tonight," Jackson said.

"I guess so."

They walked out of class together and was greeted by the sassy girl, Hyuna. She stood in front of them, arms crossed.

"How dare you beat up my brothers!" Hyuna slapped Mark in the face, leaving 3 long lines of bleeding scratch marks on his face.

"You bitch, it wasn't even me," Mark replied pushing her against the lockers with all his force. He walked away quickly. Jackson glared at Hyuna and ran after Mark.

Jackson finally caught up with Mark outside of school. He grabbed him by the arm. He could see Mark's face dripping with blood.

"Oh gosh, let's hurry back to my place."

They reached the house and they entered together. Jackson sprinted to the bathroom and came back with a first aid kit. He opened it and took out an alcohol wipe.

"This is gonna hurt okay? Just don't move," Jackson put the wipe on Mark's face.

"OW SHIT! AGHHHH!" Mark screamed. He unknowingly grabbed Jackson's hand and squeezed it. Jackson didn't mind as he continued to clean his cuts.

"Okay, time for ointment. Mark, you gotta let go of my hand so I can open this."

"What I'm not holdin--oh...sorry I didn't know," Mark let go quickly feeling a lot of embarrassment.

Jackson got very close to his face while applying the ointment. Jackson grabbed a few band aids and stuck them on his face.

"All done!" Jackson cheered, still close to his face.

Mark turned his head to the left, not knowing how close Jackson's face was. Their lips unintentionally met.
