K41 "Loving the Play"

JENNIE'S POV

"We went to find the book yesterday unnie, but we failed. You know I'm not a fool and absolutely not numb to not feel something going on from the very beginning. So when are you going to explain to me everything? From the meeting to the blackmailing part up to Lisa's strange behaviour, and everything to that book?" that's my monologue as soon as Sang-eun unnie and I arrived here at their company, I followed her to their unit and she doesn't even stopped me. "And may I add, the clip I saw in your laptop"

Unnie just looked at me calm as if everything was. "You know we still have a long night. Want to get a drink and I'll tell you everything" she said her voice is kinda giving me goosebumps.

"Hey Jennie wake up, you have shoot today, you're going to be late" I let out a soft moan, when I felt someone gently shaking me.

"Five more minutes" I mumbled.

"Oh come on sweety you only have less than an hour to prepare, you wouldn't want your partner to wait don't you?"

"Yeah right unnie!" I grumbled sitting on my bed. "My head can't still take everything, gosh I don't think I have the strength to work today" I complained massaging my throbbing head.

"That's because you drank too much last night, I have prepared a bath for you and here, a medicine to make you feel better" Sang-eun unnie

"You know unnie, I'm really impress to all of you, honestly." We are now on the set, we're actually early, so we decided to just stay here in my dressing room. "You guys really played a not-so-good-cupid" I stated and she just laughed at me. I've been commenting a lot since this morning and unnie will either going to nod or laugh at my thoughts. "I should plan a thank you party for all of you" I chuckled.

"Seeing both of you happy is enough, but please stop talking about it now someone might hear you. You know I just broke the rule for you" she stated. "Don't make me want to regret it" she added scratching her nape.

"You guys really did a good job, I can tell. I'm loving everything" I still continue commenting not following what she said.

"I know you do. I can see it. That's actually the reason why I had the courage to tell you now because I know you won't get mad at me"

"You guys should also work as a fortune teller, you know a lot of things" I laughed. "You all guesses well"

"It's not just about guess Jennie, we have proofs. Why would you let her kiss you on the first place? I know you Jen, you won't just let a stranger kiss you like what we saw on the video"

"I was drunk unnie, I wasn't aware that it's her I'm kissing, I wasn't aware of what happened, you know that" I just said. Half truth, I wasn't aware of my surroundings but I am hundred percent aware of the feeling I have on that moment, it is something that's hard to explain.

"You know, you are really a good actress. No doubt." She said in a sarcastic tone.

"Tsk. You'll stop teasing me or you want me to spill the tea?"

"Not gonna work Jennie Kim. Why don't you just admit it to yourself that everything happened because you let it happen"

"Whatever! Let's just continue the play then, I'm loving it anyway. Thanks to---------" I wasn't able to finish when we heard a noise outside, a footstep to be precise, it seems like a person in a hurry.

"Ow shoot!" Sang-eun unnie mouthed.

I look at her and she have a nervous shock expression.

"What?" I asked confuse, what's with her reaction?

She went on the door and open it. As she look outside I heard her relieved a sigh. "What a cute kitten, are you aware that you just made me nervous" I followed her and I saw her sit to level the kitten.

"Why are you even nervous?"

"Duh! What if someone heard what we are talking, my cousin will kill me if he knows what I have done"

"Why do they want to keep it a secret anyway, if you'll just explain-----"

"Shhh let's not talk about it now. Someone is heading toward us" I got shushed by her.

I look at the hall and I saw Bambam coming toward us. "Annyeonghaseyo good morning noona's. Is my little Latte disturbing you?" He asked looking at the cat.

"Ow this cute little kitten is yours?" Sang-eun unnie asked.

Bambam nodded.

"Did Lisa already arrived?" I asked him.

Bambam look at me with a teasing smile. Tsk.

"Uhmm yes noona, she's playing with Latte a while ago but she suddenly excused herself. I thought she'll going to find you but I don't know where she go, she seems like in a hurry. I think she forgot something"

"I'll excuse myself kiddos" Sang-eun unnie. "Jennie, try to call Lisa, I think the shoot is about to start in a minute" I just nooded at her.

LISA'S POV

"You know, you are really a good actress. No doubt."

"Tsk. You'll stop teasing me or you want me to spill the tea?"

"Not gonna work Jennie Kim. Why don't you just admit it to yourself that everything happened because you let it happen"

"Whatever! Let's just continue the play then, I'm loving it anyway."

A bitter smile escape my lips.

You never learned Lisa.

I'm such fool wishing that even just in a tiny-little chance everything is true.

But how can I forgot that people loves to play around.

***Ring***Ring***

I just look at my phone ringing.

My Nini

I let out a faint smile again.

I didn't answer her call. I'm going to meet her in a minute anyway.

I felt it vibrated again, she texted me.

"Hey Lili, where are you? Why are you not answering my call? The shoot is about to start"

I simply replied "I'm on my way"

"Hey are you okay?" Jennie unnie asked as soon as I approached them.

"Yeah ofcourse why?" I tried to sound hype like the way I was.

"You seems strange" she doubts

I laugh "What do you mean?"

"You look ummmm, I don't know, is there something wrong?"

"Nah I just didn't had enough sleep last night cause you keep running on my head" I said acting cool, that's right Lisa, you're so good.

She doesn't look pleased to what I've said. She's just looking at me seriously.

I sigh "Aishh unnie there's nothing wrong okay. Come on let's continue the play, I mean the shoot. I badly want to go home and sleep again."

I tried my very best to act normal as if I didn't heard anything and I guess I succeed.

Hays, how I wish I didn't wake up and go here just to hear her saying that.

I love her that eventhough it hurts, I am still willing to give her my heart----- just for her to continue playing.
