Part 21

Seth's point of view;

"How does it feel to be the new Divas Champion?" JoJo asks Nikki. She grins excitedly holding her title.

"I feel great. This is what WWE is all about, this is my hard work paying off. I'm finally Champion it's all I ever dreamed of. This win at Survivors Series only proves how much I've worked for this. It's my biggest dream come true." She blows a kiss to the camera and I stop the video.

"Watching her segment, again?" Roman asks as he walks out of the bathroom. I turn off my phone throwing it on the bed. "I can't help it." I say.

Even though I'm trying so hard to forget her I can't. A few weeks ago at Survivors Series I had to stop the urge to run to her and hug her to congratulate her for her win.

"Listen Seth, you need to talk to Brie about this." Roman says as he packs up his stuff. "What?" I ask looking at him. He can't be serious.

"Brie and I literally get married this weekend. She's going to be so mad if she ever finds out I knew about your feelings for, Nikki. She's going to be my wife and there can't be secretes between us." Roman says.

I sigh laying on my bed. "I know, Roman. You have to understand I can't tell Brie about this. You have any idea how she would react? Listen, I promise I will try to forget, Nikki. Don't tell Brie about this okay? I will forget her. I will move on."

Roman turns to look at me and scoffs, "Ha. You almost convinced me there." I frown, "I'm serious, Roman." Roman shakes his head, "Okay, okay. Whatever you say. Let me tell you something though, looking at all her interviews and segments on YouTube is not going to help you forget her."

"I'm going to go eat somewhere. Bye." I walk to the door as I hear Roman say "You can't run away from your problems forever." Sometimes Roman likes to act like my dad which can get annoying but he is right. He's right in everything he says.

When I get to the lobby I see Renee talking to Brie. Romans words come up on my head. He's right. I can't get over Nicole if I keep hanging on to her.

"Renee." I say, she turns around and looks surprised that I called her name. She's usually the one that's calling me. "Hey, Seth." She says with a grin. I wave at her and Brie.

"I'm going out to eat. Do you want to come with me?" She looks at Brie who grins at her. "Yes. Sure." She says with a smile. Brie winks at me as we walk to the door.

"Well this is a surprise." Renee says as I open the car door for her. "Why?" I ask as I buckle up and start the car. "Well you've never asked me out to eat." She says.

"I should ask you more often." I say, she giggles and her cheeks turn a pinkish color something I find adorable. "Where would you like to eat?"

"It doesn't matter." She says. "Let's go get Chinese." I say as I spot a random Chinese restaurant.

We get off and walk to the entrance. "Just two?" A waitress asks, I nod and she walks us to a booth. She gives us utensils and asks for our drinks.

After we order our drinks she tells us to help ourselves and walks away. We walk to get a plate and start getting food.

I'm the first one back to our table, the waitress comes with our drinks and puts them down on the table. "Thank you." She smiles and walks away.

Renee comes back in a few seconds we start eating and chatting. "How do you feel about Brie's wedding?"

"I'm so happy for Roman and her. I'm sure they're going to be really happy. They're meant for each other." I say, "Oh yeah totally. I'm excited to go to the wedding."

I'm about to say something when I see Nikki and John walk in. To my disgrace they get a booth close to ours.

"Oh! Theres Nikki and John. Hey guys!" Renee says waving excitedly. John smiles and grabs Nikki's hand waking towards us.

My eyes are fixed on Nikki who avoids eye contact with me. "Hey there." John says, "What a surprise." Nikki says looking at Renee and then at me. She quickly looks away though. "Right. What a lovely surprise." I say with a smile. Nikki then looks at me and her cheeks turn a red color.

"Well we'll let you keep eating. Enjoy." John walks to his booth and I immediately turn my attention to Renee.

"They're such a cute couple. Aren't they?" Renee asks with a smile. "Well they're not really dating yet but I'm sure they will soon. They're just so adorable! They look so good together and they're just goals. I ship it. They're just-"

"Stop!" I scream. Renee flinches and she looks like she's going to cry. I immediately feel guilty and I grab her hand. "I'm sorry Renee, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scream.  I just don't want to talk about them. If I invited you to eat is not so we talk about them."

She nods her head and smiles sympathetically, "I know sorry." I feel a terrible feeling in my chest. "No, don't apologize. You did nothing wrong. I'm sorry."

"It's fine." She says, "Renee, since you're going to Brie's wedding. Why don't you be my partner?"

Renee's eyes light up immediately. "Really? I would love to!" She says, she leans in and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

It takes me by surprise but then she keeps eating her food. I then look up and see that Nikki's been looking at me. She looks way once her eyes meet mine.

I look at Renee and she's telling me about something. She's smiling and laughing. Renee is everything a guy would want. She's beyond beautiful and super nice.

Once again I wish that I liked her but there's things you can't tell your heart to do.
