As soon as we arrived at the Cullen's, Edward stole Bella away, taking her upstairs. I playfully pouted at the vampire, teasing that he was stealing my girl away. That only served to make both of them laugh as they walked upstairs, still leaving me.

A low whistle sounded to my right, dragging my attention from the staircase and to my boyfriend who looked... amazing was too simple a word, he looked down right edible. "You are gorgeous," Emmett breathed out in amazement as he walked up to me, his eyes drinking me in the same way I was doing to him.

He was dressed in a dress shirt and pants, both of which were tight fitting and accentuating his muscles. I bit my lip lightly, the need to claim him flaring up inside of me. It was annoying how worked up he could get me by just walking into the room.

"Says you," I replied slowly, my eyes working their way up to meet his eyes. They were a brilliant gold, telling me he'd just fed.

Emmett's hand found my waist as he gently pulled me closer to him, "Alice said it'll be at least twenty minutes before dinner is ready..." He trailed off, his eyes dropping to the bust of my dress, where my cleavage was on full display. I'd thought the dress was a little too revealing, but Alice insisted that Emmett would love it. I'm glad I listened to her.

"Upstairs or the garage?" I asked, dropping my voice in hopes that the other vampires weren't listening.

Emmett's teeth flashed as he pulled a wide smile, "garage is closer."

I giggled as he took my hand, pulling me off to the garage to spend a couple minutes alone before Bella's party.

As soon as we were inside the secluded room, Emmett's hands were on me, pulling me flush against his body as he groaned in my ear. "I've been thinking about you all day," He whispered in my ear as his hands found my hair, pulling my head back as his lips connected with mine.

We were all tongue and fumbling hands as Emmett picked me up and took me over to the took boxes at the back of the garage. I was working to unbutton his shirt as fast as my hands could work, wanting to see more of his body.

Emmett sat me down on the counter top, pushing my skirt up until it was bunched at my hips, exposing my lower half. I finally got the last button done, pulling away from the kiss to catch my breath and pushing the shirt off Emmett's shoulders.

Emmett's lips were on my neck as his hands moved between my legs, ripping my underwear from my body before I could protest. "Em, we have to be quick," I reminded, breathlessly as he trailed his lips down my neck and toward my chest.

At the reminder he pulled his lips from my bust moving instead to capture my lips in a deep kiss. I moaned into his mouth as I felt his fingers brush through my already wet folds. I was more than ready for him.

My hands moved to find the buckle on his dress pants, working quick to undo it and push the fabric down just enough. I pulled out of the kiss, needing to breathe, my lungs starved of oxygen.

As Em sunk his fingers into me I let out a quiet whine, trying my hardest to be quiet as to not let the other's hear us. My cheeks were flushed already, I didn't want to make it more obvious what we were doing once we were done.

"Please, Em," I begged, needing to be filled and quick.

Emmett flashed me a wicked smirk before obeying my plea, he quickly pushed his pants and boxers down, pulling out his throbbing member. My mouth watered at the sight of it, wanting nothing more than to feel it fill me.

Thankfully, Emmett wasted no time in bringing himself to my entrance and filling me up in one smooth motion. My head fell back as a wave of pleasure washed over me, I already felt on the brink of orgasm and the man hadn't even touched me much yet.

I rolled my hips against his the best I could in our position, wanting to reach my peak already. Emmett chuckled, but it was cut off with a groan as I clenched around him. He dropped his forehead to mine, his hands were gripping my hips so tightly I knew I'd bruise later. But I didn't care, I loved the marks Emmett left on me, they were little reminders of the moments we shared.

"I'm close already," I whispered, my hand moving to fist his hair, pulling his lips to my neck.

I let out a moan as Emmett kissed his way down my chest, gently nipping at the area right above my heart. "Fuck, you feel so good," He groaned against my skin, his voice low as he quickened his thrusts. The angle made each thrust edge between pleasure and pain as his size was still something I wasn't fully used to.

Just as I felt myself about to crest, my orgasm just out of reach, Emmett's teeth broke skin, a wave of euphoria washing over me the same time as my orgasm. Emmett's hand reached up, clamping over my mouth to muffle my cries of pleasure, his mouth not leaving my chest as he quickly brought himself to completion.

Emmett groaned lowly as he finished, his mouth slowly pulling away from my chest, but not before he gently licked over the bite marks. He sent me a lazy grin as he looked down at me, blood still smeared across his full lips. I felt exhausted, ready for a nap.

I opened my mouth to say just that, but was interrupted by a knock sounding on the garage door. "If you guys are done, dinner is ready!" Alice's perky voice called from the other side.

My cheeks flamed red as I looked up at Emmett, embarrassment heating my cheeks. He only chuckled, finding it completely amusing. "Shut up," I groaned out, slapping his arm, but that only made him laugh harder.

We were all standing downstairs, waiting as Alice excitedly ran upstairs to fetch Bella and Edward. I was standing awkwardly next to Emmett, still slightly flushed from our earlier activities. Thankfully my hair was long enough to cover the very obvious bite mark on my bust.

And even though Esme had discreetly assured me it was completely fine and totally normal for new mates, I was mortified that everyone knew what we had just done. Well, everyone except Bella I suppose.

Bella and Edward quickly made their way down the stairs, Alice bounding ahead of them and quickly grabbing a silver camera she'd found in Bella's bag earlier. I knew Bella was going to hate having her photo taken, but I thought it was sweet for Alice to think about it.

As Bella stepped off the stairs, Carlisle was the first to greet her, "Sorry about all this, we tried to reign Alice and Olivia in." I shook my head, a smile tugging at my lips.

Esme laughed, bringing Bella into a hug, "as if that were even possible, happy birthday Bella."

A flash went off as Alice took a picture of the two hugging, Bella sent Alice a confused look, to which the pixie vampire shrugged, "I found it in your bag, do you mind?"

Bella shook her head, "no, it's fine." I giggled, wanting to call her out on the lie, but deciding to let her keep face.

Edward came up beside me and Emmett sending us each a look, "at Bella's party, really you two?" I knew he was teasing but my cheeks started to burn hotter and I groaned in embarrassment, turning my face to bury it in Emmett's side.

Emmett was just laughing, chuckling at my expense. "Dating an older woman, hot." He commented, referring to Bella. I pulled my head away and slapped him on the arm, shooting him a look. "What?" He asked innocently.

I rolled my eyes, sighing.

Alice was bouncing excitedly as she moved over to the gift table, handing a small box to Rose, "you first Rosalie."

Rosalie looked anything but happy as she handed the package to Bella, "It's a necklace, Alice picked it out."

"You're supposed to let her open it, Rose," I teased trying to ease the awkward tension between the blonde and brunette.

Rose sent me a sharp look that had me stepping back slightly, my mouth closing. Okay then.

"Thanks" Bella awkwardly smiled at the blonde.

Alice, deciding to ignore the tension, took the gift from Bella and then pulled Edward and Bella together, forcing them to stand side by side, "Show my the love!" She held up the camera, snapping a couple quick shots.

She then turned and picked up a wrapped box that I already knew was empty, "this one's from Emmett."

Bella shook the box before turning to where Emmett and I were standing by the stairs, Emmett's arm wrapped around me.  "Already installed it in your truck," He spoke excitedly, a wide grin on his face, "Finally a decent sound system for that peice of cra--"

"Hey," Bella interrupted at the same time I elbowed him in the ribs, "Don't, don't hate the truck."

We all laughed lightly at Bella's defense. She knew the truck was shit, but she loved that thing. "Ooh, do mine next," I called excitedly, pointing to the bag that Alice was bringing over to Bella.

Bella pulled out the crinkle paper, handing it off to Edward before pulling out the sketch book. I could see the light of excitement in her eyes as she looked up at me, "I haven't drawn in..."

"Years," I finished for her, "I know, but you're really good, Is. Hopefully you use this as an opportunity to perfect your skills."

She sent me a soft smile while putting the book and crinkle paper back in the bag, "thanks Liv."

I nodded, returning her smile. Alice took the bag from Bella and passed her a small wrapped box next, "Open Esme and Carlisle's."

Carlisle wrapped an arm around his wife, smiling at the brunette human, "Just something to brighten your day."

Esme was also grinning happily as she teased Bella, "yes, you've been looking a little pale lately."

Bella smiled, glancing down as she struggled to open the wrapping paper. "Ow." She hissed, holding up her finger that was bleeding.

What happened next was like slow motion, my brain not quite processing what was happening as it was.

Emmett grabbed me and ran me up the stairs in a flash before leaving my side just as quickly. At the same time I watched helplessly as Bella was thrown back against the wall by Edward.

I flinched as I watched her crash to the ground, "Bella!" I shouted, worried. But Jasper was running toward her and Edward was there, shoving him back into the piano.

A gasp fell from my lips as the wooden instrument cracked beneath the force of Jasper's body. But it didn't seem to bother him as he was up again, moving quickly toward Bella.

Carlisle swiped at him, just missing the younger vamp. Emmett wrapped his arms around him, but Jasper was quick, shrugging him off for a second before both men were able to restrain his arms.

I breathed a sigh of relief as I noticed Jasper was stopped, his snarling growls still prominent in the air.

Everyone was focused on Jasper but my gaze was on Bella. She was struggling to get up from the ground and I could see the blood seeping from her arm. I didn't hesitate as I ran down the stairs toward my best friend.

"Bells," I whispered, helping her to a sitting position, "Oh god." Her arm was cut from her bicep to her elbow, her sleeve torn as blood was seeping.

This was probably the worst place to be bleeding right now. I placed my hand over her wound as if that would hide the scent of her from reaching the others.

All at once Alice's soothing voice stopped and I glanced over my shoulder to see that all eyes were on us. Jasper was the only one that looked unhinged but, Alice and Rose were eyeing Bella like she was their next meal. And Edward... he looked pained and I knew it was because Bella was his blood singer.

Emmett just looked panicked, clearly trying to do his best to keep Jasper from attacking Bella, especially since I was so close to the girl.

"Anyone who can't control themselves needs to leave," I spoke firmly, my eyes landing on each of the Cullen's. I didn't care that they were practically family, if any one of them hurt Bella I'd get them killed. "Now."

Carlisle was the first to move, shoving Jasper into my burly mate, "Get Jasper out of here." In a flash he was in front of Bella and I, taking her arm gently into his hands.

Emmett moved to take Jasper out, man handling him the whole way. Alice looked embarrassed as she looked at Bella, "I-I'm sorry, I ca--I can't." And then she too was gone.

Rose and Esme were quick to follow the three out of the house, not wanting to linger. I took a shaky breath as I stood up from the ground, glass crunching beneath my feet.

"I'll have to stitch this up in my office," Carlisle explained, his voice gentle and soft even now, "Go check on Jasper. I'm sure he's very upset with himself and I doubt he'll listen to anyone but you right now." He was talking to Edward but Edward's gaze was focused on Bella.

"Edward?" I urged, nervous that he would snap and kill my best friend. I know he loves her but from what Emmett told me about blood singers...

Thankfully his gaze met my own, tearing away from Bella. He gave me a nod before slowly turning and making his way out of the house.

Carlisle was gentle as he helped Bella to stand and guided her to his office off the main room.

Once everyone was gone and it was just me I let out a shaky breath. My heart was still pounding in my chest, I felt like my entire body was shaking, and I felt close to tears. I knew it was a result of the adrenaline that just rushed through my system.

Jasper was feral, so unlike the soft spoken vampire I knew him to be. He wanted to kill Bella and if it weren't for everyone else-- I let out a choked noise, my hand going up to my mouth to quiet myself.

My fingers were stained with Bella's blood though and as I looked at the crimson I was reminded of the last time I'd seen so much blood. Images of the ballet studio flashed into my mind and it was like I was there again, the fear coursing through my system just as it did that day.

James grabbed my wrist with one hand and a shard of glass with the other and before I could pull back, he cut me from elbow to wrist, splitting my arm open.I let out a cry of pain, my arm burning and so so warm as the blood poured from the wound.

"No, no, no," I cried as he let go of my wrist and started laughing. I tried to place my free hand over the wound, tried to stop the blood from gushing out of my arm, but my hand was too small and the cut too big.

I could feel the camera on my tear streaked face, but I refused to pay it any mind. Refused to give him what he wanted. James scooped up some of my blood from my wound, bringing it to his mouth with the camera pointed at him, he moaned as he licked his fingers clean, "She really does taste delicious, it's a shame most of it is going to waste."

James turned the camera back to me, "Tell Emmett to kill me, tell him to avenge you," James teased, obviously enjoying this little game he was playing.

"Go to hell!" I screamed in his face, unable to stay calm any longer. "Emmett will be here soon and when he gets here he's going tear you limb from--" My words were cut off with a scream as James dug a thumb into my wound, pushing right into the already painful cut.

"I'd love to see him try," James said before getting up and walking back over to Bella.

My vision was spotty as I flickered between memory and reality. I didn't even realize I was holding my scar until I felt a pair of cold hands grab my biceps, pulling me full out of the past. I could feel a lone tear sliding down my cheek as I glanced up into Carlisle's golden eyes.

"Olivia," He whispered softly, his voice a gentle caress compared to the harsh growl of James'. "Are you okay?"

I shook my head slowly, my nails digging into the flesh of my arm, unable to stop as I gripped my scar. "I need you to tell me what's going on."

My mouth opened and I tried to voice it, tried to explain that I was having some sort of PTSD freak out over James and the ballet studio but all that came out was a choked sob. "Here, I got her," Em's voice broke through my cries and I was being passed from Carlisle's cold hands and into Emmett's arms.

I was finally able to release my arm, my hands moving instead to fist Emmett's dress shirt between my fists as tightly as I could. I shook my head violently, trying to clear my head. This was ridiculous, I'd been fine since the ballet studio. I'd only cried once about the whole thing. Why was it coming up now?

My breathing was uneven as Emmett held me close to him, whispering soothing words into my ear. It took awhile but eventually I was able to calm my racing heart. My panic subsiding enough for me to explain what was going on.

"I'm sorry Jasper scared you so much," Emmett apologized, his voice grave as he spoke the words.

I shook my head, "no, it--it wasn't Jasper, not completely." I pulled away from Emmett's chest, sniffling as I did so. "It was the blood... it reminded me of James."

"The shock of everything must of triggered a post traumatic episode," Carlisle explained and my eyes met his.

My eyes dropped to my hands that were still covered in crimson. I felt my stomach rolling and I had to look away. I needed to wash this blood off immediately. I moved away from Emmett and turned to make my way to the closest sink, in the kitchen.

I quickly washed away any evidence of Bella's accident, all the while Emmett stood beside me, hovering. As I dried my hands, I took a shaky breath, turning to my boyfriend. "I don't think I can drive. Can someone else take Bella home? I can have someone meet at the treaty line if you'll take me?"

Emmett immediately nodded and I smiled up at him in thanks before stepping forward to wrap my arms around his waist. "Thanks, Em. I love you." I whispered into his shirt, finding immediate comfort in the way he wrapped his arms around me, holding me steady against his chest.

"I love you more," He whispered into my hair.
