Chapter 15

~Alexis's POV~

     We were watching Wallflower, but I wasn't really paying attention. I was too worried about Ashley. I mean her Mom just died. I wonder how she's taking it. She'll probably hide her feelings from everyone again.  It's sad....   She can stay with me anytime!  She doesn't have to be alone or bottle up her feelings like that...  but seriously --  "AHH!"  Harry screamed, interrupting my thoughts. Ugh.  I jumped. I laughed as Zayn slapped Harry's arm.  "OWW!!  WHAT THE HELL?!"   "Mate, calm down...  Sunako was just making food..."  Niall said, his voice trembling a bit..  I rolled my eyes.  "You two get scared easily." "Pshh! No we don't!" they all denied, but it was clear that they were lieing. They were all shaking in their seats. "Shut up! I'm trying to watch the anime!" I yelled at them. They instantly quieted down. Hmm it seems like Ashley is rubbing off on me. Ashley...I sigh wishing I could help her, but knowing her she would just say that she's fine and make everyone else happy. It's what she does, she cares for everyone else before herself. Niall wraps his arms around me and I snuggle deeper into his chest, deciding to deal with this tomorrow.

~Ashley's POV~

     I woke up in a cold sweat. All the memories from that day came rushing back to me. I felt tear well up in my eyes, but I forced them back. I looked over and saw Louis sleeping there nexxt to me. I smiled, but it quickly dissappeared. I crawled out of bed and walked down the hall towards the lounge. I could here sounds coming from the TV and recoginized it as Wallflower's opening credits. Alexis must be making them watch it. I stood in the doorway. No one knew I was there yet. I saw Niall and Alexis sleeping with eachother in the couch. Harry and Zayn were on the floor sleeping while Liam was watching the anime from the recliner. I watched the scene before me for a little bit longer before walking into the room. Liam looked up when he saw me. I could see pity and sorrow in his eyes. Great here comes the 'I'm sorry for your lost.' or 'She's in a better place now' or anything along those lines. I hate it when people say that too me.They never actually mean it. "Don't apoligize for somthing that wasn't your fault." I tell him sitting down on the floor. He looked away then looks back at me. I notice it was three in the morning. "Ashley.." he began. I could tell he wanted to ask me somthing, but didn't know how. "Spit it out Liam. I can tell you want to ask me somthing." I say not looking at him. He clears his throat, "Well I was curious about your past. Managment said you had a tragic past, so I was wondering what it was." I froze. Ofcourse he would want to know whatit was. I should've been expecting this question. "It's in the past Liam. Just leave it there." I say. I started shaking from the memories that were now running through my head. "But Ashley, I kinda want to know. You don't have to tell me it all at once." I could feel the tears starting to form in my eyes. Why couldn't he just drop it?! "Drop. It." I tell him. He moves out of the recliner and crouches infront of me, "Ashley please-" I lost it. I pushed Liam gently away from me. Tears were streaming down my face. I shudder at the memories. "Ashley?" Liam says looking at me worriedly. I got up and started walking out of the room. Liam quickly followed me. No, I couldn't do this right now. I just lost my mom for crying out loud. "Ashley tell me!" Liam says. I cantell he's trying to be patient, but he's getting frustrated. "No Liam. It's none of your concern." I say still walking away from him. My burns were getting better. I was suppose to take the gauze off later on today. The cutts on me are all healed up as well. I heard Liam walk after me. Next thing I know I was on the floor staring up at Liam's shocked face. Did he just hit me? "Oh my god, Ashley I''m so sorry. I didn't mean too." He did hit me. I bolted out the front door of the bungalow. "Ashley!" I hear Liam scream after me. I kept on running. I was glad that I was still wearing whose ever hoodie from earlier. My bare feet hit the pavement and then the wood floor. I kept on running and running. I eventually lost track of everything around me. All I know is that I needed to get away and clear my head.

~Niall's POV~

     I heard a thump and then Liam screaming Ashley's name. What the hell happened? I hear another thump, but it was closer to me. I look over and realised that Alexis rolled off the couch. "What was all of that commontion about?" she asked. I shrug, "I don't know, but it sounded like it was Liam and Ashley arguing." Alexis gets up and starts walking towards the hallway. I follow her and we see Liam standing in the doorway of the bungalow looking outside. "What's going on here? Where's Ashley?" Louis said from behin Alexis and I. Liam turns around with regret on full display in his face, "I asked Ashley to tell me about her tragic past-" Alexis instantly became angry, "WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?! SHE WON'T EVEN TELL ME EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED! WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT SHE WOULD TELL YOU?!" she yelled. "She can't go bback to the way she was before." Alexis said more to herself. The way she was before? "What else did you do?" Louis asked eyeing Liam warily. Liam looks away tears in his eyes, "I don't know what came over me. I didn't mean too. It was like I blacked out for  a second." Liam looks back up at us. He took a deep breath, "I slapped her when she wouldn't tell me what happened." "YOU WHAT?!" Alexis yells walking up to Liam and slapping him across the face. Louis and I looked at Liam in shock. He never ever hitted a girl before. None of us have. I can't believe he did that. Liam looked down ashamed. He had a bright red mark on his cheek from Alexis. "Which way did she go?" she asked Liam. "She went across the road and towards the woods." he replied. Alexis took off running. I ran after her and Louis was close behind me. We left Liam standing in the doorway.
