Chapter 12

~Zayn's POV~

     "Vas' Happenin?" I asked Ashley. The boys and I just got done shopping and we came back we heard Ashley singing a song we didn't recognize while she played Niall's guitar. "Is that my guitar?" Niall asked. "Maybe it is, maybe it isn't." Ashley answered looking at us warily. "So, what's going on between you and Alexis?" Ashley asked smugly. Niall blushed a dark shade of red. "You like her don't you?" Ashley said deadly serious. I wonder what was up with her sudden change in attitude. Is she like a bi-polar, depressed, American girl? Well i can't really call her a girl since she's older than me.."Tell me now Niall. She's my best friend and I would do anything for her," Ashley said quietly. I was shocked that she was so loyal to her friends. I feel bad for judging her earlier.. Niall blushed even red-er, "Yeah, I do like her. A lot actually." he said smiling like an idiot. Ashley sighed and handed him his guitar. She hugged him and then walked inside. We all just looked at each other and followed her inside. That was a little,,,weird?

~Niall's POV~

     We all walked inside and I was in deep thought. None of the guys realized it, but Ashley whispered, "Don't hurt her. She's been through so much already." in my ear while we hugged. I would never hurt her! I..I think I was falling in love with her. I wonder what she has been through though. I guess I'll eventually find out. We-as in the boys and I- walked into the lounge after dropping our bags off in a random room. I saw Alexis asleep on the sofa. I smiled to myself for it looks like she has been sleeping for awhile. She looked so cute wen she was sleeping. I sit down by her head,  for she was lying across the entire length of the sofa. I turned on the telly and lean my head back. After a few minutes, I fell asleep.

~Louis's POV~

     We were all sitting around in the lounge watching the telly and talking quietly among ourselves. Niall and Alexis were sleeping while Ashley went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. She was gone for a while before she came back. I wonder what took her so long. She sat down next to me on the floor and whispered, "Hey Louis?" I look at her, "Yeah?" She looked at me with pleading eyes, "Can I talk to you alone? Away from the bungalow?" I watch her carefully. She looks like she was about to burst out in tears, "Yeah, let's go." I say as I stand up. The boys head-well except for Niall's and Alexis's but she's a girl..- shot up as I stood up. "I'm going  to take Ashley out to get dinner for everyone," I said lien easily on the spot. Ashley stood up and started walking to the door only pausing to grab a jumper. She put it on quickly, "I hope whoever's hoodie this is, that they don't mind if I borrow it. I don't know where mine is." I smile to myself for Ashley was wearing my jumper. I grab the keys to the van and followed Ashley out the door hearing a faint, "Come back soon!" from Liam I think. I open the passenger door for Ashley and then get in the drivers seat. I started driving to the park.

     It was about fifteen minutes later and Ashley still hasn't said anything. We were at the park now, but we were just sitting in the van. "Ashley, what's wrong?" I asked her quietly. She turns to me and I see that she has been crying silently to herself. I gasp and reach over to pull her onto my lap. I was hugging her tightly while her hands put my shirt in a death grip. She started to sob, but yet it was still silent. Yes, that's right. She was silently sobbing into my shoulder. "Shhhh, it will be okay Ashley." I said trying to soothe her. I started to rub comforting circles into her back. God, I hated seeing her like this. It was practically killing me inside for I don't know what is wrong. I don't know why Ashley is crying and I don't know how to help her. I hated this feeling of being useless. "Tell me what happened Ashley," I say still rubbing circles in her back. She continues to sob silently, but every few sobs I could hear her saying something. I listened closely, "M-my m-mother....s-she passed away...It seems like every-...one leaves me Louis!" she says sobbing after every few words. "Shh babe, I'd never leave you." I tell her pulling back slightly to wipe her tears away. "Everyone always does Louis," she whispers while staring at me. Her face showed so much pain and sadness. She really has gone through to much shit in her life. More than she should of had too. She was way too mature for her age. "I won't ever leave you Ashley," I whispered in her ear. "Ashley?" I say hesitantly. "Yeah LouLou?" she asks me. "So where do you want to eat?" I asked her in a cheesy accent at the last second. I couldn't ask her that yet. She laughs softly. I love that laugh so damn much. I wanted to make her laugh more. I WILL make her laugh more! "Nando's?" she suggested smiling slightly. "Aww the little Irish boy will be happy!" I coed as I drove to Nando's/

AN:// i finally finished chapter twelve. so Louis wouldnt ask her something. what wouldnt he ask her?  anywho i feel some Niall and Alexis action(?) coming soon!:D Sorry for grammar/spelling mistakes! Comment? Vote? Read? Enjoy? Tell people about?
